Moscow has dismissed a US media report claiming that Russian President Vladimir Putin urged Iran to accept a nuclear deal that would strip it of the right to enrich uranium, calling it a dirty ploy to stoke tensions in the region.

In a statement on Sunday, the Russian Foreign Ministry slammed Western outlets as a “tool” in the hands of the political establishment and “deep state,” which it said does not hesitate to resort to any means, including provocative acts and “fake news.”

Russian officials singled out the US outlet Axios, which it described as a “toilet tank” that consistently spreads targeted disinformation, mentioning in particular its recent article titled “Scoop: Putin urges Iran to take ‘zero enrichment’ nuclear deal with US, sources say.”

The Axios story, the ministry said, was “apparently yet another dirty, politicized campaign launched with the aim of escalating tensions around Iran’s nuclear program.” It also reiterated that Moscow’s position remains that the crisis around Iran’s nuclear program should be resolved “exclusively by political and diplomatic means.”

On Friday, Axios reported, citing European and Israeli officials, that Putin told both US President Donald Trump and officials in Tehran following the 12-day Israel-Iran war that he would support a nuclear deal involving “zero enrichment.”

One European official told the paper that Putin encouraged Tehran to move in this direction in order to aid talks with Washington, but noted that the Iranians declined to consider the idea.

Iran’s Tasnim news agency, citing sources, reported that Tehran had received no such messages from Putin.

The US has insisted that Iran commit to zero enrichment as part of a potential nuclear deal, a demand Tehran has dismissed as unacceptable, explaining it needs such capacity for its civilian nuclear program. Iran also maintains it has no plans to create a nuclear bomb.

Less than four months into its rule, Syria’s interim government is under mounting pressure, as each crisis—natural or security-related—casts doubt on its ability to govern and maintain control.

The recent wildfires that tore through northern Latakia were no seasonal accident. They broke out as sectarian killings escalated and suspicions of state complicity grew.

The blaze behind the purge

Never before in Syria had an armed group claimed responsibility for a natural disaster. That changed when Saraya Ansar al-Sunna announced it was behind fires that spread through the Qastal Ma'af region, explicitly stating that the arson attack “led to the fires spreading to other areas, forcing the Nusayris [Alawites] to flee their homes, and causing a number of them to suffocate.”

The statement came just three days into the blazes and only weeks after the same group had claimed responsibility for the June 22 bombing of Mar Elias Church in Damascus’ Douweila neighborhood.

That attack had sparked a rare public dispute between the Interior Ministry and Saraya Ansar al-Sunna. While the ministry blamed ISIS and paraded an arrested cell, the group named a different perpetrator, Muhammad Zain al-Abidin Abu Uthman. Despite vowing to release confessions to back its version, the ministry has remained silent.

Anas Khattab—former Al-Qaeda commander and Nusra Front co-founder, now serving as interior minister—only deepened the contradictions during his visit to the fire zone. He insisted there was "no evidence" of arson, even as his own ministry investigated suspects.

Khattab’s refusal to acknowledge Saraya Ansar al-Sunna suggests that Damascus still considers it a phantom—a position reinforced when ministry spokesman Noureddine al-Baba publicly dismissed it as “imaginary” during a press conference after the church bombing.

At the same time, some Alawites believe that Interior Minister Khattab is using Saraya Ansar al-Sunna to carry out attacks against Alawites, Christians, and other minorities, while maintaining plausible deniability.

And why Saudi Arabia? Well, because Jeffrey Epstein, one of his main clients for the group that he set up in 1981, was Adnan Khashoggi.

Adnan Khashoggi was the CIA arms runner for the Iran-Contra affair when Congress blocked the U.S. federal government through a congressional law called the Bolan Amendment, with the Democrats controlling the House of Representatives, banning any U.S. funds from being directed to the overthrow of the Nicaraguan Sandinista government. And the Reagan White House and National Security Council and Central Intelligence Agency wanted to do it anyway. France: Far-Left LGBTQ+ Activist Accused of Running Darknet Pedophile Ring

A far-left LGBTQ+ activist in France is alleged to have been at the heart of an underground pedophile network that drugged and raped children as young as three years old.

Pierre-Alain Cottineau, a former candidate for the far-left La France Insoumise (LFI/France in Rebellion) party during the 2021 regional elections and a former head of an LGBTQ+ activist group, faces accusations of orchestrating a darknet child rape network.

