So, could part of the insurance policy recordings really just be bullshit? Believable bullshit that could be used to leverage international relations and business deals?

Anything like this would be pretty fucked up too…as well as add a new level of complexity to the story which I don't hear anyone talking about.

Even then, the AI aspect is interesting for a potential safe harbor in the future.

Let's say AI doesn't play a role, but rolling out a narrative that it did COULD allow for future defenses if material were to leak.

There's lots of alternative theories and threads to pull on, but in the end, all I see if creating such a dense fog of war that it will never clear.
