>Pam Bondi is a Scientologist.
Pam Bondi's Ties to Scientology Explained
Donald Trump's nominee for Attorney General Pam Bondi has held ties to the Church of Scientology at various points throughout her career.
Bondi made history in 2010 when she was elected as Florida's first female attorney general, a job she held until 2019.
During her tenure she accepted campaign contributions from Scientologists and attended multiple fundraisers organized by prominent members of the church.
A fundraiser for Bondi's reelection campaign in 2014 in Clearwater, Florida, was organized by six prominent Scientologists, the Tampa Bay Times reported at the time. Christina Johnson, Bondi's campaign spokeswoman, told the newspaper that Bondi was aware that Scientologists were staging the event.

The 8 Lawyers for Israel, after escaping the Lion’s den, have gone back for their hats
The Lawyers for Israel contempt application against Nine Entertainment’s The Age, Fairfax Media Publications, 2 journalists, 2 editors and 2 lawyers is back in court on Monday (14/7/25) at 9.15am.
In this article I will discuss the tactics the Lawyers for Israel are using and how it is about dodging financial and legal liability and how they are trying to transfer that liability to the Australian taxpayer.
Background
There are 8 or 9 lawyers from the Lawyers for Israel WhatsApp group who were granted suppression orders, at the start of the Antoinette Lattouf v ABC unlawful termination case, to suppress their names etc which show up in emails and other communications they sent to the ABC campaigning to have Antoinette Lattouf sacked.
They claimed they would be in danger if their names and details were made public because of their campaign to have Antoinette Lattouf sacked. But their names had been all over the media and social media for the previous 12 months so the horse had already bolted.
I think their request for suppression orders is more about the fact they don’t want the public to know how deceptive and dishonest they are as it would hurt their careers as lawyers and business interests etc.
Below is a copy of the suppression orders issued on 3rd of February 2025:

Mom Charged with Attempted Sex Trafficking of 7-Month-Old Daughter for $400
The mother-of-seven allegedly shared three photos of her infant daughter with a man through Snapchat – and then told the FBI that her account had been "hacked" and she no longer had access to it.
A communication through Snapchat triggered an FBI investigation into an Indianapolis mother-of-seven for an alleged sex trafficking attempt of her 7-month-old daughter, and ultimately led to her arrest.
When first confronted by federal agents on November 11, 2024, Morgan D. Stapp, 32, allegedly told them that her Snapchat account had recently been "hacked" and she no longer had access to it, according to court documents seen by CBS affiliate WTTV and Fox affiliate WXIN. She also said she was upset at the loss of photos of her seven children.
The woman then purportedly told them she'd received an email from the social media platform that her account had been permanently banned for suspected "online commercial sex transactions."
Later in the month, according to the outlet, she allegedly admitted to the Indiana Department of Child Services that she had lied to the federal agent about losing her Snapchat account because, "I wanted the FBI to leave."
After that unproductive initial interview with Stapp, the FBI reached out to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department in December for assistance in the case.
An IMPD detective was able to acquire a search warrant to investigate Stapp's Snapchat account and subsequently found selfies of her that had been saved to the account after her FBI interview. That suggested that she still had access to and control of the account.
Further digging found that the account had sent over 7,000 messages over a three-day span in November, shortly before Snapchat reached out to the FBI and the government agency launched its investigation.
One message was repeated 81 times in that barrage: "Would you be interested in buying my nudes so I can get baby diapers?" Stapp's account also reportedly added 400 other accounts during this same three-day span.

