BUT THEY MUST PROSECUTE!
This is BLATANT mortgage fraud, and it’s possible he committed tax AND insurance fraud as well.
The case is simple:
➡️ Schiff himself signed a notarized affidavit stating the Maryland residence was his primary, when he was a CALIFORNIA Rep.
This gives him a MUCH lower interest rate and better loan terms overall.
➡️ If he deducted the mortgage interest or property tax from his federal income tax filings, that’s TAX FRAUD.
➡️ If he told his insurer this was a primary residence, allowing him a lower premium, that’s INSURANCE FRAUD.
The DOJ will be able to find all this with just a little bit of digging!
