Israel covered up Iranian hits on military sites – Telegraph

Successful missile attacks on air bases, a logistics hub, and an intelligence center were censored, the outlet claims

Israel concealed that Iranian missiles hit several key military sites across the country during the recent 12-day war, The Telegraph reported on Saturday, citing radar data.

The data, provided to the British paper by Oregon State University researchers who track bomb damage using satellite radar, indicates that six Iranian missiles hit five military facilities in the north, south, and center of Israel, including a major air base, an intelligence gathering center, and a logistics base. The extent of the reported damage is unclear.

However, the hits were not publicly reported due to heavy military censorship, according to the report. When pressed on the issue, the Israel Defense Forces, declined to comment, only saying that “all relevant units maintained functional continuity throughout the operation.”

Analysis cited by The Telegraph suggests that Israeli and US air defenses generally performed well, intercepting most of the incoming fire, although the share of missiles that penetrated through Israeli defenses rose to about 16% by the seventh day. The paper noted that this could have been linked with Israeli attempts to conserve ammunition, improved tactics by Iran, or the deployment of more advanced and harder-to-intercept weaponry.

The conflict began on June 13 when Israel launched airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, top Iranian commanders, and military sites, triggering retaliation by Tehran. Israeli officials reported 29 deaths and over 3,200 injuries, while Iran estimated over 900 deaths and 4,700 injuries.

The US eventually joined the conflict by deploying heavy bombers against key Iranian nuclear sites. After a ceasefire was reached, both sides proclaimed victory.

Police clashed with demonstrators outside an asylum center near Madrid following the rape of a young woman by a man of Mali origin

Anti-migrant protesters in Spain clashed with police after a man of Malian origin was detained on charges of raping a young local woman. The unrest broke out on Friday night outside a migrant center in Alcala de Henares, a suburb of Madrid.

Police earlier arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the brutal rape of a Spanish woman of the same age near the center last weekend. The suspect allegedly beat and sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing. However, he was subsequently identified based on surveillance footage as one of the asylum seekers living in the migrant center. He has been placed in provisional detention without bail.

Around 300 people joined the protest to support the rape victim outside the migrant center late on Friday. Footage posted online showed demonstrators pushing against police lines near the facility, where some 2,000 migrants are reportedly housed, calling for its closure and for changes to migration laws.

Protesters carried banners denouncing “uncontrolled” immigration, including signs reading “Intruders, get out!” They also chanted insults at Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, criticizing his pro-migration stance.

When reality does not mesh with the “narrative,” the left’s standard tactic is to turn to censorship, and the French left is no different. The French Greens and other left-wing parties now want to make sure that news stories are not used for ideological purposes by the “far right,” claiming that certain media outlets are causing a “moral panic” around immigration due to migrant murders.

According to a parliamentary amendment tabled on June 25, 2025, by a group of Green and left-wing MPs in the National Assembly, news stories of actual events that have happened, and actual lives lost, are being improperly used by the right.

Another post from the French Observatory for Journalism ,wrote: “BREAKING NEWS | Green and left-wing deputies submit an amendment to REDUCE the coverage of crime stories in PUBLIC media. The authors believe these stories are used for ‘political exploitation;’ the text cites the murders of Lola and Thomas.”

The amendment calls for public media outlets to “conduct an editorial review of the role of news stories in news coverage.”

French National Rally parliamentary leader, Marine Le Pen, wrote in response to the new amendment.

Britain Reestablishes Full Diplomatic Relations with Syria

Britain reestablished full diplomatic relations with Syria on Saturday, more than a decade after cutting ties, as Foreign Secretary David Lammy met the country’s new leader Ahmed al-Sharaa in Damascus.

In 2011, Britain was among the first countries to acknowledge rebel groups as the official Syrian government after then-president Bashar al-Assad’s crushing of pro-democracy protests plunged the country into civil war.

