Question for Christian Patriots: I know that group prayer with other religions is considered "syncretism" and is not good. I know that in masonry, people from different religions all pray together to God as they believe and that is seen as not good in Christianity. My question is, if a Catholic asks to pray with you, as a Christian, should you say no thanks? And then explain that Christianity and Catholicism are two very different religions?

Thank you for your input. The reason I asked is because today I heard First Lady Melania Trump say that she got together and prayed with some of the parents who lost their daughters at the Christian Camp in Texas. I know that Melania is a practicing Catholic, so I was trying to imagine what a Christian would do if Melania being Catholic, asked to pray with them. She's obviously well intentioned and that is such a heavy moment, I just wonder if there is an example of how a Christian would handle that situation.
