Reporter Matt Taibbi Hints at Big Story: Did the Biden Administration Spy on Trump’s 2024 Campaign Also?

Investigative reporter Matt Taibbi joined Megyn Kelly to discuss the bombshell details coming from the DOJ regarding the coordinated efforts to push the Trump-Russia collusion narrative despite knowing it was a hoax.Taibbi hinted that he is working on an additional story that suggests the Biden administration spied on the Trump campaign during the 2024 election.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified a December 2016 presidential briefing revealing Barack Obama knew the Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a hoax.

Last week, CIA Director John Ratcliffe announced that a new CIA report revealed former FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and DNI James Clapper worked together to purposely corrupt the Trump-Russia investigation in 2016 before Trump entered office.

The three corrupt Obama officials even included the Steele Dossier in their quest to “screw Trump” knowing at the time that the Steele Dossier was complete rubbish.

On Friday, it was revealed that Barack Obama knew it was a hoax and he was involved in manufacturing and politicizing the intelligence to create the Trump-Russia collusion canard.

During the interview, Kelly asked Taibbi, “Anyway, you’re reporting that DOJ is also focusing on conspiracy charges, looking at conduct from ’16 through 2024, andalso at evidence that members of Trump’s campaign may have been spied on in 2024. So can you please elaborate on either of those points?”

Taibbi responded,“I can’t say a whole lot, Megan, other than what I wrote, but I’ve heard a couple of different stories.”

“I have one source,” he continued, “who has a very concrete story about this, but I can’t go forward with it yet.”

“But what I can say is that there’s a statute of limitations issue with some of these 2016 behaviors that would be solved if they could prove a continuing pattern of conduct.”

“There were various investigations that took place during the Biden era, some of which the public knows about, some of which they don’t know about. Those, I think, would become tied to a conspiracy charge that would relate to these 2016 behaviors.”

The ‘defender of democracy’ is now openly challenged by his own citizens.

Many were caught by surprise by yesterday’s protests in Kiev, Lvov, Odessa, and other parts of Ukraine – after all, these are the absolute first since the war began three and a half years ago.

But here at TGP we have been closely following the escalating tensions inside the war-torn country.

Meanwhile, on the same Monday, Ukraine’s domestic security agency detained two NABU (Anti-corruption agency) officials on ‘suspicion of links to Russia’.

Finally, yesterday, after the Parliament voted to strip the Anti-Corruption agencies of any real power, it was the final straw, and Massive Protests Erupt Against Zelensky in Ukraine.

At night, Zelensky finally broke his silence – and blamed the situation on Russia.

Euronews reported:

“Thousands of Ukrainians rallied in Kyiv and other cities on Tuesday, urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to veto legislation which critics say undermines the country’s anti-corruption infrastructure.

The protest marked the first major rally against the government in more than three years of Russia’s ongoing, full-scale invasion.

Ukraine’s parliament had passed a bill which tightened oversight of two key anti-corruption bodies – the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO).

Opponents warn the measure could weaken the independence of the agencies and increase political influence over investigations.

Despite public outcry, Zelenskyy reportedly signed the bill into law on Tuesday.”

EU Commissioner Marta Kos criticized the new law.

In the meantime, Military Intelligence Chief Kirilo Budanov, a young and popular leader that reportedly was about to be replaced by Zelensky but saved by US intervention, weighed on the issue.

Kyiv Independent reported:

“Nations torn by infighting will lose, [Budanov] said on July 23, amid a new law that threatens the independence of Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions.”

“‘Ukrainian history has taught us — a nation loses if it is torn apart by internal contradictions’, Budanov said in a post to Telegram.

[…] ‘We have one common trouble, one enemy. Therefore, internal contradictions should be resolved through open dialogue to achieve a single common goal — to defend our country. I am confident that Ukraine will be saved by a strong military and institutions’, Budanov said.”

The Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday that it has adopted the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices' recommendation to remove the mercury-based compound thimerosal from flu vaccines.

Last month, the ACIP voted to limit flu vaccines to only those free of thimerosal. The mercury-containing preservative, largely phased out of childhood vaccines by 2001, still lingers in some multi-dose flu shots. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., on Tuesday signed the advisory board's recommendations, the department said Wednesday.

“After more than two decades of delay, this action fulfills a long-overdue promise to protect our most vulnerable populations from unnecessary mercury exposure,” Kennedy said in a statement. “Injecting any amount of mercury into children when safe, mercury-free alternatives exist defies common sense and public health responsibility. Today, we put safety first.”

“With the U.S. now removing mercury from all vaccines, we urge global health authorities to follow this prudent example for the protection of children worldwide,” he added.

HHS also noted thatvaccine manufacturers confirmedthat they have the capacity to replace multi-dose vials containing mercury==, ensuring adult vaccine supplies and the Vaccines for Children program will remain uninterrupted. In the U.S., 96% of flu vaccines for the 2024-2025 season are already thimerosal-free, and thus, single-dose options are not hard to come by.

The effort to remove thimerosal began in the late 1990s, sparked by growing public and scientific scrutiny of mercury exposure. In 1997, the FDA Modernization Act prompted a review of mercury in medical products, including thimerosal, which had been used since the 1930s to prevent microbial contamination in multi-dose vaccine vials.
