Same as a family member close to me. His last place of employment filled up with non English speakers. He was the only one who couldn’t understand instructions. cut his hours to nothing, finally didn’t put him in the schedule at all. He’s been applying for over a year. Hes not at a point where he understands he’s a culture war victim yet- he’s still hopeful. Still trying. Tells me of all the applications he put in., every place he’s looking. Hurts my heart to watch. Delivery service is barely keeping him going. Smart kid. Hard worker. Worked 60 hours a week, trained in all the stations and trained all the new people before this culture purge happened. He trained his ‘English as a second language’ replacements and they pushed him out.
