Why was Priestap (Strozk's boss) never put in the cross hairs? Why is he the only one in the entire fucking administration at the FBI in /that/ general reporting chain still on the job? I've never been able to give up on why Priestap is going unscathed - and the complete and total no-show by anyone here digging into his past.

2003? promoted to supervisory special agent in the Office of Congressional Affairs (OCA) at FBIHQ
2005: special assistant to the assistant director of the Directorate of Intelligence at FBIHQ

What would have likely had him directly involved in?
Who would any of the NY Field Office spoken to (off the record) with complaints about how a certain investigation was handled?
Who likely found out after-the-fact of the fuckery involved but was powerless to do anything?
BY FAR the best supporting circumstantial evidence that Priestap is:
1) /ourguy/
2) FBIAnon and quite possibly
3) a 'star witness' that's just 'itching' to fuck over those that quite nearly fucked over what is by all appearances at least, a stellar career by dropping him quite literally right in the middle of the whole shit show.
