MI6 infiltrated global nuclear watchdog – media

A veteran British spy allegedly worked inside the IAEA amid escalating tensions over Iran, according to Grayzone

A British intelligence operative allegedly infiltrated the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to help coordinate Western sanctions against Iran, The Grayzone wrote on Tuesday.

The outlet cited leaked documents describing MI6 agent Nicholas Langman and his role within the UN watchdog.

Langman’s resume was reportedly found in a trove of leaked papers detailing the activities of Torchlight, a UK intelligence cutout. He was allegedly linked to covering up British intelligence’s role in Princess Diana’s death and has been accused by Greek authorities of managing the abduction and torture of Pakistani immigrants in Athens.

His resume reportedly states that Langmanalso “led large, inter-agency teams to identify and defeat the spread of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons technology,” including through “support for the [IAEA] and Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).”

Langman is said to haveplayed a major role in organizing the sanctions imposed on Iranby “[building] highly effective and mutually supportive relations across government and with senior US, European, Middle and Far Eastern colleagues for strategy” between 2010 and 2012. He also claims credit for enabling “the major diplomatic success of [the] Iranian nuclear and sanctions agreement.”

Langman’s tenure at the UK Foreign Office’s Counter-Proliferation Centre coincided with a surge in Western sanctions and covert operations against Iranian scientists.During that period, Israeli assassinations and sabotage intensified, while the US and EU imposed sweeping economic penalties.

Iran has long accused the IAEA of colluding with its adversaries. Officials inTehran have claimed the agency provided Israel with the identities of nuclear scientistsand intelligence about key facilities, which were bombed last month by Israeli and US forces.

On June 12, the IAEA accused Iran of violating the Non-Proliferation Treaty. Despite no evidence being presented that Tehran was pursuing a nuclear weapon, the following day Israel launched strikes targeting Iranian nuclear scientists and uranium enrichment facilities. Iran denied the accusations and retaliated.

The US joined the Israeli operation on June 22. The 12-day war ended last week in a US brokered ceasefire which has so far been upheld.

Tehran has since suspended cooperation with the IAEA, barred Director General Rafael Grossi from entering the country, and voted to end the routine monitoring of its nuclear sites. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei has accused Grossi of issuing a “biased report” that was used by Israel to justify its “unlawful” attack.

Russia has also condemned the agency’s role. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said IAEA data was used to plan the strikes, calling it “a colossal blow” to the watchdog’s credibility.

Kennedy labels US Democrats ‘war party’

The Health Secretary accused his former party of abandoning its core values in blind opposition to President Trump

US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has accused the Democratic Party of abandoning its values and transforming into a pro-war, pro-censorship force defined largely by opposition to President Donald Trump.

In a wide-ranging interview with conservative talk show host Tucker Carlson published Monday, Kennedy said the Democratic Party now instinctively reverses positions as soon as Trump adopts them.

“The Democrats were the anti-war party,” Kennedy said. “But as soon as [Trump] expressed his opposition to the Ukraine war, they became the war party.”

“They were the party of free speech,” he continued. “When President Trump started advocating for free speech… the Democrats became openly for censorship.”

Kennedy, a longtime Democrat who briefly ran as an independent candidate in 2024 before supporting Trump and joining his cabinet in early 2025, said he continues to champion the same principles but now faces opposition from former allies.

“These were people I was friends with my whole life and I have not changed… but the party has just a knee-jerk reaction against anything that is Trump,” he told Carlson.

Kennedy added that Democrats, once critical of the CIA and trade deals like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), shifted to support both once Trump voiced criticism. He also accused the party of undermining women’s sports, noting that his uncle, Senator Edward Kennedy, had helped write Title IX, a US federal civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination.

“You can go on and on with those examples, but President Trump is literally dictating the platform of the Democratic Party. Anything that he says, they’re going to be against,” he said, noting that this pattern reflects a deeper problem in American politics.

“You know that partisanship by its nature is dishonest and it is the enemy of democracy,” RFK Jr. warned. “And in George Washington’s farewell speech, he said that he was very frightened about the rise of the political party because they would become self-interested rather than patriotic.”

Kennedy, the founder of the anti-vaccine group Children’s Health Defense, has gained prominence in the US for questioning the safety and effectiveness of childhood inoculations and promoting the claim that they are linked to autism –a theory widely rejected by the scientific community.

He was also a vocal critic of the World Health Organization’s Covid-19 response measures, including lockdowns and the rapid rollout of experimental vaccines.

Despite his controversial reputation, Kennedy denies being opposed to immunization, noting that his own children have been vaccinated. He has repeatedly stated that he advocates for stricter safety testing and more rigorous studies. After Kennedy endorsed Trump, the president vowed to give him broad authority over healthcare policy, saying he would let Kennedy “go wild.”

