Russia Allegedly Downs Ukrainian Airborne Drone Carrier Over Occupied Kherson

Jul 21, 2025 15:45

Russian forces have released video footage they claim shows the interception of a Ukrainian drone carrier aircraft over Russian-occupied Kherson region.

The footage—shared by pro-Kremlin military channels—depicts what appears to be a Russian drone engaging and destroying a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), according to Defense Blog on July 21.

Russian sources allege the downed UAV was a specialized system designed to operate as an airborne launch platform and signal repeater for multiple First-Person View (FPV) attack drones.

The Ukrainian aircraft reportedly served as a mobile carrier and communication relay, allowing FPV drones to carry out long-range strikes against Russian positions, including in areas where ground-based control links are disrupted or unavailable.

Defense analysts have previously observed Ukraine’s increasing reliance on such “mother ship” UAVs to expand the operational range of its drone forces.

These systems enable coordinated attacks and reconnaissance missions across contested airspace, enhancing Ukraine’s ability to penetrate Russian air defenses without direct line-of-sight control.

Ukraine is actively advancing its drone warfare capabilities with the development of so-called “mother drones”—large unmanned aerial vehicles designed to transport and launch explosive-equipped FPV drones deep behind enemy lines.

These aircraft act as airborne drone carriers, enabling Ukrainian forces to strike targets that are otherwise out of reach for ground-launched systems.

A recently surfaced video shows one such UAV releasing multiple FPV drones mid-flight, suggesting a scalable, mobile platform capable of bypassing frontline electronic warfare and air defense systems.

Each mother drone can reportedly carry up to six FPV drones mounted beneath its wings. By flying at high altitudes and entering contested airspace, these UAVs can deploy their payload far beyond the operational range of individual FPV drones.

This allows Ukrainian forces to target equipment and personnel located 10–30 kilometers behind Russian lines—positions typically protected by electronic jamming or situated out of range for conventional drone launches.

Once dropped, the FPV drones switch to direct attack mode, engaging targets with high precision.

Earlier, Ukrainian warfare expert Sergii “Flash” Beskrestnov reported that Russian forces have adopted Ukrainian-style anti-drone tactics, significantly increasing the downing of Ukrainian reconnaissance UAVs.

The Russian “Rubicon” unit, credited with deploying these methods, is now training other units, prompting concerns over Ukraine’s lack of timely countermeasures and the growing presence of compact 3D radars—possibly of Chinese origin—along the front line.

Kurdish armed group blames Iran for deadly Sulaimani drone attack

July 20, 2025

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Eastern Kurdistan Units (YRK) on Sunday accused Iran of carrying out a deadly drone strike in eastern Sulaimani province’s Penjwen district, killing one of its fighters.

Local officials on Saturday said the drone was Turkish. Ankara has not commented on the incident.

“This attack was carried out by Iran against our forces,” read a statement from the YRK, the armed wing of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK).

It said suicide “suicide drone” killed a fighter identified as Simko Kobane.

PJAK is an Iran-based armed group widely believed to be an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The latter group declared a unilateral ceasefire and on July 11 had a ceremonial disarmament where 30 fighters, including commanders, burned their weapons.

On May 12, the PKK announced its dissolution and intention to disarm after being urged to do so by their founder, Abdullah Ocalan, who said it was time to take the struggle for Kurdish rights in Turkey into the political sphere.

However, PJAK has said it would continue its armed struggle against Tehran despite PKK’s decision to dissolve itself, saying Ocalan’s decision does not include them.

“We, as the forces of Eastern Kurdistan [western Iran], will not remain defenseless against these types of attacks and will defend ourselves to the end within the framework of our legitimate rights.

We do not attack anyone in any way, but we always defend ourselves,” the group added.

PJAK operates from bases in the Kurdistan Region’s Mount Qandil, where the PKK is also headquartered. The group has clashed with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and is banned in Iran.