French newspaper Le Parisien reported having obtained internal communications as well as video footage from Cottineau’s group, which the paper described as being “unbearably violent” and nausea-inducing.

This included footage of a young boy of two or three years old on a leash being anally raped by a group of men in an “awful orgy”.

The case was initially opened after Dutch police discovered footage of a young girl, likely three or four years old, calling out in French for her mother as a man was anally raping her. Adding to the “horror” of the footage, the young girl appeared to suffer from a disability, forcing her to have a gastric tube.

A screenshot of the victim’s face was passed to France’s Juvenile Office (OFMIN), which specialises in cases dealing with violence against children. A nursery school manager in Couffé said that she knew the identity of the child, a disabled girl who previously was in the care of social services but was later placed in the care of Pierre-Alain Cottineau, who had a daughter in the same class as the girl.

Cottineau was given custody of the girl after a sixty-hour training course and a criminal background check, which apparently did not raise any red flags.

Leftist Australian PM Albanese Visits China on Trade Mission

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese kicked off a visit this weekend to China meant to shore up trade relations between the two countries.

Albanese met with Shanghai Party Secretary Chen Jining on Sunday, the first in a series of high-level exchanges that will include meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang and Chairman Zhao Leji of the National People’s Congress.

The prime minister is leading “a very large business delegation” to China, which speaks to the importance of the economic relations between Australia and China, he told Chinese state broadcaster CGTN upon his arrival in Shanghai on Saturday.

During a weeklong trip, Albanese was set to meet business, tourism and sport representatives in Shanghai and Chengdu, including a CEO roundtable on Tuesday in Beijing, his office said.

He oversaw the signing of an agreement between Chinese online travel giant Trip.com and the government agency Tourism Australia aimed at attracting more Chinese tourists to the continent.

It is Albanese’s second visit to China since his center-left Labor Party government was first elected in 2022. The party was reelected in May with an increased majority.

Albanese has managed to persuade Beijing to remove a series of official and unofficial trade barriers introduced under the previous conservative government that cost Australian exporters more than 20 billion Australian dollars ($13 billion) a year.

Beijing severed communications with the previous administration over issues including Australia’s calls for an independent inquiry into the origins of and responses to COVID-19. But Albanese wants to reduce Australia’s economic dependence on China, a free trade partner.

“My government very much values our relationship with China,” Albanese said during his meeting with Chen. “We deal with each other in a calm and consistent manner, and we want to continue to pursue our national interests, and it is in our interest to have good relations with China.”

Chinese state-run Xinhua News Agency, in an editorial Saturday, described China´s relationship with Australia as “steadily improving” and undergoing “fresh momentum.”

“There are no fundamental conflicts of interest between China and Australia,” the editorial stated. “By managing differences through mutual respect and focusing on shared interests, the two sides can achieve common prosperity and benefit.”

Gazan health officials at Al-Awda Hospital said the strike that hit a water distribution point in Nuseirat refugee camp killed 10 people, including six children.

The IDF admitted it had erred while targeting of an operative from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group.

“Due to a technical malfunction in the munition, it struck dozens of meters away from the intended target,” the IDF said, adding that it had opened an investigation and that it “makes every effort to minimize harm to uninvolved civilians.”

Ramadan Nassar, a witness who lives in the area, told The Associated Press that around 20 children and 14 adults had been lined up to get water. He said Palestinians walk some 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) to fetch water from the area.

Water shortages in Gaza have worsened sharply in recent weeks, with fuel shortages causing desalination and sanitation facilities to close, making people dependent on collection centers where they can fill up their plastic containers.

More than a dozen people were also reported killed near an aid distribution site on Sunday, with eyewitnesses describing shots to victims’ heads and bodies. The Israeli military said its troops had fired warning shots, but that its review of the incident had found no evidence of anyone hurt by its soldiers’ fire.

John Durham’s investigation as Special Counsel passed on prosecuting ex-CIA chief John Brennan as well as a host of other key Russiagate figures, but there's a new sheriff in town.

Following a criminal referral by CIA Director John Ratcliffe last week, the decision on potentially charging the Obama spy chief will now rest with Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department that she oversees.