London also joined sanctions against Syria and later closed its embassy in Damascus, going on to launch air strikes on Assad’s forces.

Assad was ultimately toppled in December after more than 13 years of fighting by a rebel offensive led by Sharaa, now Syria’s interim president.

“The UK is reestablishing diplomatic relations because it is in our interests to support the new government to deliver their commitment to build a stable, more secure and prosperous future for all Syrians,” Lammy said in a statement.

Photos released by Sharaa’s office showed him and Lammy meeting alongside Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani.

Their discussions addressed “bilateral ties… and ways of strengthening cooperation, as well as regional and international developments”, the presidency said in a statement.

The Syrian foreign ministry issued a similar statement following a separate meeting between Lammy and Shaibani.

Police Arrest ‘Palestine Action’ Protesters Following Ban as Terrorist Group by British Government

Dozens of protesters supporting Palestine Action were arrested in London on Sunday as they demonstrated in defiance of the British government’s move to classify the group as a proscribed terrorist organisation.

Following failures to legally challenge the terrorist classification, which prohibits people in the UK from supporting the group in any regard, supporters of Palestine Action gathered in London’s Parliament Square outside the House of Commons.

Protesters were seen waving placards with the message: “I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action”.

The demonstration prompted at least 20 arrests from the Metropolitan Police, which said in a statement per Sky News: “The group is now proscribed and expressing support for them is a criminal offence… Arrests are being made.”

Earlier this week, Members of Parliament backed the government’s call for a ban on the group by a margin of 385 votes in favour to just 26 against.

Thus, Palestine Action is now on the same legal level as other banned Islamist terror groups like al Qaeda, ISIS, and Hezbollah. Those found to be members or supporters of the group now face up to 14 years in prison. Even wearing t-shirts or other symbols of the group can be punishable with up to six months behind bars.

While the group attempted to launch legal challenges at the High Court and the Court of Appeals, they were ultimately shot down, paving the way for the ban to come into effect at midnight on Saturday.

The move to ban Palestine Action came in the wake of members breaking into the Royal Air Force (RAF) Brize Norton station in Oxfordshire on June 20 and spray painting two Voyager aircraft. It has been alleged that their actions resulted in at least £7 million in damages.

The group has previously claimed responsibility for other vandalism, including at President Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf course in Scotland in March.

Other targets have included various defence contractors in Britain, which Palestine Action have claimed are supporting Israel’s war effort against the jihadist Hamas group in Palestine. Over the past five years, Palestine Action is alleged to have caused up to £55 million in damages during 356 attacks against defence firms and the British government.

According to The Times of London, Palestine Action founder Huda Ammori told supporters at a meeting on Friday that the group plans to ramp up their street presence to “make the ban unenforceable”.

“We will be resisting through the courts and we will take this the whole way. It is only the start. It is only the beginning. We will defeat this,” she said, adding: “We know how much support there is for Palestine Action. If they think we will clock off at midnight, then I think they are delusional.”

Feds Breeding Billions of Flies, Planning to Dump Them on Texas and Mexico

The federal government is currently breeding billions of sterile screwworm flies in an effort to combat a deadly parasite that targets livestock and wildlife across parts of Texas and Mexico.

The multinational project, which has been active for decades, is being expanded with new infrastructure built to combat a growing threat posed by the screwworm fly.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is overseeing the program with support from Mexico, utilizing specialized fly production and sterilization facilities.

According to CBS News, the USDA plans to build a new $8.5 million insect dispersal center in Texas while converting a site in southern Mexico to handle increased production of flies that are incapable of reproducing.

These steps are being taken as part of a sterile fly output strategy that is expected to continue through 2026.

Roughly 117 million flies are produced and sterilized each week at a laboratory in Panama. The insects are then shipped to release zones in the southern U.S. and Central America.

Fox News reported that after sterilization, the flies are separated by sex and chilled for easier handling.

