Obama ‘guilty of treason’ – Trump

The US president says he wants to “go after” his predecessor and his top intelligence officials over Russiagate and “rigged elections”

US President Donald Trump has accused Barack Obama of “treason,” promising to “go after” him and his administration’s top intelligence officials over their alleged plot to “rig elections” and stage the Russiagate hoax.

Trump made the remarks while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday. The former US president should be targeted directly by the Department of Justice, Trump stated when asked about the report released by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard last week that alleged Obama administration officials “manufactured intelligence” to falsely accuse Trump of colluding with Russia.

“This was treason. Barack Hussein Obama is the ringleader. Hillary Clinton was right there with him, and so was Sleepy Joe Biden, and so were the rest of them: [former FBI Director James] Comey, [former DNI Director James] Clapper, the whole group,” Trump stated.

“They tried to rig an election, and they got caught. And then they did rig the election in 2020. And then because I knew I won that election by a lot, I did it a third time, and I won in a landslide,” he added.

Gabbard’s report was “like proof, irrefutable proof, that Obama was seditious,” Trump said, accusing his predecessor of “trying to lead a coup.”

“This is the biggest scandal in the history of our country.”

The report, which includes over 100 declassified documents, suggests that Obama’s spy chiefs discarded all intelligence assessments that found no Russian involvement and replaced them with fabricated claims, paving the way for the Russiagate probe, described by Gabbard as a “years-long coup” against Trump.

Obama has strongly denied the allegations, reiterating his stance shortly after the latest Oval Office remarks by Trump. Gabbard’s report contains nothing that“undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes,” Obama’s office said in a statement. (It’s only widely excepted because Obama and ghouls forced the IC agencies to go along with it, when their intelligence disproved his lies.)

“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction*,” it claimed.

(*Oh like the bizarre allegations that Trump, and family, and friends were all agents of Russia. Obama ruined 100’s of not 1000’s of innocent people’s lives. Obama is not going to get away with this, neither will all his mafia friends.)

The general, who is the most popular public figure in Ukraine, was named ambassador to London a month later and has served there with distinction, if quietly….

Zaluzhnyi is now seen as the most credible successor to Zelensky.I have been told by knowledgeable officials in Washington that that job could be his within a few months. Zelensky is on a short list for exile, if President Donald Trump decides to make the call.

If Zelensky refuses to leave his office, as is most likely, an involved US official told me,“He’s going to go by force. The ball is in his court.”

There are many in Washington and in Ukraine who believe that the escalating air war with Russia must end soon, while there’s still a chance to make a settlement with its president, Vladimir Putin.

Pulitzer Prize Winner Seymour Hersh Reports That US May Move to Oust Zelensky, Even by Force – General Zaluzhny Would Be Tasked for Succession

Seymour Hersh is an influential – if highly polarizing – investigative journalist who won the Pulitzer Prize back in 1970 for reporting on the My Lai massacre of civilians during the Vietnam War.

Lately, there’s been a fair amount of criticism of his reliance on anonymous sources, and some of his later revelations, such as on the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage, for example, were met with mixed reactions.

Nevertheless, when Hersh writes, many still pay close attention.

And he has come out on Friday (18) with a rather explosive article called ‘The End for Zelensky?’, in which he reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s leadership is under great pressure, and that signs from Washington indicate that his time in power may be nearing an end.

Hersh goes as far as suggesting that Zelensky could face exile or even forced removal.

This would come under U.S. influence, and the decision would be up to President Donald J. Trump.

Hersh suggests that Zelensky’s fate is in Trump’s hands.

“Zelensky is on a short list for exile, if President Donald Trump decides to make the call. If Zelensky refuses to leave his office, as is most likely, an involved US official told me: ‘He’s going to go by force.’”

US officials believe that an eventual refusal by Zelensky to step down could lead to his removal by force – according to Hersh.

This comes as support for the Kiev regime leader is dropping both domestically and internationally.

The article also alleges there are ongoing secret peace talks between Washington and Ukrainian power brokers to end the war with Russia via a settlement with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“There are many in Washington and in Ukraine who believe that the escalating air war with Russia must end soon, while there’s still a chance to make a settlement with its president, Vladimir Putin.”

General Zaluzhny is seen as a viable replacement.

But what about the day after? The article notes that General Valery Zaluzhny, Ukraine’s former commander-in-chief, is a most viable successor.

Trump questions Kiev’s use of US aid

The president has suggested that billions in cash his predecessor Joe Biden “gave away” may have been embezzled

US President Donald Trump has claimed that billions of dollars in American aid given to Ukraine under his predecessor Joe Bidenmay have been misused.

The US became Kiev’s top foreign backer under the Biden administration, allocating over $170 billion in military and financial aid, according to official data.

Trump, however, has long argued the total is far higher, estimating $350 billion in “equipment and cash” and criticizing Biden for “giving away” money without returns. He reiterated the point at a Republican meeting at the White House on Tuesday, questioning whether Kiev had actually used US aid for defense needs.

“Biden gave away $350 billion worth of equipment or cash. Worse than equipment – cash… They were supposed to buy their own equipment. But I have a feeling they didn’t spend every dollar on the equipment,”Trump said. “We want to find out about that [money], someday, I guess, right?”

Trump’s comments echo growing concerns over corruption in Ukraine.

The country has long struggled with graft, and its Defense Ministry has faced multiple scandals since the conflict with Russia escalated in 2022. Both the US and EU have pressed for audits and stronger anti-corruption measures. In April, US National Security AdviserMichael Waltz urged tighter oversight of aid, calling Ukraine “one of the most corrupt nations in the world.”…

Republicans want to rename Kennedy Center’s opera house after Melania Trump

House appropriators voted to make most of the Kennedy Center’s funding contingent on the name change in their markup of the fiscal 2026 Interior-Environment spending bill.