Kennedy said most opposition to his policies as Health Secretary comes not from industry experts but from media and political operatives.“I get opposition from proxies to the industry. Yes. And I think the major opposition that I feel is from the mainstream media and from Democrats,” he said.

Rubio announces end to USAID programs

The foreign aid agency has failed to advance America’s interests, the US Secretary of State has said

Washington has formally shut down its foreign aid agency USAID, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced,branding the organization inefficient and a failure in its core mission.

Long the primary vehicle for funding political and development projects abroad, USAID had “fallen well below” its obligations to advance US interests, Rubio said in a statement on Tuesday. With more than $715 billion in inflation-adjusted spending over the decades,the agency promoted “anti-American ideals and groups,” including DEI, censorship, and regime change operations, while fostering an “NGO industrial complex,”he added.

”This era of government-sanctioned inefficiency has officially come to an end… As of July 1st, USAID will officially cease to implement foreign assistance,” Rubio stated, adding that the State Department has officially absorbed the agency’s functions.

US President Donald Trump launched the process of dismantling USAID shortly after returning to office in January, after accusing the organization – often criticized by conservatives as promoting liberal causes – of being run by “radical lunatics” and facilitating corruption “at levels rarely seen before.”

As part of Trump’s broader federal waste-cutting initiative, thousands of USAID employees were fired or placed on leave, and billions in aid contracts were frozen or scrapped entirely. The effort has been led by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a new body tasked with reducing bureaucratic overhead across federal programs.

The consequences of USAID’s closure have drawn concern from health experts and development advocates.

In addition to funding NGOs abroad, USAID played a key role in financing global healthcare programs. Critics warn its dismantling could have long-term effects on global health and development.

According to a study published Monday inThe Lancet, the funding cuts could result in over 14 million preventable deathsby 2030 from diseases such as HIV/AIDS and malaria. The authors noted that between 2001 and 2021, USAID-backed programs were estimated to have saved over 91 million lives in low- and middle-income countries.

Mexican drug cartel hacked FBI phone to kill informants – report

The incident took place during a US operation against the powerful criminal organization, the Department of Justice has revealed

A hacker working for Mexico’s most powerful drug cartel accessed the phone records and geolocation data of a senior FBI agent assigned to the US Embassy in the country, according to the latest report by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General.

The incident took place in 2018, when the FBI was working on a high-profile case gathering evidence against notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin Guzman Loera, nicknamed “El Chapo,” the longtime leader of the Sinaloa cartel.

The cyber operative hired by the gang also managed to tap into Mexico city’s CCTV network, allowing the cartel to monitor the agent’s movements and identify individuals he met with, some of whom were later intimidated or killed, the report stated.

Under Guzman’s leadership, the Sinaloa cartel became the main supplier of drugs to the US, trafficking vast quantities of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamines, and marijuana.

Guzman was arrested in Mexico in 2016 and extradited to the US. In 2019, a federal court in Brooklyn sentenced him to life in prison plus 30 years. He is now serving his sentence in ADX Florence, the most secure federal prison in the US.

His capture did not bring an end to the cartel; power shifting to other leaders and the flow of drugs north has continued unabated.

Recent advances in surveillance technology and their availability to criminal groups and “less-sophisticated nations” are now viewed as an “existential” threat by US intelligence agencies like the FBI and CIA, the DOJ report stated.

After returning to office in January, US President Donald Trump has taken a hardline approach toward Mexico’s role in the drug trade.

In one of his first moves, he designated several Mexican cartels, including the Sinaloa Cartel, as Foreign Terrorist Organizations — a move that could open the door to expanded military or intelligence operations.

Last week, the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on three Mexican financial institutions accused of laundering cartel money, presumably cutting them off from the American financial system.

Trump has also floated the possibility of missile strikes on cartel drug labs inside Mexico. Meanwhile, the CIA is reportedly conducting drone surveillance missions deep into Mexican territory to monitor cartel operations.

The policies have strained US–Mexico relations. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has criticized the lack of evidence behind some of Washington’s actions and warned against violating the country’s sovereignty.

Judicial Tyranny Strikes Again With Judge Blocking Trump’s Deportation of Haitians

If you thought that district judges meddling with Trump’s executive authority was over after the recent Supreme Court decision, one judge doesn’t seem to think it applies to him.

On Tuesday, Judge Brian M. Cogan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York blocked the administration’s plan to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than half a million Haitian nationals living in the United States. Haiti’s TPS designation was granted after a catastrophic earthquake in 2010. The idea was to give Haitians already in the U.S. a reprieve from deportation because of the dire situation back home.This ruling is yet another example of the judiciary overstepping its bounds and tying the hands of an administration trying to enforce the law and protect American interests.

