Unfortunately many will swear up and down they love freedom, they even think they do, but they hate it with a passion. What they want is a king/dictator that likes and dislikes the same things as them. If they like it, everyone should be "free" to do it, but if they don't like it it should be illegal, and even if it's not it's still wrong because they say so and they want to see you punished!

It is a blatant 4th amendment violation to demand ID or detain for a trespass warning. For a trespass warning, you're being WARNED not to come back on property or it's a crime, there has been no crime yet so no ID under the law. This is EXTREMELY BASIC LAW that every single cop should know inside and out, but it's easier for them to just violate rights and pay their victims with your money.
