I was watching Al Jazeera a few days ago, and they had a professor from Columbia university on there talking about that subject. He kept going on about free speech and that there was only a couple instances of violence against students. I literally stood up and yelled at the TV, "There shouldn't be any violence against students!"
I griped for a bit too while I was lost in it that day, was going to take my ball and go home as there was also other things contributing to that mood as well, then I remembered the oath I gave and felt guilty for leaving, then the next day the reasoning behind those moves started becoming clearer. All good, anon, there's nothing to forgive, because you did nothing wrong. Your reaction was not an anomaly, and also not unexpected.
