During lockdowns I think people learned how cheap it is to cook and how much better it tastes. Air fryers are the ultimate cheat code too. Also there are a lot more immigrant shawarma and Chinese food places Gen Z and Millennials go to. Fast food chain prices are off the rails expensive right now. 2-3x more than 9 years ago.