Ratcliffe's referral to FBI Director Kash Patel is related to possible criminality by Brennan, sources familiar with Ratcliffe's actions who declined to be named told Just the News this week, following a review by the CIA released last week. That report critiqued the actions taken by Brennan related to the baseless Trump-Russia collusion investigation, and it will likely be up to Bondi to decide if a criminal investigation — and prosecution — is warranted.

The CIA’s “lessons learned" review of the December 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment sharply criticized Brennan for joining with anti-Trump forces in the FBI in pushing to include British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s baseless anti-Trump dossier in the assessment. In Ratcliffe's review, the CIA also critiqued the “high confidence” assessment by the FBI and the CIA that Russian leader Vladimir Putin had “aspired” to help President Donald Trump win in 2016.

Brennan's potentially false statements

While the specifics of Ratcliffe’s criminal referral of Brennan to the FBI were not immediately made public, it is likely that it has to do with Brennan’s potentially false statements to Congress about the ICA and the Steele dossier. Brennan spoke with Special Counsel John Durham in August 2020 and testified before the House Judiciary Committee in May 2023. Given a five-year statute of limitations, he could be in the crosshairs of law enforcement action until August of this year or until May 2028, respectively.

Lying to Congress whether under oath or not can be a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. §1001, which forbids making false statements to any branch of the federal government. The statute of limitations of five years starts to run when the crime is completed, which is when the false statement is made or the false document is submitted. Thus, any false statements Brennan allegedly made five years ago or more would not be prosecutable.

IDF missile misfire kills six children, injures 17 at aid site in Gaza Strip - report

The strike was intended for a PIJ target, but misfired and hit a water distribution point in Nuseirat refugee camp.

At least eight Palestinians, most of them children, were killed and more than a dozen others were wounded in central Gaza on Sunday, Hamas-affiliated officials said, in an Israeli missile strike which the military said missed its intended target.

The IDF said it had intended to hit a Palestinian Islamic Jihad militant in the area but that a malfunction had caused the missile to fall "dozens of meters from the target."

"The IDF regrets any harm to uninvolved civilians," it said in a statement, adding that the incident was under review.

The strike hit a water distribution point in Nuseirat refugee camp, killing six children and injuring 17 others, said Ahmed Abu Saifan, an emergency physician at Al-Awda Hospital.

In addition to their mission in the Mount Dov sector, the unit has discovered military equipment and more than three tons of ammunition, including anti-tank mines, dozens of explosives, and rockets.

In February, Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank assaulted and detained Ballal, co-director of the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land, an attack that Ballal’s co-director Basel Adra suggested might be “revenge on us for making the movie”.

Even though the Academy had recognised Ballal’s work with an Oscar merely weeks before, it refused to condemn Israel’s actions, issuing only a vague statement about “reports of violence” against Ballal and condemning “violence of this kind anywhere in the world”.

A few weeks later, reports surfaced that high-powered studio executives had attempted to silence Snow White star Rachel Zegler over an August 2024 tweet where she wrote, “and always remember, free Palestine”.

Zegler’s refusal to retract her statement of solidarity reportedly infuriated the film’s producers, who mounted a public campaign against her, blaming Zegler for the film’s lacklustre box-office numbers.

The attempted suppression of both Ballal and Zegler’s voices are just two recent examples of how power brokers in the US arts and entertainment industries have collaborated with supporters of Israel’s war to manufacture silence about what several countries, as well as many international rights groups and experts, now qualify as genocide.

The ease with which a climate of fear and repression has been created in an industry ostensibly dedicated to free and creative expression reflects that, by design, the arts industry is just as effective at facilitating repression as fostering creativity.

Out of the dozens of workers MEE spoke to, some of them have had major roles in superhero and horror movie franchises, while others have featured in shows on networks including HBO, Prime, and Fox.

None of them, however, are “A-list” performers whose firing or blacklisting would be front-page entertainment news.

More ‘Vaccine’ Injury Victims Join Major Lawsuit Against Bill Gates, Pfizer CEO: ‘Greatest Genocide of Humanity Ever’

Three new Covid “vaccine” injury victims have joined a bombshell Dutch lawsuit targeting Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, and 15 other top-level defendants, accusing them of “unprecedented crime… and even murder.”

The defendants stand accused of committing “the greatest genocide of humanity ever” by deceiving the public about the safety of the Covid mRNA injections.

