The article begins: "The Trump administration accused Russia on Thursday of engineering a series of cyber-attacks that targeted American and European nuclear power plants and water and electric systems, and could have sabotaged or shut power plants off at will. United States officials and private security firms saw the attacks as a signal by Moscow that it could disrupt the West’s critical facilities in the event of a conflict."

I see these accusations as more baseless allegations from the anti-Russia campaign that is being waged daily by our controlled media and government. This is a very dangerous and reckless propaganda campaign that needs to be understood for what it is.

There is, for example, no solid evidence to support any of the accusations that the Russian government is behind this hacking. This is most likely a false-flag hacking operation by another party that is trying to frame the Russian government.

This seems to be the most likely explanation given the flurry of anti-Russian allegations swirling about London and Washington.

Who is the most likely suspect behind the hacking and allegations of Russian hacking of U.S. energy and utility networks? Unit 8200 of the Israeli military would have to be at the top of the list of suspects behind any false-flag hacking operation. Unit 8200 is the largest unit of the Israeli army and its specialty is hacking into computer networks.

Maxwell ready to name Epstein clients before Congress. Will they let her speak?

Ghislaine Maxwell is signaling she’s ready to speak. The woman convicted for helping Jeffrey Epstein traffic underage girls now says she’s willing to testify before Congress and name names. She’s serving a 20-year sentence. No plea deal. No immunity. Just a message through her legal team: she’ll talk if they let her.

The Department of Justice says there’s no client list. A memo released July 7 claims investigators found no evidence Epstein kept records of who he trafficked girls to. The FBI reviewed over 300 gigabytes of data, including 10,000 videos and images. They say nothing in that pile points to a list. They also say Epstein died by suicide in 2019. That’s the official line.

Maxwell’s camp disagrees. According to sources cited by DailyMail, she’s “more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story.” She’s the only person convicted in connection to Epstein’s operation. No one else has been charged. No one else has testified. She says no one from the government has ever asked her to share what she knows.

The timing matters. Maxwell’s Supreme Court appeal is pending. The DOJ’s response is due July 14. She argues her prosecution violated a 2007 non-prosecution agreement Epstein signed in Florida. That deal protected his co-conspirators. She says she was one of them. Her lawyers say the case would’ve been dismissed in other circuits.

Trump’s base is watching closely. Attorney General Pam Bondi promised transparency. In February, she said the Epstein files were “on her desk.” Then came the DOJ memo saying there’s no list. MAGA influencers erupted. Megyn Kelly blamed Bondi for mishandling the case. Elon Musk accused Trump of hiding the files. He later deleted the post.

Virginia Giuffre’s death added fuel. She was one of Epstein’s accusers. She said Prince Andrew abused her when she was 17. In 2019, she posted that she was not suicidal. In 2025, she died by suicide. That shook the narrative. Social media lit up with speculation. Some posts warned Maxwell might be next.

Maxwell’s offer to testify is not a stunt. She’s appealing her conviction. She’s challenging the DOJ’s narrative. She’s saying the files matter. She’s saying the public deserves to hear it. Her sources say the Epstein case ranks with JFK and 9/11 in terms of what Congress should investigate.

The DOJ says no further prosecutions are expected. That includes Prince Andrew. That includes everyone who flew to Little Saint James. That includes everyone in the flight logs. The memo says there’s no credible evidence to charge anyone else.

Maxwell says she’s ready to speak. The question now is whether Congress will let her.

IDF seizes 3 tons of arms from ex-Assad regime sites; violence flares in southern Syria

Troops locate explosives, rockets at ‘key’ commando bases in operation aimed at keeping arms from being smuggled to Lebanon; deadly clashes break out in Druze area

Israeli troops found more than three tons of weapons while raiding military facilities inside Syria. The sites had been maintained by the deposed Bashar al-Assad regime, the Israel Defense Forces said Sunday.

In the raids, which took place over the past week, reservists of the 810th Mountain Regional Brigade located at the peak of Mount Hermon, inside Syria, searched several “key headquarters” formerly belonging to the Assad regime’s commando forces, the IDF said.

The weapons found by troops included anti-tank mines, explosive devices, and rockets.

The IDF said its operations in the area were intended to prevent weapon smuggling into Lebanon from Syria.

Israeli troops have carried out a number of raids inside Syria in recent weeks, mostly targeting alleged members of Iran-sponsored cells stationed near the Golan frontier.

Clerics accuse West Bank Jews of attacking Christian sites

Fears over violence were pushing Christians to leave the West Bank, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Roman Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem since 2020, said.

Christian leaders accused Israeli Jews on Monday of attacking sacred sites in the West Bank, in violence that one said was forcing some to consider leaving the territory.

The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III - visiting the Christian town of Taiba with other Jerusalem-based clerics - said Jewish settlers had started a fire near a cemetery and a 5th-century church there last week.

"These actions are a direct and intentional threat to our local community … but also to the historic and religious heritage," the patriarch told diplomats and journalists at a press conference in Taiba.

