I drove to three mesas on a weekday. I stopped at the skimpy visitor center understanding that one must be polite and gracious. I looked around. I got a sense of the place. I bought a tortilla (just a shell). I promptly left.
as I drove away I wondered if the tortilla was made in the traditional way with siliva but figured it probably wasn't.
that was the same day on a road heading south a native looked over at me as I drove by and then clutched his heart and fell down as if he had a heart attack.
