If I were slanted toward conspiracy theories, I would say the whole Trump/Musk feud is fake and multi-faceted.
Elon had to publicly break with Trump to stop having every Tesla on the planet attacked. Trump, as a businessman, understands the need to protect the core business interests.
Now, with America Party, the MAGA faithful will not jump ship, so would America Party be the lure for moderate, traditional Democrats to finally leave the party that now caters to far left, socialist, and corrupt, career politicians.
So, if I was into the chess game of politics, I'd be looking for America Party to be the catalyst for the final destruction of the D party.
