So I'm going to wrap up the Justice League posting I've done with the bigger picture of what was happening under Snyder and Mnuchin's DC films:
Beginning with Man of Steel Snyder was telling an epic story with depth that is really best described as pro-American and pro liberty. He focused much more on ideology that was in line with Ayn Rand using these heroes as vehicles to explore these themes. Although never stated in the film, Snyder took Superman back to his roots of "truth, justice, and the American way". The villain in that film was not Zod, but tyranny being pushed by Zod and his "state".
We now move to Batman v Superman where the tyranny is now coming from a SV brat named Lex Luther. In addition to Luther's corruption there is Batman's legitimate worry and anger at Superman's irresponsibility. That film reflects the CURRENT time it was made whereas Man of Steel reflected the past. Snyder was showing the current corruption.
Now we come to JL which would have been the appropriated conclusion to this epic where for the most part the JL is going up against Satan. You can see the seeds of many ideas that were to show up in the film that reflected justice for not just America, but the world. WHY would he include a lone family in the wilderness that needed saving? There's other examples, but the thing that sticks out most is Lane literally quoting Rand with "the engine of the world".
These films were a return to AMERICAN values and were pro-liberty. This is why I wanted to push this because someone stood up to the bastards in Pedowood making films that we NEED as a culture.