The plaintiffs say they were all healthy before receiving the mRNA shots. However, they allege they suffered serious side effects as a direct result of the “vaccines.”

According to filings by attorney Peter Stassen:

[D]octors have consistently refused to link their conditions to the injections.

The lawsuit, which originally included seven victims (one of whom has since died), now seeks to expand with the three new applicants.

It names not only Gates and Bourla, but also the Dutch state, former Prime Minister and current NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and several members of the Netherlands’ pandemic-era Outbreak Management Team.

Stassen filed a request this week at the District Court of North Netherlands in Leeuwarden, asking the court to allow five expert witnesses to testify on the health risks of the experimental Covid shots.

The proposed experts include:

– Dr. Mike Yeadon, former Pfizer VP and whistleblower,

– Catherine Austin Fitts, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Housing,

– Sasha Latypova, ex-pharma R&D executive,

– Dr. Joseph Sansone, Ph.D., a Florida psychotherapist fighting to ban mRNA vaccines, and

– Katherine Watt, legal researcher.

A sixth expert, Professor Francis Boyle, had previously agreed to testify but has since died. Boyle was best known for drafting the U.S. Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act.

Meanwhile, lawyers representing the defendants, eight of whom were present, argued the witnesses should be barred, claiming their testimonies are not based on the “scientific consensus” that the “vaccines” are “safe and effective.” Stassen fired back, slamming the argument as “false ad hominem” and accusing the defense of trying to suppress inconvenient truths.

“What is scientific consensus, anyway?” he asked.

The courtroom was packed with “vaccine” injury victims and supporters, while outside, hundreds gathered in solidarity.

As victims sat silently in the courtroom, Dutch journalist Ido Dijkstra, who attended the hearing, said:

[The defense] ignored the obvious damage the vaccines made.

Stassen, in a fiery presentation, told the court the Covid mRNA “vaccine” rollout was nothing short of mass human experimentation. He declared:

The greatest genocide of humanity ever.

Russian Hackers Breach Ukrainian Military’s “Digital Brain” On Command System

The Delta system, officially implemented in 2023 as the “digital brain” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has suffered a large-scale compromise. According to the Telegram channel Mash, Russian hacker groups KillNet, PalachPro, and Beregini gained full access to the system, downloading all operational data of the Ukrainian command. This occurred despite Delta being moved to a foreign cloud – a measure Kyiv claimed would protect it from missile strikes and cyberattacks.

Delta integrated critical functions:

Real-time mapping of Russian troop positions;

Aggregation of data from drones, satellites, and artillery reconnaissance;

Instant targeting for strike systems (HIMARS, drones).

The 2025 hack was not the first:

In August 2022, the group “Joker DPR” had already compromised Delta, publishing system screenshots, administrator logs (VadimFox, Santiago, Boris), and other details on Telegram. “Joker DPR” openly hinted at the incompetence of the Ukrainian command and its dependence on Western “toys,” mocking the idea of managing an army like in the game Warcraft.

Later reports alleged that the “Joker DPR” hackers’ breach of the Delta program did not significantly harm Ukrainian defense and that the Ukrainian army began using the program only on February 4, 2023. However, “Joker DPR” responded by revealing that Delta had been in use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for several years before the start of the Russian military operation, providing as an example a photo of a page from a daily intelligence report of one Ukrainian brigade dated November 9, 2022, which stated: “Unfortunately, due to technical malfunctions of the Delta system, the analysis for November 8, 2022, could not be conducted.”

Following the recent hack, Ukrainian intelligence has initiated a security audit. However, this repeats the 2022 scenario. Back then, statements about “localizing the incident” contrasted with evidence of the hackers’ long-term access to the system. Similarly, the scale of the compromise of the “Virazh” air defense system, hacked in May 2025, was denied.

Bankruptcies hit 15-year high. Industrials lead collapse. Fed boxed in on rates.

Corporate bankruptcies in the United States are running at the fastest pace in 15 years. Through the first six months of 2025, 371 large companies filed for bankruptcy. That’s up from 335 in the same period last year and more than double the number recorded in the first half of 2022. The filings tracked by S&P Global include firms with public debt and at least $2 million in assets or $10 million in liabilities. The volume is the highest for any January to June stretch since 2010.

