When I read stuff like this, I know they do not know nor have witnessed nor understand but do guess through their own calculations. This is why they are not capable of participating in miracles just exorcisms and most others parlor tricks. If they knew, they would testify, but they are not testifying but using their understanding to preach, which some things are relative but not fully expounded because they haven't seen nor heard.
