A Qantas flight has made a priority landing in Mildura after suffering technical issues shortly after takeoff.
Sources said the plane had'lost hydraulics on its wing flaps'.
The QF2079 flight from Mildura to Melbourne took off at about 10:40am on Tuesday with 63 people on board.
Soon after, the pilots realised something was wrong and made a plan to safely land the plane.
The pilots completed a series of circuits so the plane could dump fuel before executing a priority landing at Mildura.
'One of our aircraft had to return to Mildura shortly after take-off on Tuesday due to a technical issue,' Qantas said.
'Our pilots are highly trained to handle situations like this, and the flight has since landed safely in Mildura.
'We appreciate this would have been an unsettling experience for customers and thank them for their understanding.'

A man has been arrested after police allegedly found an image on his phone of two young children bound with duct tape.
The 44-year-old man was arrested at a property in Emerald, about 70 km west of Rockhampton, Queensland, on May 26.
Detectives from Queensland's Emerald Criminal Investigation Branch searched the property during an investigation into illegal weapons and illicit drugs.
Police seized several items from the property, including a mobile phone.
The mobile phone was forensically examined and allegedly found to contain an image showing two children, both three years old, bound with duct tape.
Police will allege the man can be seen pointing what appears to be a firearm at the children.
It will also be alleged the image had been forwarded to several other people after it was taken.
It is understood the children were not related to the man but were known to him.