Multiple arrested in child predator investigations
New information has been released regarding an organized and major crimes task force child predator investigation in Pike County, according to Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman.
Thoroughman said he worked alongside Ohio Attorney General David Yost, Portsmouth Police Chief Debby Brewer, New Boston Police Chief Carl Compton, Scioto County Prosecuting Attorney Shane Tieman, Pike County Sheriff Tracy Evans, Pike County Prosecuting Attorney Michael A. Davis, and Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless in multiple operations and investigations targeting child sexual exploitation over the past several months.
In late summer of 2024, Sean Spellman was arrested for the distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including content involving infants, in a joint investigation, Thouroughman said.
He said Spellman was sentenced to 16 to 20 years in prison.
Other online sting operations occurred in fall of 2024, leading to the arrests and convictions of Michael Waugh, Larry Zehm, Carl Loper, and Brad Peters, according to Thoroughman.
Thoroughman said all were charged with attempting to engage in or purchase sex from minors, and that all were prosecuted and sentenced in Pike County.
On April 16, 2025, Kyle Rhoades was sentenced to 16 to 20 years after a joint investigation into his possession of CSAM, he said.
Additional indictments were made in the spring of 2025, issued against Byron Myers and Joseph Keeney for allegedly attempting to solicit sex from a minor, Thoroughman said.
In another case, Joseph Heflin, of Marble Falls, TX, traveled to Pike County, intending to meet a child and transport her out of state, according to Thoroughman.
He said the case has drawn attention from both the FBI and Texas law enforcement.
In July 2025, Thoroughman said authorities uncovered an attempt to produce CSAM involving children as young as 10.
Thoroughman said this led to the arrest of Clayton Huber Pender, of Twiggs County, GA, on July 3, 2025, following a collaboration between Pike County investigators and the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office.

Man Arrested For Sex Crimes At School In Fair Lawn Also Substituted At Ridgewood
A man arrested for allegedly masturbating inside a Bergen County middle school used to substitute teach in Ridgewood, an official confirmed.
A former Fair Lawn School District employee who was arrested Wednesday for allegedly masturbating in a middle school building had also served as a substitute teacher in at least one other Bergen County district, an official confirmed Thursday.
John C. Stewart, 33, of Midland Park was charged with second-degree sexual assault by sexual contact and several other charges, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office late on Wednesday.
On Thursday, a spokesperson for the Ridgewood Public Schools responded to a question from Patch, confirming that Stewart was a former substitute teacher in the district for two years. However, he was not employed there recently, she said.
"Mr. Stewart was not an employee of our district and did not substitute here in 2024-2025," said the district spokesperson on Thursday. "However, he did substitute here from the spring of 2022 until June of 2024."
The district will provide a full statement later today, she noted.

Queens man, 63, allegedly raped 14-year-old boy — and authorities fear he may have more victims
A Queens sicko was busted for allegedly raping a 14-year-old boy — and slipping him a $50 bill after the disturbing encounter — and now authorities fear he may have additional child victims.
Virgilio Taveras, 63, was charged with second-degree rape and other sex offenses after he allegedly lured the teen into his car and sexually assaulted him near the intersection of 175th Street and Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica, Queens around 1 p.m. on July 1, according to the criminal complaint.
The child told police he was walking along 171st Street when Taveras pulled up slowly in a silver sedan, honked several times, and offered him a job in construction if he got into the car, court documents revealed.
Once the boy got in, the alleged predator allegedly sped off, asked about his dating life, and told the youngster he was attractive before abruptly pulling over and assaulting him.
The accused creep then slipped a $50 bill into the minor’s pocket as he exited the car, according to the complaint.

Council of Europe 'alarmed' by reports of draft-related Ukrainian deaths and torture
In his latest update on the situation in Ukraine published this week, the Council of Europe's commissioner for human rights, Michael O'Flaherty, expressed concerns about "systematic and widespread" abuse committed by Ukrainian draft officials.
The commissioner said he'd seen "alarming" reports that include "allegations of torture and death during military recruitment." The official urged Ukraine's authorities to promptly investigate all alleged instances of abuse and take measures to prevent similar violations, including independent oversight of recruitment officials' behavior, he said.
O'Flaherty cited a statement by Ukraine's Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmitry Lubinets, who also noted that human rights abuse committed by draft officials was "systematic and widespread." The list of these violations includes "beatings, brutal arrests, denial of access to a lawyer, incommunicado detention, mobilization of people with disabilities and other unacceptable acts," the report stated.
In an April interview with political commentator Ben Shapiro, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky denied that abuse is "massive," insisting that it was limited to "singular cases." He asserted that the main problem was people evading mobilization through bribes, while neglecting to touch upon allegations of beatings and torture.
Ukraine expanded its conscription criteria last year amid heavy battlefield losses, lowering the legal draft age from 27 to 25, while increasing the power of military recruiters. The mobilization campaign, which is overseen by Ukraine's Territorial Centers of Recruitment and Social Support (TCR), has drawn widespread public criticism.
Numerous videos circulating online show enlistment officers chasing would-be recruits in the streets, commonly backed by civilian police. Reluctant draftees are sometimes threatened with military-grade weaponry and often beaten, along with any bystanders who attempt to intervene.
Earlier this week, a video surfaced online showing an elderly woman trying to prevent military recruiters from detaining her son. The woman was seen clinging to the windshield of a van and screaming. A witness filming the scene claimed the vehicle belonged to military recruiters and that her son was inside. According to Strana.UA, the woman soon felt unwell and died in an ambulance.
A February report by Strana.UA suggested that 80% of Ukrainians had a negative view of the TCR. Meanwhile, the head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrey Kovalenko stated this week that ordinary citizens were providing the coordinates of local TCR offices to the Russian military.

