I happen to live in a neighborhood that is between the North and South San Gabriel Rivers in West Georgetown/Leander/Liberty Hill Texas off of Ronald Wilson Reagan Boulevard.

Fortunately, my neighborhood is on a high bluff far above where those rivers could reach. So I feel my family and neighbors are safe.

The Hill Country of Central Texas gets floods every year in the Austin-ish area. But these are not normal floods we are experiencing right now. There is fuckery afoot here just like what happened in Western North Carolina.
