I would like to be like everybody else, not care, have a quick attention span, short memory, and think everything's ok in the good 'ole USA.
Then I'll be able to go back to sleep, not care, be more selfish with my own life and think about myself and my stuff, and trust that my country's fine, and rest on the fact that foreign and domestic traitors are not trying to politically or physically destroy the country.
In reality the country is not OK and treason is happening in real time.
If I stand down then another group comes in, turns it upside down, then begins to memory hole everything and the country heads into the wrong direction.
Eternal vigilance is a real thing.
Who watches the watchers? I do.
