Working on a tip from someone in the department that the Sgt is stealing via overtime fraud, journalist goes to the Sgts home and knocks on the door to ask him questions. The Sgt pulls a gun on him and orders him off the property, as he's leaving (long driveway) the Sgt is getting in his face and spits in his face on purpose. ALL on camera. Cops show up, claim they looked and spitting isn't assault, even though it IS a third degree assault.
Journalists have the exact same "knock and talk" right that cops have to walk to your door and knock to attempt to talk to you, but ask yourself, if this Sgt is innocent, why the gun and why spit in his face? It was to provoke a response so he could shoot him. Law enforcement are NOT the good guys, they're domestic enemies either directly committing crimes or domestic enemies covering for their criminal brothers in blue.
True journalism, not the state controlled corporate media such as Fox, CNN, MSNBC etc, is under direct attack from law enforcement in this nation. They HATE that journalists have the right to look into them and expose them.
