Afterward, make your way to your second snorkel stop — Little St James Island — where curious fish dart back and forth in the clear blue water, and colorful coral formations nestle next to amazing underwater formations.

The island, as well as another location, were included in the description of a third-party tour so that participants could identify the areas where snorkeling would be available," a statement from Disney read. "The tour had no connection to the island itself and Disney has never had plans involving the island.

FACT FOCUS: Posts maligning Disney lack evidence
Posts pointed to a website titled “Magical Kingdoms,” which included a description of a 3.5-hour Disney Cruise Line affiliated tour that included a “snorkel stop” at Little St. James Island among other stops around the islands.
However, Disney confirmed in an emailed statement that the tour, which is no longer running, did not involve a stop at the island and had no relationship to it.

In the midst of a blackout in the city of Cienfuegos, young Adrián Adolfo, known as "El Tronco," was murdered after shouting slogans against the Cuban regime. According to reports published on the Facebook site Crimes and Disappearances in Cuba, the incident occurred in front of his home, located near a building inhabited by military personnel.
Local sources claim that, following the young man's shouts of protest, a man identified as Efrén—presumably an active-duty police officer—came out of the military building and demanded that Adrián be quiet. When the young man refused, the man attacked him with a knife, causing fatal injuries.
Adrián died at the scene, according to testimonies gathered by neighbors.
This incident adds to a series of allegations of political repression and disproportionate use of force by actors linked to the state security apparatus. In Cuba, frequent blackouts have generated growing social unrest, sometimes resulting in spontaneous demonstrations. Authorities often respond to these expressions of discontent with surveillance, arrests, and, in some cases, outright violence.
The lack of independent mechanisms to investigate these incidents and the state's control of the judicial system contribute to a climate of impunity.