Several Iranian-Kurdish opposition groups, including PJAK, the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI), Komala, and the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), have been relocated away from the Iran-Kurdistan Region border as part of a 2023 security agreement between Baghdad and Tehran.

Iran has frequently targeted these groups with cross-border strikes, accusing them of inciting unrest inside its borders.

I’m a drone CEO. America must protect its airspace now, before it’s too late

July 21, 2025 5:00am EDT

Drones have rapidly evolved from backyard novelties into critical components of today’s infrastructure and now, into one of the fastest-growing threats to our national security.

As the CEO of one of the nation’s largest drone technology companies and a former naval officer, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful these tools can be.

I’ve also seen how dangerous they are when left unregulated; they become liabilities, capable of disruption, destruction and danger.

Just days ago, amid deadly flash floods in Texas, a private drone collided with a rescue helicopter during an active life-saving mission. The crash forced the crew to land, grounding a critical asset in the middle of an unfolding emergency.

In the chaos of unspeakable tragedy, a single uncoordinated drone put lives at risk and halted the very efforts meant to save them. Incidents like this are entirely preventable with proper airspace coordination.

In the first quarter of this year, the FAA reported over 400 illegal drone incursions near U.S. airports, which is a 25% increase from the same period in 2024.

Drone incursions into U.S. military airspace have reached unprecedented levels, and the trend is only accelerating.

At military bases across the country, 350 unauthorized drone flights were recorded last year alone. These aren’t harmless mistakes. They are persistent, coordinated, and, in some cases, hostile.

These incidents are not isolated; they’re escalating. Drones have been used to smuggle contraband into prisons, surveil energy facilities and ports, and even collide with manned aircraft, narrowly avoiding catastrophe.

As drones become faster, cheaper and easier to operate, our systems for detecting, coordinating, and responding remain fractured, outdated, and dangerously inadequate.

From commercial airliners and emergency helicopters to power grids and correctional facilities, these vulnerabilities cut across every critical sector.

Without stronger detection, clear enforcement authority, and a unified approach to managing airspace, the risk will only grow. This is no longer a question of if these gaps will be exploited, but when, how often, and at what cost.

The root of the problem is not technological. The solutions exist today. What we lack is a national framework, a unified, real-time system to track, manage and respond to low-altitude air traffic.

We need a flight information exchange that allows law enforcement, regulators, and operators to see what’s flying, where it is, and who is responsible.

We need cryptographically secure digital credentials that link drones, their pilots and their missions to prevent spoofing. And we need Remote ID signals that can’t be manipulated.

Right now, too many decisions depend on disconnected sensors, slow approvals and guesswork. We must fuse radar, RF and acoustic data into a single surveillance picture.

The FAA needs to publish a national mission-priority table to ensure emergency flights aren’t delayed or grounded.

Most urgently, Congress must expand counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems authority to include local law enforcement before the current federal authority sunsets this September.

The technology is ready. The risks are growing. We no longer have the luxury of delay. It’s time for Congress, regulators and industry to act together before these threats escalate into disasters.

We can protect our skies before the next drone incident becomes a national tragedy.

Abbey Clancy 'spotted three UFOs' while driving

Mon 21 July 2025 at 12:00 am GMT-7

Abbey Clancy claims she saw three unidentified flying objects (UFOs) while she was driving.

The 39-year-old model says she saw "rectangle lights" zooming in the sky as she drove down the A3 - which connects London and Portsmouth.

Abbey told her husband, ex-footballer Peter Crouch, 44, on their The Therapy Crouch podcast: "I have all these UFO people contacting me going, 'You did see it, it's not a figure of your imagination.'

"I just saw these three rectangle lights in the sky. It wasn't a sunny day, and it hadn't been raining.

"It couldn't have been some sort of reflection. Seconds later, they all darted off in a different direction."

Abbey is not the only star to reveal UFO sightings, as actor Michael Sheen, 56, recently revealed he saw a "phalanx of light" when he was on his way home from school one day in his hometown of Port Talbot, Wales - which has attracted several alien sightings.

