“Yesterday was unexpectedly my last day in the office. I was summarily fired via memo from Main Justice that did not give a reason for my termination. Every person lucky enough to work in this office constantly hears four words to describe our ethos: without fear or favor.

At the end of the video message, James Comey went off on Trump and the “hacks” at the Justice Department.

Earlier Sunday, President Trump called for Adam Schiff to be prosecuted and dropped receipts on the Democrat Senator’s mortgage fraud.

“Adam Schiff is a THIEF! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me, and everyone else — The only difference is, WE WERE TOTALLY INNOCENT, IT WAS ALL A GIANT HOAX!”President Trump said on Truth Social.

President Trump attached a screenshot of a signed and notarized affidavit that Schiff signed proclaiming the mortgaged property in Maryland is his “principal residence.”

Adam Schiff also has a condominium in Los Angeles, California, that he claims is his “primary residence.”

This is textbook mortgage occupancy fraud.

On last Tuesday night’s episode of The Ingraham Angle, Laura revealed that she had exclusively obtained a criminal referral for Adam Schiff — and the allegations are explosive.

The criminal referral, submitted to the DOJ by Housing Director Bill Pulte, accused Schiff of falsifying bank documents and property records over a period of 16 years in order to score more favorable mortgage terms and rates.

The fraudulent activity allegedly spanned from 2003 to 2019, and centers on a lavish Potomac, Maryland home — while Schiff simultaneously maintained a condo in Burbank, California.

“The referral, submitted to the DOJ by Housing Director Bill Pulte, alleges that Schiff has, in multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms—impacting payments from 2003 to 2019 for a Potomac, Maryland-based property. There were reports on Sunday making the rounds on the internet that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made a move inside the Department of Health and Human Services, terminating two top officials.

Heather Flick Melanson, his Chief of Staff, and Hannah Anderson, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, are no longer at HHS

According to ABC News, the dismissals were sudden and unexplained.

No reason was given for the ousters. The person familiar with the situation told ABC that Kennedy “has every right to make personnel decisions.”

“Secretary Kennedy has made a leadership change within the Immediate Office of the Secretary,” according to a statement provided by an HHS spokesperson to ABC News. “Effective immediately, Matt Buckham will serve as Acting Chief of Staff.”

“Mr. Buckham currently serves as Kennedy’s White House liaison at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he oversees the recruitment and onboarding of political appointees across the agency. He brings valuable experience in personnel strategy and organizational management to this new role,” the statement continued.

“Secretary Kennedy thanks the outgoing leadership for their service and looks forward to working closely with Mr. Buckham as the Department continues advancing its mission to Make America Healthy Again,” the statement concluded.

Buckham will continue to serve as Kennedy’s White House liaison, according to an administration official.

This story at ABC broke after the FDA — under HHS leadership—officially granted full approval to Moderna’s controversial mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, Spikevax, for children as young as 6 months old through 11 years of age who are deemed “at increased risk” of COVID-19.A decision Kennedy neither authorized nor was even briefed on.

Dupont Circle neighborhood experiences repeated power outages as high temperatures persist

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Days after a transformer caught fire at a Pepco substation in Northwest D.C., hundreds of customers in the Dupont Circle neighborhood are still experiencing power outages.

Shortly after midnight, on July 17, the D.C. Fire and EMS Department was dispatched to the Pepco substation in the 2140 N St. NW for a fire. A Twinned Agent Unit extinguished the transformer inside the substation, and no injuries were reported.

However, the issues had begun Tuesday night, when two feeder cables tripped, one at 11th and Clinton streets NW, and the other at 11th and Monroe Streets NW. Despite no customers seeing impacts in either of these incidents, another failure occurred Wednesday night, sparking the 22nd Street substation fire.

About 1,800 customers were left without power in the Dupont Circle and West End areas Thursday morning, per DC News Now’sprevious coverage. However, Pepco restored power to most customers by Thursday afternoon.

Despite this, service disruptions continued to be an issue. On the morning of Sunday, July 20, a power line feeding the 22nd Street substation tripped again, prompting Pepco to turn off the power for hundreds of customers to “help avoid further impact at the substation” and prevent a larger outage.

Ashley Lund lives in a high-rise and is at wits’ end, concerned about her neighbors as much as her comfort.

“People that have medical needs, people that have to refrigerate their medicine or that have medical devices plugged in, or even to get to work, they can’t get out of the garage,” Lund said.

Neighbor Thomas Darapiza is also worried about elderly neighbors.

“We have elderly people who live in this 10-story building here,” Darapiza explains, “and they can’t walk up and down these steps. They have medications that need to be refrigerated.”

Adding to residents’ anxiety here is that PEPCO is restoring power intermittently.

“Turn it back on anytime you want,” Darapiza explains. “We’re scrambling. We don’t even know what to expect now.”

Retiree Michael Silverstein wishes there was communication from the power company.

“At 7 o’clock in the morning, bang,” exclaims Silverstein. “I could have been stuck in the elevator! We simply need to know what is going on!”

Neighbors say their Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, Alex Marshall, has reached out but has no assurances of immediate relief.

Frank Tedesco, a spokesperson for Pepco, told DC News Now that the utility proactively disconnected power for about 200 customers at 9 a.m. and disconnected it for about 1,673 customers at 10:15 a.m.

As of 1:50 p.m., 1,794 customers were without power in the Dupont Circle area, according to Pepco’s outage map. This comes as the District remains under a heat alert, with temperatures climbing into the lower 90s.

Tedesco said that, at this time, there is no estimated restoration time available as crews continue to make repairs to the substation and that the utility may have to drop more customers from the power to prevent more widespread outages.

“We understand how disruptive these outages can be for our customers, particularly multiple outage events in just a few days, and appreciate their continued understanding and patience as crews work safely and as quickly as possible to make additional repairs. Customers should continue to checkpepco.com/Outage or our mobile app for the latest estimates on when service will be restored,” Pepco wrote in a statement.

Although the exact cause of Sunday’s outages is under evaluation, Tedesco said permanent repairs are ongoing at the 22nd Street substation and will continue through July 30.

Noted attorney Alan Dershowitz said Sunday he could be called as a witness in President Donald Trump’s suit against The Wall Street Journal, arguing that he could help “prove malice” in the case.

Trump announced he’d filed suit against the WSJ and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, Friday over an article that claimed he sent disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein a bawdy letter celebrating his birthday. Dershowitz told “Sunday Agenda” host Lidia Curanaj he also was contacted by the WSJ over a letter he reportedly sent, which the outlet couldn’t produce.

“I’ll probably be called as a witness in the case, because they also called me, and they said that you wrote him a letter with a mock cover of Vanity Fair,” Dershowitz told Curanaj. “And I said, ‘I may have, I don’t remember, this was 23 years ago. Just send me a copy of the letter with my signature and I’ll tell you whether it’s authentic or not,’ and they said they couldn’t do it.”

“And so they published the story without authenticating it with me, and that will be an important point in trying to prove malice, so I suspect I will be a witness if this case ever goes to trial,” Dershowitz continued.

Trump announced in a Thursday night Truth Social post he was asking Bondi to seek permission from the courts to release the grand jury transcripts from the Epstein case. Bondi said in a response posted on X that DOJ would move to unseal the documents Friday.
