Multi billion dollar settlements paid by banks and financial institutions to SEC and DOJ - then put into illegal / secret slush funds and doled out to favored Dem and liberal groups - look it up! Money was never given to treasury or victims of housing crises - stolen and used against us
A ton of money was paid under Hussein Administration but it was diverted and skimmed to slush funds they controlled. Issue is what the corrupt Hussein Admin. did with the money. Sure, banks could have been punished way more, but what they did fork over was looted by the people in power at the time who sure wanted to hang on for more to come under HRC