However, Michael did not tell anyone that he spotted a UFO until it disappeared, meaning people dismissed his claim.

The Good Omens actor said on the Scarred For Life podcast in March: "When I was about 12, I was coming home from school. I used to go on the school bus and it would drop me off at the end of the road.

"And I would walk up my to my house and as I would turn up the drive to my house, to my right was the edge of the mountain and behind me was the town and going out to sea.

"And just as I turned I saw something come around the edge of the mountain off in the distance - a light coming round.

"So I sort of stopped and this light came out and then two lights behind it and then three lights behind it and then I saw a phalanx of light coming from behind the mountain and floating out over the sea.

"And as I'm standing there I'm thinking, 'I think those are UFOs, I'm fairly certain those are UFOs', and I thought I had to go into my house and tell my family there are UFOs out here, or lights, and they should come and have a look.

"And then I had to go into the house and go, 'Umm I think I've just seen…', and no one believed me obviously."

Local history: UFO investigator kept eyes on the skies

July 20, 2025 6:10 a.m.

The truth was out there. Maybe way out there.

Long before FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully began investigating “The X-Files” on television, an Akron schoolteacher searched for proof of unidentified flying objects.

Americo Candusso, also known as Amerigo, served for decades as chairman of the Flying Saucer Investigating Committee, an Akron group that researched UFO sightings across Northeast Ohio.

“One of these days, the truth is going to come out,” he vowed.

First UFO sighting in Alliance

Ever since he could remember, he had watched the sky. He was born in Italy in 1922, emigrated as a child with his parents Remigio and Antonia Candusso, and grew up in Alliance with his little brother, Ermes.

As a kid, Candusso liked to read science fiction, which he later acknowledged “lit a spark in me.” He saw his first UFO at age 10 during recess at Alliance’s Liberty Elementary School in the 1930s.

“It was a white ball of light, very brilliant, like a star,” he recalled. “It was moving.”

When he pointed out the strange object to a teacher, the unimpressed instructor ordered him back into the classroom. It wouldn’t be the last time that Candusso questioned authority.

During World War II, he served as a weather observer for the U.S. Army Air Forces in North Africa, typing reports on an encryption machine. He heard pilots talking about strange encounters with unidentified aircraft that they called “foo fighters.”

The mystery deepened for him. For the rest of his life, he gathered clues. “I guess I’ve just been driven by an urge to find out,” he said.

Strange objects in the sky

Candusso earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Mount Union, and bachelor’s degrees in education and chemistry from the University of Akron. He lived in Cuyahoga Falls and taught science at Akron’s Robinson School and later Harris School.

About 1956, he joined Akron’s Unidentified Flying Objects Research Committee, a group formed by George Popowitch to study UFO reports. Coincidentally or not, Candusso experienced additional sightings over the next few years.

About 10:45 p.m. April 6, 1959, Candusso was driving with a date in Twinsburg when they noticed a bluish-white light in the sky near Route 91. The cigar-shaped object, which appeared to be traveling northwest 1,000 to 1,500 off the ground, suddenly circled back and briefly hovered over his car before flying away, he reported.

Around 9:30 p.m. May 27, 1959, he was driving alone in Stow when he saw two reddish-orange objects flitting in the sky about 3,000 feet up after a thunderstorm. The brick-shaped objects pulsated and seemed to interact with each other before disappearing.

Shortly after midnight June 20, 1960, Candusso was driving at Steels Corners and Wyoga Lake roads in Stow when he saw an elongated object that appeared to be “two bands of horizontal lights, red, green and white — all sparks.” Much to the teacher’s surprise, four other aerial objects emerged from the clouds and darted around before disappearing over the northern horizon.

“I’ve never been able to explain what I saw,” he said.

Government cover-up alleged

Candusso had no doubt that UFOs were real. He just didn’t know what they were. “There are a lot of theories,” he once told the Beacon Journal.

“The popular one is they are interplanetary travelers. But they could come from another dimension or maybe even from our own planet.

They could live in the ocean or at one of the poles and who would ever know.

