I'm not a chess fag or anything but when Q mentioned D5 it made me remember the Marshall chess game. That was move 26 out of 36 so maybe that's where we are in the game. But got me thinking about the sec test and the cxe, wondering if that refers to a move in the game as in c across e. Just a thought, but don't know enough about the game and also I think there would have to be a number 1-8 also associated with it.
