He told the NVA who he was and who is father was. His father was Admiral of the Pacific Fleet at the time. No Name made 33 propaganda tapes for the NVA. No Name was never tortured, his injuries come from not following procedure when he ejected from his aircraft. Go look at pictures of him returning from Vietnam, he doesn't look like he was starved as some of the other Pow's. It would especially show in his face. He doesn't have that gaunt look.