They had also attacked homes in the area, he said.

"We call for an immediate and transparent investigation on why the Israeli police did not respond to emergency calls from the local community and why these abhorrent actions continue to go unpunished," he added.

Israel's government spokesperson did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment. Israel's government had previously said that any acts of violence by civilians are unacceptable and that individuals should not take the law into their own hands.

During the visit, the heads of the churches led locals in prayer as candles flickered in the ruins of the 5th-century church of St George. They spoke with residents who described their fears.

Violence in the West Bank region escalating

Rights groups have said settler violence in the West Bank has risen since the start of Israel's war against the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas in Gaza in late 2023. Dozens of Israelis have also been killed in Palestinian street attacks in recent years, and the IDF has intensified raids across the West Bank.

Palestinian health authorities and witnesses said two men, including a US citizen, were killed by settlers during a confrontation on Friday night.

Fears over violence were pushing Christians to leave the West Bank, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Roman Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem since 2020, said.

"Unfortunately, the temptation to emigrate is there because of the situation," he added. "This time it's very difficult to see how and when this will finish, and especially for the youth to talk about hope, trust for the future."

Around 50,000 Christian Palestinians live in Jerusalem, and in the West Bank, an area that includes many of the faith's most sacred sites, including Bethlehem, where believers say Jesus was born.

Pentagon pulls all military speakers from ‘globalist’ Aspen Security Forum

A dozen top U.S. military commanders and officials was slated to participate in the Aspen Security Forum this week.

The Pentagon has pulled roughly a dozen high-ranking U.S. military officials who had been slated to participate in this week’s annual Aspen Security Forum, Just the News has learned.

The Defense Department cited the left-wing nature of the Aspen Institute and the participation of such critics of President Trump as Biden administration National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

The annual forum put on by the Aspen Institute – which has been dubbed “the mountain retreat for the liberal elite” – describes the event as “the premier national security and foreign policy conference in the United States.”

Roughly a dozen top Defense Department officials – including the secretary of the Navy and the commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command – are still listed as speakers on the Aspen Security Forum agenda this week, but a source told Just the News over the weekend that that will no longer happen.

“The Department of Defense has no interest in legitimizing an organization that has invited former officials who have been the architects of chaos abroad and failure at home,” Pentagon press secretary Kingsley Wilson told Just the News.

"They are antithetical to the America First values of this administration. Senior representatives of the Department of Defense will no longer be participating in an event that promotes the evil of globalism, disdain for our great country, and hatred for the President of the United States," Wilson also said.

A spokesperson for Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, told Just the News on Monday afternoon that the senator – who had been slated to speak at the forum – will also no longer be attending.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit this weekend that his agency under Democratic Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden was "distracted by experiments" in left-wing ideology and that "from day one, we have declared that [Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives are] dead at DoD," calling it a "back-to-basics moment."

The Institute receives funding from left-leaning donors, stacks its commissions with anti-Trump activists, and has been linked to a series of events which Republicans say contributed to the censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop stories in October 2020, critics say.

The Capital Research Center, a right-leaning think tank, stated that in 2022, the group spent $95,042,121 on public policy programs "addressing issues including economic distress, educational opportunity, environmentalism, and the left-wing concept of racial justice,” according to the center’s Influence Watch project.

The annual security forum is organized by the Aspen Strategy Group, which is part of the larger institute. The group is co-chaired by former Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, as part of the Republican Bush administration, and Biden’s former ambassador to China, Nicholas Burns.

The forum’s agenda shows that the capstone event at the end of the week will feature a panel discussion among Rice, Sullivan former Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

Trump uses NATO to arm Ukraine while planning direct missile strikes on Russian military hubs

President Trump is rewriting the rules on Ukraine. Instead of direct aid, he’s using NATO as the conduit. Weapons will be sold to allied countries. They will transfer the equipment to Ukraine. No congressional gridlock. No waiting on procurement. The arms move faster and the taxpayers stay untouched.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte arrived in Washington for closed-door talks. Meetings included President Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and key senators. Lindsey Graham is backing legislation that targets Russian oil revenue. The proposal hits importers of Russian crude with 500% tariffs. China and India are in the crosshairs. Together, they account for 70% of Russia’s oil exports.

Trump confirmed the first batch of hardware. Several hundred JASSM-ER missiles are being prepared for transfer. These extended-range cruise missiles can reach targets 1,000 kilometers away. Ukraine will deploy them from F-16s that Trump plans to include in the initial weapons package. The missiles are capable of hitting production sites in Moscow and St. Petersburg. These cities house the infrastructure behind Russia’s long-range arsenal.

If Moscow refuses to engage, phase two begins. Ukraine will be supplied with Tomahawk missiles and mobile launch platforms. These weapons can hit targets several thousand kilometers away. Focus shifts to the Urals. Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk are home to armored vehicle manufacturing and strategic military facilities. The idea is to take out the backbone, not the surface.

