Kimberly Guilfoyle Set for Senate Hearing as Trump’s Pick for U.S. Ambassador to Greece
Kimberly Guilfoyle, a close ally of President Donald J. Trump, is set to appear before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on July 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., as part of her confirmation process to become the next U.S. Ambassador to Greece. Upon Senate confirmation, Trump is expected to officially appoint her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America.
Amid reports in the Greek press suggesting a hold-up in her appointment, the U.S. State Department has issued a rare and direct rebuttal, categorically denying any such complications.
In an exclusive statement to TO BHMA and tovima.com correspondent Petros Kasfikis, a State Department spokesperson described the media claims as “inaccurate.”
“They are not accurate,” the spokesperson said. “The State Department looks forward to Kimberly Guilfoyle advancing the ‘America First’ agenda in foreign policy, in her role as U.S. Ambassador to Greece.”