“I’d like to believe they’re interplanetary, but I have to be open-minded to all possibilities.”

Candusso served as a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network, a national nonprofit group that reported sightings.

He thought the government was covering up evidence. “They have held back information and fooled the public,” he said. “Why is anyone’s guess.”

Flying saucer club popular

In 1961, he and Larry Moyers formed the Flying Saucer Investigating Committee, which took a scientific approach to UFOs.

The group documented aerial phenomena, interviewed witnesses, evaluated sightings, took radiation readings and issued community reports.

Local interest was keen. The club attracted 200 people to monthly meetings and mailed a newsletter, the FSIC Bulletin, to 800 households.

Candusso said that 90% of UFO sightings had some logical explanation, but it was the remaining 10% that intrigued him.

With its number listed in the Akron phone book, the club averaged about six calls a night from people claiming to see weird things in the sky.

“Most of the calls are ridiculous, but we try to run them all down,” Candusso said.

They recorded witness interviews, visited the scenes of sightings, analyzed atmospheric conditions and checked police logs. They filled hundreds of notebooks with written observations.

Candusso said that he and his colleagues routinely exposed hoaxes. Sometimes it was difficult to appear credible in a field that attracted “so many quacks and nutcases,” he said.

Some favorite cases

There were certain cases that made an impression, though.

In August 1960, four teens encountered a strange phenomenon about 3 a.m. while camping overnight at Firestone Metropolitan Park in Coventry Township. They saw a bright blue light before a bell-shaped, metallic-looking, robot-like object rose over the campsite.

The youths said it was 11 feet tall and had a square head with a black faceplate instead of features. Gradually, three similar objects appeared. The teens said they struck camp and raced home while one of the sentinels followed their car all the way to Wilbeth Road.

“To my mind, that is one of the strangest and most unexplainable stories,” Candusso said. “I hardly believe it myself, yet the boys seemed very sincere.

We talked to them within 24 hours and interviewed them separately and they stuck to their story. Even the little things matched up in all the accounts. They swore it was true at the time and even years later.”

In June 1965, Carroll County farmer John Stavano was driving a tractor when he discovered a giant circle, over 50 feet in diameter, in the middle of his wheat field about 60 feet from Route 39.

The ground was bare, stripped of all vegetation, as if a tornado had touched down. The wheat had exploded from the inside. Had something landed there? At the center of the circle was a depression about 30 inches across and 5 inches deep.

Soil samples revealed abnormally high levels of zinc and iron, but the earth was not scorched. Dozens of neighbors had reported hearing a sonic boom a few nights earlier.

“The whole thing is still a mystery to us today,” Candusso said.

The most famous incident, later referenced in the Steven Spielberg movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” occurred April 17, 1966.

Two Portage County sheriff’s deputies reported chasing a humming “dome-shaped object as big as a house” for 86 miles along U.S. 224 from Randolph to Conway, Pennsylvania. Dale Spaur and W.L. Neff estimated the object to be 40 feet across and flying up to 800 feet off the ground.

They said they drove 100 mph while trying to keep up with it. The Air Force investigated the incident and concluded that the men had chased Venus.

“Can you believe that?” Candusso said. “These grown, professional men are going to be speeding along all the way into another state because they mistook a planet for a flying object?”

End of the UFO committee

Candusso presented lectures to local groups and taught continuing education courses about UFOs at Kent State and the University of Akron.

He often investigated cases with his wife, Margaret, the club’s secretary, who had worked as an artist for American Greetings in Cleveland and Saalfield Books in Akron. She, too, had witnessed a UFO — in 1949 over a trailer park in Cleveland.

The couple amassed 25 boxes of UFO materials, including photos, books, articles, tape recordings, illustrations and models. When they moved to Medina in the 1980s, they took it all with them — including the flying saucer committee.

Club membership had dwindled over the decades. By 1989, there were only about 20 loyalists, mostly older people, attending meetings.