Female flies are less effective fliers and are largely excluded from airborne drops.

The sterile screwworms are released from planes over affected areas in hopes of overwhelming and eradicating wild populations.

By using sterile flies, the wild population is unable to reproduce, leading to its eventual collapse.

The technique has been credited with eliminating the screwworm from the country in previous decades, but the parasites continue to pose a risk due to their presence in South America.

As CBS noted, the operation could be crucial in preventing outbreaks, such as one that occurred in Florida, where over 130 endangered deer died in 2016 before authorities brought it under control.

On June 24, Forbes reported that the U.K. is facing a massive transfer of wealth out of the country, “the largest single-year exodus of wealth ever recorded.”

Projections indicate 16,500 high-net-worth individuals — those whose “liquid investable wealth [is worth] $1 million or more” — are seeking residency in other countries.

Founder of Apex Capital Partners Nuri Katz helps people like this by offering guidance should they wish to relocate.

Katz stated this shift doesn’t signal that the upper class is fleeing in terror so much as it is making a backup plan that can be used when needed.

“These people are not actually leaving the U.K. They are simply getting paperwork in different countries, but aren’t necessarily making the move,” Katz clarified.

“To have one million dollars in liquid assets, basically money in the bank, generally you’d have to be worth close to $10 million,” he explained of the criteria to be considered a high-net-worth individual.

Forbes, citing the study released by Henley & Partners, wrote that only 30 percent of high-net-worth individuals “opt for investment migration programs,” with most choosing “work visas, ancestry visas, retirement visas, family visas, or … birthright second passports.”

“At stake is a profound shift in economic influence,” the outlet reported.

Whatever the case, it’s a strong sign that those individuals with the means are looking for a better life.

The U.K. has spiraled downward, almost becoming a police state where its people are arrested over the most absurd and trivial matters.

In October 2023, a woman was interrogated by police and initially received a fine that was later reduce to a warning for silently praying outside an abortion clinic.

Earlier this year, two parents were arrested in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, for questioning the administration at their daughter’s school.

The country has history of arresting people for memes and opinions posted online, as well.

All the while, U.K. officials and police covered up roving bands of foreign Muslim men raping young girls.

When those British citizens with the means to live elsewhere see this, why would they plan for a future where they stay?

The U.K.’s policies have deep, lasting results. Investing in the economy, starting businesses, and hiring could obviously suffer with a wealth drain.

Although the United States is by no means in the clear, President Donald Trump’s victory in November represented salvation after being on the brink of becoming another U.K. or worse. One can only imagine that “President Kamala Harris” would have taken us there.

Israeli Special Forces Landed Few Kilometers Away From Syrian Capital

Early on July 4, Israeli special forces landed from helicopters and conducted a lengthy raid near Yafour, a resort town located some ten kilometers to the west of the Syrian capital, Damascus, according to Syrian media.

The special forces, who were transported by at least three helicopters, landed at a base of the Republican Guards, an elite formation of the former Syrian Arab Army, in the outskirts of Yafour. They reportedly operated there for around five hours before withdrawing.

At around the same time, the presence of Israeli special forces was reported at the town of Rakhlah, which is located ten kilometers to the west of Yafour, right on the border with Lebanon. Troops were also sighted in Jandal Castle, ten kilometers to the south of Rakhlah.

All in all, the available information indicates that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a large-scale raid, deploying special forces from air and land in the triangle between Yafour, Rakhlah and Jandal Castle.

Yafour was the main residence of many of the Assad regime’s top officials, including Maher, the brother of former president Bashar. Several key bases, which used to host air defenses among other military equipment, are also located in the area where the IDF was operating.

The large-scale raid came following reports of major advance in talks between Israel and Syria’s Islamists Interim Government, with a peace deal being within reach. Interim President Ahmad al-Sharaa is said to have agreed to give the country’s claim to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Since the fall of the Assad regime last December, the IDF has conducted hundreds of operations in Syria, destroying nearly all of the country’s military capabilities in strikes and raids.