Trump made clear that nuclear weapons are off the table. Everything short of that is being considered. Congress may unlock frozen Russian assets and repurpose leftover drawdown funding. The sanctions bill carries bipartisan support. Trump is asking for full control over waivers and enforcement. Graham says the president will have the tools to turn off the oil.

This isn’t a gesture. It’s leverage. Ukraine gets teeth. NATO shares the load. Russia watches the lines shift.

Israel tried to assasinate Iran’s President.

Israel targeted a building in western Tehran during a meeting of Iran’s top leadership. The strike reportedly blocked the building’s exits, but the officials escaped through an emergency route. President Masoud Pazeshkian and several others sustained minor leg injuries while exiting.

Iran’s Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard, reported that Iranian President Masoud Pazeshkian sustained light leg injuries during an Israeli strike in western Tehran on June 16, during a high-level meeting of Iran’s leadership.

The strike targeted a building where the president, the speaker of parliament, and the head of the judiciary were holding a closed session in the basement. According to the report, six missiles or bombs hit the building’s entrances and exits to block escape routes and cut airflow. Power was cut off, but the officials escaped through a pre-planned emergency exit. Several, including Pazeshkian, were injured while fleeing.

This report aligns with Pazeshkian’s recent claim in an interview with Tucker Carlson, where he said: “Yes, they tried, but they failed. I believe it is up to God to decide when someone dies—and I am not afraid to sacrifice myself for my country.”

He further stated that the intelligence pointed to Israel, not the U.S., as the party behind the attempt. He accused Israel of committing war crimes, claiming: “Our commanders weren’t even on duty—they were home with their families. Killing them like that, with their children, is a war crime under international law.”

158 human traffickers arrested and 1 194 victims safeguarded in global operation

Crackdown codenamed ‘Global Chain’ focused on trafficking for sexual exploitation, forced criminality and forced begging

A major operation against human trafficking has resulted in the safeguarding of 1 194 potential victims and the arrest of 158 suspects. As part of ongoing investigations, an additional 205 human trafficking suspects have also been identified. The global crackdown focused on trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, forced criminality and forced begging, with a special focus on underage victims.

This year’s edition of the operation codenamed ‘Global Chain’ took place from 1 to 6 June 2025 and was led by law enforcement in Austria and Romania, with coordination and support from Europol, Frontex and INTERPOL. It aimed to detect and disrupt High-Value-Targets and organised crime groups – responsible for most human trafficking cases – as well as safeguarding victims, seizing criminal assets, and initiating follow-up investigations.

The operation engaged nearly 15 000 officers from 43 different countries and involved law enforcement, border guards, labour inspectorates, tax- and customs authorities. Potential victims were reported from 64 different countries, with a majority from Romania, Ukraine, Colombia, China and Hungary. Many of the victims had been trafficked across borders, and even continents, demonstrating the global nature of human trafficking schemes. Investigations show that the vast majority of victims of sexual exploitation are female and adult, while the exploitation of underage victims is mostly connected to forced begging and forced criminal activity such as pickpocketing. In many of these cases, the safeguarding of victims can be challenging, as they are often exploited by family members.

Close and effective cooperation between international law enforcement and border authorities remains essential in protecting those who are most vulnerable to exploitation. The outcomes of this year’s operation ‘Global Chain’ are not just statistics, each individual safeguarded from exploitation represents an invaluable success. Human trafficking can only be tackled together, and I am thankful for all countries and partners who joined forces with Europol to support victims and pursue justice for them.

Operational highlights

Austrian law enforcement arrested 7 suspected human traffickers (1 Hungarian, 6 Romanian citizens), while identifying and safeguarding 8 women. Based on the information exchange leading up to the action week, the Romanian family-based organised crime group could be identified and targeted. The criminals were active across several EU Member States in human trafficking for sexual exploitation and forced criminality. Victims were typically recruited using the ‘lover-boy method’ and then forced into prostitution. In addition, the victims were forced to defraud customers, tricking them to hand over large sums of money. In other cases, victims were forced to steal from their customers or lured them to remote places so the traffickers could rob them.

Romanian police carried out house searches, summoned 11 witnesses and arrested 9 individuals for the trafficking of 8 child victims, aged 7 to 15, for the purpose of forced begging.

In Italy, police raided several massage parlours with suspected links to sexual exploitation. They identified 75 potential trafficking victims from Romania, China and Colombia, and also seized drugs and firearms. An Italian suspect was arrested on trafficking charges. 5 other suspects from Italy, Tunisia, Colombia and the Philippines were arrested for other crimes. Several apartments used for forced prostitution were seized by the authorities.

The Maltese Police Force arrested a suspected human trafficker and rescued 3 victims. 3 women (2 sisters and their aunt) from Colombia were offered employment as cleaners by an Italian national. Upon arrival in Malta, however, their passports were confiscated by the suspect under the guise of arranging work permits. The victims were then coerced into prostitution, with the suspect allegedly refusing to return their identification documents and demanding large sums of money in exchange for their return.
