Actually the push is to make Americans think that AI is the bees knees and tech is over, while the Chinese are hiring programmers in droves, keeping their people informed, and lulling Americans to become reliant on AI. Then when AI has aglitchand our world and tech infrastructure comes crumbling down, we will be brought to our knees because the Americans will have forgot how to program properly, and we will become a 3rd world country as a result.