Despite the lack of any reaction from Syria and the major concessions its new Islamists rulers are making, Israel does not appear willing to scale down its military operations in the country even a bit as a gesture of good will.

Syria Wants To Annex Parts Of Lebanon In Exchange For Peace With Israel – Reports

Syria wants to annex parts of Lebanon in exchange for relinquishing part of the occupied Golan Heights to Israel, Hebrew media reported on July 4.

The reports coming out from Israel, which claim that there are currently two proposals on the table, say that Syria is eyeing city of Tripoli, along with other areas in northern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley the east of the country.

Syria’s Islamist-led Interim Government is demanding the return of one-third of the Golan Heights territory that Israel occupied before the 1974 disengagement agreement, according to the reports.

i24NEWS quote source said to be close to Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa as saying that “the return of parts of the Golan Heights … is critical for domestic public opinion to support such a step”.

The source added that Israel must return one-third of the territory it captured before 1974, stating: “There is no such thing as peace for free.”

In one of the two proposals currently being discussed, Israel would annex one-third of the Golan, return one-third to Syria, and lease the remaining third from Damascus for 25 years.

The second scenario would, however, see Israel keep two-thirds of the Golan Heights and return the remaining third to Syria, also under a potential lease arrangement. In this version, Syria would also be granted control over Tripoli parts of the Bekaa Valley.

According to i24NEWS’ source, Syria wants to restore sovereignty over the Sunni-majority Tripoli, calling it “one of five regions severed from Syria during the French Mandate to establish the Lebanese state”.

This proposed settlement would also involve transferring Tripoli and surrounding predominantly Sunni areas to Syria, in exchange for permitting Israel to construct a pipeline from the Euphrates River as part of a trilateral water-sharing agreement with Turkey and Syria, the source added.

The source also claimed that Sharaa had shown “unprecedented openness” and had opened direct communication channels with Israel for security and military coordination in southern Syria.

He emphasized that reigning parts of the occupied Golan, along with other Syrian territories seized by Israel after the fall of former President Bashar al-Assad last December, was essential for winning domestic support for any peace agreement. Without it, Sharaa could face internal resistance, he warned.

Even if Syria was able to secure the support of many Sunnis in Tripoli, the Lebanese government would never let go of any of its territories. Thus, the execution of any such agreement will require Sharaa to go to war against Lebanon.

Even with support from Israel and the United States, this won’t be an easy task for Syria as the Lebanese, especially Shia, Alawites and Christancs are guaranteed to put on a fight.

All 444 Maricopa County Tabulators Failed EAC Standards in 2022 Election, Group Claims

Every ballot tabulator in Maricopa County’s 2022 election failed to meet Election Assistance Commission (EAC) standards, with all 444 machines experiencing ballot reading errors exceeding the allowable .2 percent error rate, according to a video released by We the People AZ Alliance (WPAA), led by Shelby Busch. Despite litigation from Kari Lake, courts declined to order a new election.

The WPAA video highlights widespread issues with printers and tabulators during Arizona’s 2022 election, which saw significant tabulator misreads. Busch and her co-host Bryan Blehm, who previously represented Kari Lake in an election lawsuit, interviewed Dr. Walter Daugherity, a senior lecturer emeritus for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M, who graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in mathematics, and then later earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from Harvard University.

Daugherity, who worked with WPAA before on the 2022 election, and served as a witness on Lake’s and State Senator Mark Finchem (R-Buckeye)’s lawsuit over voting machines, said he became interested in the issue after analyzing Pima County’s 2020 election where he found that “nine or 10 precincts had more votes than registered voters.” He found the same thing after investigating Maricopa County, he said.

The professor said there is “almost zero percent transparency [with the machines].” He explained, “All we really know now is that ballots go into the machine and results come out, but we have no idea what goes on in between.” He said there should only be “100 lines of code” to read a ballot, not “millions.”