Israel urging US to resume strikes on Yemen’s Houthis, form broad coalition — report
Jerusalem said to tell Washington that attacks on ships in Red Sea ‘can no longer remain solely an Israeli problem’; Houthis launch a second missile Thursday, which falls short of Israel
Amid intensified attacks by Yemen’s Houthis on maritime traffic, Israel has asked the United States to renew military operations against the rebels, Israeli television reported Thursday.
The Iran-backed Houthis — who control large swathes of Yemen but are not the country’s internationally recognized government — reached a ceasefire agreement with the US in May, and then stopped their attacks on commercial ships for some two months. This week, however, they attacked and sank two vessels, killing at least four people.
Israel has told the US that ongoing Houthi assaults on shipping “can no longer remain solely an Israeli problem,” the Kan public broadcaster reported.
Jerusalem called for “more intense combined attacks against Houthi regime targets — not just [Israeli] air force fighter jet strikes, but also a renewal of American attacks and the formation of a coalition including additional countries,” a source familiar with the matter told the outlet.
An unnamed security official told Kan that Israel’s request for US involvement came in response to expanding Houthi aggression, saying: “A broad coalition is needed to convey to the Houthi regime that it is in danger.”

Terror not terror
Israel's 'friends' have forgotten why we hired them
Diaspora generosity is heroic, but too many of the institutions that collect our money have lost the plot, padding paychecks, upgrading seats, and hoarding cash.
If you needed one sentence to sum up this week’s column, here it is: Diaspora generosity is heroic, but too many of the institutions that collect our money have lost the plot, padding paychecks, upgrading seats, and hoarding cash, while Israelis in genuine need wait.
Four years ago, sitting at my Makor Rishon desk with a stack of Form 990s, I stumbled on a line that made me almost fall off of my chair: The CEO of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces was taking home more than $1 million a year – more than the charity gave, annually, to the widows and orphans of IDF soldiers.
That discovery became my 2021 exposé on the FIDF’s decision to cut every shekel of its grant to the IDF Widows and Orphans Organization. I wrote then that something in the culture felt “toxic.” It turns out, the smell only got stronger.
Fast-forward to July 2025. An 18-page internal probe, leaked to Ynet and later obtained by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, accuses FIDF board chair Morey Levovitz of running the charity like a personal fiefdom: steering contracts to friends, sidelining professional staff, and racking up roughly $53,000 in luxury-travel reimbursements that may violate the group’s own rules. The San Francisco chapter, one of the FIDF’s most generous donor pools, has frozen contributions in protest.
This is not okay. Why? Because donors thought their gifts were racing to the front lines. Instead, almost half of last year’s $280 million windfall, raised after Hamas’s October 7 massacre, never left the FIDF’s bank account. Consultant Arnie Draiman called it “a hurricane outside and a rainy-day fund inside.” Meanwhile, grassroots groups crowd-funded basic helmets for reservists.
The FIDF’s response will one day be taught as textbook crisis public relations: hire a white-shoe law firm, bring in a communications agency, and promise to “reinforce policies.” Necessary steps, yes, but donors are asking a more straightforward question: Why should a charity dedicated to soldiers need an 18-month compliance overhaul before buying soldiers what they actually ask for?
The ‘Friends-of’ problem
The FIDF is hardly alone. In January 2024, the American Society for Yad Vashem, for decades the Holocaust museum’s primary US fundraiser, quietly posted a banner on its homepage: “Effective January 1, 2024, the ASYV is no longer affiliated with Yad Vashem.” The split followed a bitter battle over an $80 million endowment that the ASYV’s board says Yad Vashem chairman Dani Dayan tried to “raid.”
