then i realize, "o, they do that with GMO."
sadly, anon has been in the clearwater area for large swaths of anon's life.
can't do that without crossing paths with scientologists. like freemasons, the rank-and-file are just folks often insecure, sometimes weird due to their recruiting targets but members of the community nonethess.
anon volunteered with a republic prez campaign back in the day. learned from the old hands that scientologists were solid conservatives, pro family (and family rights), not fond of public " government" schools, etc etc etc check off all the boxes.
they're citizens, they vote. they have loads of money.
weirdness and skeletons-in-the-closets notwithstanding.