Daugherity said to change election results, it doesn’t need to involve a significant number of people, “it only takes one programmer.” He explained how the tabulators “spit the ballot back out” because the printers were programmed to print 19-inch ballots, but were fed 20-inch paper.

He expressed concern that NGOs have access to election computers. The nonprofit Center for Information Security (CIS) partners with the federal government’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) “to provide monitoring services for counties, school districts, things like that,” Daugherity said.

He said they rely on an “Albert sensor” that is “installed inside the firewall of the county” to detect hacking. The Albert sensor reports back to CIS both unauthorized attempts to enter the system as well as unauthorized traffic going out such as accessing porn sites.

Daugherity cited a ransomware attack that occurred on election computers in Lincoln County, Washington, which encrypted the files so they could not be accessed. The hacker demanded a ransom for a decryption key to unlock the systems. Daugherity said the county stopped using that computer system as a result.

“I don’t know if Maricopa County has partnered with the Center for Internet Security or not, but many counties across the country have, and that basically provides CIS this nongovernmental organization with access,” he explained.

Elon Musk has renewed his calls for the release of the unredacted Jeffrey Epstein files, responding with "Yes" to a MAGA activist's demand on X.

This renewed demand follows Musk's previous accusation, made weeks prior, that Donald Trump was mentioned in the sealed Epstein documents.

The tech billionaire's latest call came shortly after Donald Trump threatened Musk with government scrutiny and suggested he might have to "go back to South Africa."

Musk's initial claims about Trump's connection to the Epstein files stemmed from an earlier fallout over Donald Trump's "pork-filled" tax bill, which Musk criticised as pushing the US into "debt slavery."

Despite his earlier accusations, Musk later expressed regret for some of his posts about Donald Trump, stating they "went too far."

Hamas Submits 'Positive Response' To US-Backed Ceasefire As Pressure Mounts On Netanyahu

Hamas announced on Friday that it had delivered a "positive" response to the latest US-backed ceasefire and hostage release proposal for Gaza, stating it was ready to begin proximity talks with Israel "immediately" to resolve outstanding issues.

But just like with prior instances of being near the "goal line" - a phrase often heard during the Biden administration - Hamas has put forth several key conditions which could prove serious obstacles toward finalizing a deal. Still, global media is saying this is the closest the warring parties have been to reaching an agreement in a long time.

Israeli media, citing one mediation source, has said that one of Hamas’s main demands is clearer assurances about what happens if negotiations on a permanent ceasefire are not concluded by the end of the proposed 60-day truce.

The militant group's official statement said, "The movement has delivered its response to the brotherly mediators, which was characterized by a positive spirit."

"Hamas is fully prepared, with all seriousness, to immediately enter a new round of negotiations on the mechanism for implementing this framework," it added.

The current draft presented to Hamas says the ceasefire could be extended as long as both sides are negotiating in good faith, but Hamas reportedly wants that clause removed, fearing it gives Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu an opening to resume military action. This is precisely what ensued in March when a previous deal unraveled.

Instead, Hamas is pushing for language that guarantees negotiations on a permanent ceasefire will continue until a final agreement is reached, and this is something which Israel has resisted.

Meanwhile, pressure on Netanyahu continues to grow domestically, as The Times of Israel details:

Tens of thousands of Israelis are set to join hostage families at mass rallies on Saturday night to urge the government to reach a deal that will free all the remaining captives held in Gaza after Israel and Hamas accepted the outlines of a US truce deal.

The rallies will be held as the security cabinet gathers to discuss Hamas’s response to the emerging ceasefire-hostage deal, ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s trip to the White House on Monday.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum demanded a comprehensive deal to end the war and release the remaining 50 hostages, at least 28 of whom are dead, even as Israeli officials are reportedly working to see which living hostages to prioritize in the partial, phased release under discussion.