The group disbanded in 1990 after the Candussos announced they were moving to Arizona. “There are no heirs,” Candusso said.

After retiring to the Southwest, the couple remained active in UFO research. Margaret passed away in 2008 at age 80. Americo died in 2015 at age 93. The Ohioans are buried at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson

Two years before his death, Candusso donated his UFO collection to the International UFO Museum & Research Center in Roswell, New Mexico. Now other scholars can pick up where he left off.

Candusso remained confident that the unidentified would be identified. “The march of history cannot be stopped; the truth will be known,” he once noted.

“Every citizen has a duty not just to obey — but to question and demand that whatever is known should be divulged; and that a great scientific effort should be mounted to prepare our earth for the great adventure, of confrontation by intelligences from other realms.”

Troggs frontman Reg Presley ‘saw’ secret footage of alien autopsy from Roswell incident

updated: July 21, 2025 9:32 am

Troggs frontman Reg Presley claimed he saw secret footage of an alien autopsy from the Roswell incident.

The late Wild Thing singer sent a five-page fax to a UFO hunter declaring the footage was genuine.

Presley – behind hits such as Love is All Around and With a Girl Like You – died in 2013, aged 71.

But the Brit rocker sent the fax in 2000 to UK flying saucer expert, Philip Mantle.

In it, Presley said: “Led on what appeared to be an operating table was an alien with no damage whatsoever aside from some bruising on its left leg.

“Two people in white protective clothing and visored headgear, who we took to be pathologists, were standing over the body.

“The first thing the pathologist or surgeon did in the footage was take the eye coverings off the alien, probably just to see if there was an eye underneath, which there was.”

Mr Mantle, 67, author of Roswell Alien Autopsy – The Truth Behind the Film That Shocked the World, told Need To Know: “Reg sent the fax to me.

“Many of the original faxes I have are no longer viewable as they simply faded with time despite being files away in the dark.

“Reg believed in the authenticity of the alien autopsy film until the day he died.

“To this day people argue about the authenticity of this film and I dare say they will for years to come. There is no doubt that it is a hoax.”

The Roswell incident relates to the alleged recovery of debris from a UFO in the city of Roswell, New Mexico, US, in 1947.

What if the same science used to build thermonuclear weapons could give us unlimited energy — and always could?

Fusion technology and classified weapons research have been inseparably linked since the 1950s. While the public was told fusion was “always 30 years away,” key breakthroughs were buried in military labs, hidden behind national security.

From plasma physics to sky phenomena, it was all right in front of us — but no one was looking.

Awakening of the Guardians and the Role of the Returned of the Anunnaki

July 21, 2025

In 2006, Laura Eisenhower, the great granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, was approached by a secretive group wanting to recruit her to go to Mars.

Eisenhower learned that the Mars project was headed by Dr. Hal Puthoff, who was very familiar with exotic technologies used to ferry personnel and supplies to bases on Mars and other planet and moons in our solar system. This familiarity helps explain Puthoff’s knowledge of more than 10 UFO crash retrieval operations in the USA, and a similar number worldwide that he confirmed in an interview with Joe Rogan.

Eisenhower discussed the role of the Anunnaki in genetically altering humanity, effectively dumbing down our ancient ancestors who possessed 12-strand DNA, after the Anunnaki arrived approximately 300,000 years ago. She describes how ancient practitioners of the mother goddess religions, were defeated by Anunnaki forces led by Enki/Ea and Marduk, and assimilated into the patriarchal belief system dominated by the male sky gods, Anu, Enki, Marduk and Enlil.

Eisenhower asserts that the return of Enki/Ea opens up yet another chapter in the good cop bad cop dynamic played by the Anunnaki in deceiving and manipulating humanity through the ages using genetic engineering and other advanced technologies.

She believes that rather than relying on extraterrestrial saviors, or their representatives, awakened humans need to re-connect with their own internal divine source thereby becoming ‘guardians’—human angels that can help the rest of humanity steer the right pathway between the Scylla and Charybdis of extraterrestrial contact.
