14 injured in skydiving plane crash

Narrative:
A Cessna 208B Supervan 900, N716MM, sustained substantial damage when it impacted trees atCross Keys Airport (17N), Cross Keys, New Jersey.
A pilot and fourteen skydivers were onboard and fourteen received injuries (three critical).
The aircraft took off from runway 27 at 17:19 hours local time. Shortly afterward the pilot reported engine problems. An attempt was made to turn back the the airport, but the aircraft crashed.
ADS-B data show that the aircraft approached runway 27 and flew an orbit in order to lose altitude. The final datapoint was on final approach to runway 27 at 17:23.
A video of the accident scene shows that the aircraft came down in trees past the end of runway 27.
The airport features one runway designated 9/27 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,500 by 50 feet. The airport elevation was 162 ft.