June saw 63 filings. May had 64. The monthly cadence is holding. Industrial firms have led the collapse with 58 bankruptcies. Consumer discretionary follows with 49. Healthcare has logged 27. These three sectors account for 36% of all filings so far this year. The rest are spread across consumer staples, energy, and real estate.

The Federal Reserve’s effective benchmark rate is currently 4.33% as of July 11. That’s down from the 5.5% peak reached in late 2023. The Fed began easing in Q2 and is expected to cut again in September, October, and December. Inflation remains above target. Core PCE is running at 2.7% year over year. That’s still too high for comfort. The Fed is holding steady for now. Rate cuts are coming, but not fast.

Companies that loaded up on debt during the zero-rate era are now facing refinancing cliffs. Interest coverage ratios have weakened. Debt service is eating into operating margins. Liquidity is tight. Consumer spending is soft. The job market is cooling. Tariffs from the Trump administration have added cost pressure across supply chains. The system is boxed in.

Among the largest filings this year: Joann listed $2.4 billion in debt. Wolfspeed reported $6.7 billion in funded liabilities. Rite Aid filed again in May. Hooters, Forever 21, and 23andMe are also in the mix. These are not small caps. These are household names.

Rate cuts are needed to ease the pressure. But cutting too fast risks reigniting inflation. The Fed is walking a narrow line. Until something gives, the filings will keep coming.

US Officials Bypassed Objections to Rush $30 Million to Aid Agency Accused of Participating in Gaza Genocide

US officials ignored dozens of objections and waived several required safeguards to rush millions of dollars to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). Amnesty International has labeled the GHF a tool of Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Reuters reports that the acting director of the State Department’s Office of Foreign Assistance, Jeremy Lewin, overrode nine mandatory counterterrorism and anti-fraud safeguards and ignored 58 objections identified by State Department staffers to expedite a $30 million payment to the GHF. Lewin worked with so-called ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ (DOGE) before moving over to State.

In an email, Lewin told staffers at USAID that the payment needed to happen “ASAP,” and it had strong support within the White House.

A report by Amnesty International found the GHF has been used as a tool used by Tel Aviv to carry out the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. “In the month following Israel’s imposition of a militarized ‘aid’ scheme run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured either near militarized distribution sites or en route to humanitarian aid convoys,” it said. “All the evidence gathered, including testimonies which Amnesty International is receiving from victims and witnesses, suggests that the GHF was designed so as to placate international concerns while constituting another tool of Israel’s genocide.”

The organization is run by Rev. Johnnie Moore, a Christian Zionist and ally of Benjamin Netanyahu. He has argued that the ICC is anti-Semitic for seeking to arrest the Israeli prime minister over war crimes committed in Gaza.

Nearly 800 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and contractors near the GHF distribution sites in Gaza.

Lewin acknowledged that the payment to GHF could be a controversial issue in a June 25 email to USAID officials, in which he said he was “taking the bullet on this one.”

While the journey to GHF aid sites can be lethal, many Palestinians risk the danger as it is the only source of food in Gaza. However, the GHF distribution process is erratic and dehumanizing.

One Palestinian explained that the aid distribution system has created a catastrophe resembling the dystopian “Hunger Games.” Taqwa Ahmed Al-Wawi writes:

The aid distribution takes place in a fenced area near Salah al-Din Street, close to the eastern edge of Gaza – in a zone so dangerous, locals call it the death corridor. It is surrounded by sand and guarded by foreign military contractors. There are Israeli tanks and soldiers stationed nearby.

There is no clear schedule for the aid deliveries. Sometimes, the GHF opens the gates at 4am and sometimes later. Palestinians wait starting at sunset the night before.

When the gates finally open, the crowd floods in. There are no queues, no staff, no signs. Just noise, dust and fear.

Overhead, drones circle like vultures. Then, a voice from a loudspeaker shouts: “Four minutes! Take what you can!”

Food boxes are left in the middle of the sand, but there is not enough of them. They are never enough. People rush towards the pile, shoving and climbing over each other. They push each other. Knives come out. Fistfights erupt. Children scream. Men fall. Women crawl through the sand. Few people are the lucky ones who are able to grab a box and hold onto it. Then gunfire starts. The sandy square becomes a killing field.

People run for their lives. Many get hit. Some manage to crawl out with injuries. Others are carried by friends or relatives or even strangers. Others bleed alone into the sand.