The Department of Homeland Security, under Secretary Kristi Noem, announced plans to move up the expiration date for Haiti’s TPS designation from Feb. 3, 2026, to Aug. 3, 2025. The rationale was straightforward: conditions in Haiti have improved enough since the devastating 2010 earthquake that the original justification for TPS no longer holds.

“The environmental situation in Haiti has improved enough that it is safe for Haitian citizens to return home,” a DHS spokesperson said in a statement. “We encourage these individuals to take advantage of the Department’s resources in returning to Haiti, which can be arranged through the CBP Home app. Haitian nationals may pursue lawful status through other immigration benefit requests, if eligible.”

That’s not some radical position; it’s simply following the law as written, which requires that TPS be temporary and based on actual conditions in the home country.

But Cogan decided to be a king in a robe and claimed in his ruling that Noem’s decision “exceeded her authority” and violated the Administrative Procedure Act — a favorite tool of the left for blocking any executive action it doesn’t like.

He argued that Haitians with TPS had a “reasonable expectation” that their status would last until the original 2026 date and that the government’s move forced them to “start planning now if they have any hope of managing and surviving a possible return to Haiti.” In other words, the judge is saying that because these individuals have settled in — enrolling in schools, taking jobs, starting medical treatments — they’re entitled to stay until the very last day of their previously announced protection, regardless of changing circumstances.

I guess judges can just make things up now.

This is judicial activism, plain and simple.The law gives the executive branch the authority to determine when TPS is warranted and when it’s not. It doesn’t say that once a date is set, it’s set in stone, immune from any reassessment or policy shift. Yet here we are, with a federal judge substituting his judgment for that of the elected administration, all under the guise of “harm” to the migrants who, by definition, were never supposed to be here permanently.

The Biden administration, of course, set the 2026 expiration date, but the Trump administration recognized that conditions had improved and tried to bring some reality back into the process. For its trouble, it's accused of heartlessness and lawlessness, when in fact it's simply doing what the law requires: reassessing TPS as conditions change.

This ruling is a warning shot. It shows just how difficult it will be to restore order to our immigration system when activist judges stand ready to block any effort to enforce the law. The message to future administrations is that no matter how temporary a program is supposed to be, once it’s in place, the courts will do everything possible to make it permanent.

That’s not how our system is supposed to work, and it’s high time Congress and the executive branch push back against this judicial overreach. America deserves an immigration policy that puts its citizens first, not one that unelected judges with an open-borders agenda dictate.

Putin-backed effort saves Siberian tiger from extinction

The population of the big cat in Russia has increased to 750, according to the foundation started by the president

Russia’s population of Amur tigers, also known as Siberian tigers, is no longer under threat of extinction, the chair of the Amur Tiger Center announced on Wednesday.

The foundation was launched in 2013 by Russian President Vladimir Putin, a long-time supporter of protecting the endangered animals.

Over the past 13 years, conservation efforts have raised the number of the big cats in the Russian Far East fromaround 430 to 750, according to Konstantin Chuychenko.

”The goal set out in the national tiger conservation strategy has been achieved,” he told reporters at the Land of Big Cats exhibition in Moscow. Chuychenko encouraged the public to visit the Far East to see the animals in their natural habitat.

The Amur tiger is native to forests in Russia’s Far East and Northeast China. It is theworld's largest cat subspeciesandthe only one adapted to cold, snowy climates.

Despite progress in Russia, the Amur tiger remains classified as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), meaning it still faces a very high risk of extinction globally. A formal status change would require further international assessment.

Russia’s 750 Amur tigers live in protected areas and remote forests. Several hundred more are kept in zoos and wildlife parks around the world.

Ukraine responds to US suspension of military aid

Kiev has summoned Washington’s envoy after a reported halt of military deliveries

Ukraine has summoned the US chargé d’affaires in Kiev, John Ginkel, following reports that Washington had suspended deliveries of key weapons systems. Military experts and Western officials (CIA) all warn that the country cannot sustain conflict in the short term without continued military support. (The IC agencies in the West, are in total support of continuing this war with Russia, opposing Trump’s Admin demanding it stop.)

Several American media outlets, including The New York Times, Politico, and NBC News, reported on Wednesday that the US had paused shipments of Patriot missile interceptors, GMLRS rockets, Hellfire missiles, and thousands of 155mm artillery shells. NBC reported that some of the shipments had already arrived in Europe but were withheld from being transferred to Ukrainian forces. (Zelesky asked all these outlets for a full media assault on Trump because he won’t send weapons.)

According to a statement issued by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ginkel was “invited” to a discussion by Foreign Minister Andrey Sybiga on Wednesday.

