We have a generation of stem students who graduated during Covid and the "woke" thing. They could not get entry level jobs because of H1-B's and the hiring, if they could get hired, of experienced tech people let go due to the above who took lower level, lower paying jobs. You could have people with more than five years experience applying for the entry level jobs.
Years of studying and money spent washed away for the sake of profit- profit over and above what is normal. Now these people may face a double whammy because of the BBB. No medical coverage because technically, they can work. In reality, the work they can get is way, way below their skill levels.
Did Trump care to press Senator Grassley on H1-B's? There is a lot of finance, banking, insurance business in Des Moines. Grassley won't do anything about it.
