A few years back my mother suffered a brain aneurysm while she was alone in her apartment. When we didn't hear from her we went over to check on her and found her unconscious. She was rushed to the hospital, but the neurosurgeon refused to operate saying we did Not know how long she had been down…That within 12 hours of the aneurysm it was safe to operate, and 48 hours after the aneurysm it was safe to operate…but in that 12-48 window it was too dangerous as she might spasm while on the operating table and die while under the knife….So since we did Not Know how long ago the aneurysm had happened we had to wait 48 hours to be safe! Well, at hour 40 she had a stroke and died….Had they operated she might have spasmed and died, or she might not have spasmed and lived, but in waiting she died anyway….
Q advises us to wait, be patient, wait till the time is right. In my life experiences that has almost never worked….Fortune Favors the Bold….
I am reminded of the cartoon, in which two vultures are sitting on a telephone wire looking down on the scene below, when one vulture turns to the other and says, "Patience my Ass, I'm gonna go down there and kill something!"