During the talks, the Ukrainiansemphasized “the critical importance of continuing the deliveries of previously allocated defense packages,” particularly air defense systems. (They should buy them with their Billions they stole.)

The US envoy (Kellogg) was informedthat any “delay or procrastination in supporting Ukraine’s defense capabilities” would prolong the conflict.(That’s stupid, the war won’t continue, if they run out of weapons, they have no choice. Kiev itself has not honored any agreements thus far with Russia, and keep stopping the talks. They have been extending the war, imagining that the US will keep the war going. Ukraine’s Defense Ministry has not confirmed the pause. According to media reports, the Pentagon halted the deliveries after US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered a review of available weapons stockpiles, citing concerns over munitions depletion.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly has confirmed that some transfers had been paused following a Department of Defense assessment of global commitments, stating that“this decision was made to put America’s interests first.”

The latest reported suspension marks the second time that US President Donald Trump’s administration has withheld munitions from Kiev since he entered office in January.

Kiev has repeatedly voiced frustration over what it sees as dwindling US support from Washington.

Vladimir Zelensky met with US President Donald Trump at the NATO summit in The Hague last week, to demand more Patriot air defense systems but received no firm promises. Trump said the systems were “very hard to get” and that the US needed them for its own defense and for Israel. (I bet Kiev is missing old Joe right now.)

Russia has consistently condemned Western arm shipments to Ukraine, arguing that they only serve to prolong hostilities and lead to more bloodshed without affecting the inevitable outcome of the conflict.

She was referring to a brief interview Rutte gave Fox News on Wednesday.The NATO chief sought to diminish the role of the Russian foreign minister by claiming that he “has been foreign minister of Russia … since the birth of Jesus Christ. And since then, nothing… useful came out of his mouth.”

Halt to US military aid could spell doom for Kiev – Bild

The Ukrainian military could run out of key ammunition stocks by late summer, the German tabloid has claimed (Tough Shit)

The US decision to suspend its supply of weapons to Ukrainecould make Kiev’s situation dire in less than two months, the German tabloid Bild has reported, citing military experts.Without America’s support, the Ukrainian military would struggle to fight Russia in several major fields, the outlet stated.

Washington’s envoy to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, confirmed to Fox News on Wednesday that the decision to halt arms shipments was made as part of the “America first” policy. He also said that theUS needs to focus on maintaining its own “strategic defense capabilities” and particularly make sure that “we have enough Patriot missiles.”

Patriot missiles were included by several Western media outlets, including Politico and NBC News, among the categories of weapons that will no longer be sent to Kiev. The list also includes Stinger and AIM air-to-air missiles, hundreds of Hellfire and GMLRS systems, and thousands of 155mm artillery shells.

According to Bild, the lack of Patriot missilescould deal a particularly significant blow to Ukraine’s air defense capabilitiesas the US-made weapons are reportedly the only ones capable of intercepting Russian ballistic missiles.

Kiev’s forces have just enough western-supplied weapons tolast them until late summer, Bild reported, citing Carlo Masala, a political scientist and defense expert heading the Intelligence and Security Studies program at the Bundeswehr University of Munich.

After that, thesituation “will become critical,”Masala told the tabloid, adding that the Ukrainian military is heavily reliant on Western arms shipments.

US President Donald Trump has previously questioned the rationale behind endless aid to Ukraine. He also made no specific promises to Kiev at a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky on the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague last week.

NATO chief ‘totally understands’ US cutting off weapons for Ukraine

European members cannot provide enough military support to Kiev without Washington, Mark Rutte has said

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has said he “totally understands” the US prioritizing its own national interests, but stressed that European allies cannot continue backing Ukraine in its conflict with Russia without

support from Washington.

Rutte made the remarks in a Wednesday interview with Fox News, responding to reports that Washington has scaled back critical military aid to Kiev, including deliveries of air defense ammunition, missiles, and artillery shells.

“I totally understand that the US always has to make sure that their own interests are covered,” the NATO chief said, butargued that “flexibility” was needed.

“In the short term, Ukraine cannot do without all the support it can get when it comes to ammunition and to air defense systems,” Rutte stated.

When it comes to the burden shift from the US to Europe, that’s taking place, but we cannot do without the practical US support.

According to Matthew Whitaker, Washington’s envoy to NATO, the cut in US aid to Ukraine is part of President Donald Trump’s domestic-focused policy shift.

“This is what ‘America first’ looks like,” he told Fox News on Wednesday. The Pentagon needs to “make sure that the US has the strategic defense capabilities necessary to project power,” Whitaker stated.

The US president has previously criticized the hundreds of billions of dollars in aid sent to Ukraine under his predecessor Joe Biden. Trump has instead pushed for peace talks,while demanding that NATO allies take on a greater role in supporting Kiev and increase their own military spending.
