This is a longish exposure time on the camera as it was dark at 4am. Keep that in mind.

Well I have a camera that could make this exact scene. It's got a feature called live composite. Takes one exposure and then adds only NEW light to the frame w/variable exposure time capability. As an example.
It's a short cut to doing long exposures without need for ND filters and avoids overexposure/hot spots.
