I'm watching the Justice channel and saw 2 recreations in a row where a resident had to kill an intruder in their home…

Does home insurance pay for cleaning up the scene or is that out of pocket?
I like to know as many things ahead of time as possible ;
I would have never thought about not wiping. If I have to shoot someone in my living room…I sure wouldn't want to stay in the house until it's all cleaned, removed/redone. Just wondering if insurance covers a hotel & total decon & restoration. It would suck to have to eat all those costs for defending yourself from a stranger.
On one episode a few weeks ago I saw someone was fighting with their insurance company over the bill so I'm curious if that's standard these days.
