The debunkers claimed that their photo had been stolen and mis-used. Problem being, this is - not - their photo … which makes their claim ab initio false. That means that the rest of the tale cannot be true, either.

They claim that this was a student-led protest. The variety of pre-printed signs in the background argues deeper pockets than students typically have. So I suspect that this is another lie.

Cernovich is the frequent object of campus protests, so I don't find the presence of his name odd / suspicious.