House Republicans are moving to rename the opera house in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts after first lady Melania Trump.

House appropriators voted 33-25 on Tuesday toadvance language introduced by Rep. Mike Simpson (R-Idaho) that would make most of the Kennedy Center’s funding contingent on the name change in their markup of the fiscal 2026 Interior-Environment spending bill.

The move is just the latest effort by Republicans in Washington to reshape the public face of the Kennedy Center with President Donald Trump back in the White House.

The president in February took over as chair of the iconic theater, firing members of its board and replacing longtime president Deborah Rutter with Richard Grenell, a key White House ally.He also tapped chief of staff Susie Wiles, deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino and second lady Usha Vance to serve as new trustees.

And it’s yet another example of congressional Republicans honoring the president in the wake of his political comeback. They’ve introduced legislation to rename the Washington Dulles International Airport after Trump, get his face on the $100 bill and turn his birthday into an international holiday.

Naming a theater after the first lady “is an excellent way to recognize her appreciation for the arts,” Simpson told POLITICO in a statement.

“As Chairman of the House Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee — which oversees federal funding for capital repairs and operations and maintenance at the Kennedy Center — I am proud to honor her support and commitment in promoting the arts and humanities,” he said.

The committee will likely finish marking up the spending bill on Tuesday night. It provides funding for the Department of the Interior and the Environmental Protection Agency, while also covering institutions including the Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian.

The change is not final; any legislation would then have to pass both chambers of Congress and be signed into law by Trump.

Today, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard declassified and released the 2020 House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence report (HPSCI), that outlines their investigation into the Intelligence Community Joint Analysis Report (JAR) of 2016 and the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) that followed.

I know that’s a lot of acronyms, however, the key element of Director Tulsi Gabbard’s release today is to underscore just how fraudulent the JAR/ICA created in 2016 and 2017 was. The JAR/ICA report was fabricated by the CIA and Intelligence Community to give the appearance of Russia interfering in the election. The declassified HPSCI report takes that fraudulent intelligence analysis apart, step by step.

The JAR/ICA was also used to justify President Obama expelling Russian diplomats, confiscating Russian property, targeting Russian officials for sanctions, and imposing a series of sanctions against various Russian entities, individuals, groups and organizations.All of the Obama’s Russian targeting effort was part of an enhanced IC op to give additional patina of credibility to the fraudulent premise.

In many ways, Russia was collateral damage created by a domestic USA political intelligence operation run by Obama allies in order to attempt to destabilize the incoming administration of President Donald Trump. ¹The framing of both Donald Trump and Russia is going to be a key facet to accept as time moves forward on this story.

A few days later, DNI Tulsi Gabbard begins releasing information that shows both President Trump and President Putin being framed by the U.S. Intelligence Community.

It would appear that President Trump is setting a new baseline for a relationship with Russia. However, first the tables need to be cleared of the historic manipulation and targeting that structurally, and fraudulently, set the course of conflict and antagonism in U.S-Russia relations.

Judge denies Trump admin bid to unseal Jeffrey Epstein grand jury transcripts in Florida

A federal judge on Wednesday denied a request by the Trump administration to unseal the transcripts of grand jury proceedings related to a criminal investigation of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in Florida in the mid-2000s.

The ruling does not affect two other pending requests by the Department of Justice that seek to obtain transcripts of grand jury proceedings related to later federal investigations of Epstein and his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, in New York.

Those separate proceedings led to criminal indictments of them in 2019 and 2020, respectively, in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. The Trump administration filed petitions to unseal transcripts of the grand jury proceeding related to Epstein and Maxwell last week.

The move followed days of criticism of President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi over the DOJ’s decision to withhold from the public investigative evidence about Epstein despite earlier promises it would be released.The DOJ’s petition in U.S. District Court in West Palm Beach, Florida, sought to unseal transcripts of two federal grand juries convened in that court in 2005 and 2007.

Epstein was not charged federally at those times, but he did plead guilty to a Florida state court charge of procuring a person under the age of 18 for prostitution. Epstein’s plea in that case was part of deal he reached with federal prosecutors, who agreed not to prosecute him on federal charges.

The DOJ argued that disclosure of the transcripts — which normally are kept secret — was proper because there was a “strong public interest in the historical investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. The department alsoargued that “many of the rationales supporting grand jury secrecy” under federal criminal procedure rules “no longer apply” because Epstein died in 2019.

Judge Robin Rosenberg, in her denial of that petition, said that an unrelated ruling in 2020 by the 11th U.S.Circuit Court of Appeals held that a district court does not have the power to unseal grand jury recordsin instances not covered by the criminal procedure rule. The circuit handles appeals arising from federal district courts in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia.

Neither argument advanced by the DOJ complies with that exception to the rule, Rosenberg wrote in her decision Wednesday.

“Eleventh Circuit law does not permit this Court to grant the Government’s request; the Court’s hands are tied — a point the Government concedes,” the judge wrote.

However, Rosenberg noted that the DOJ’s requested exception to grand jury secrecy on the grounds of a strong public interest is recognized in just two federal appellate circuits: the 2nd and the 7th.

The 2nd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals handles cases that arise from Manhattan federal court, where the other grand jury probes of Epstein and Maxwell were conducted.

The DOJ had asked Rosenberg to transfer its petition to her in Florida to Manhattan federal court, where the 2nd Circuit’s guidance on grand jury disclosures would apply.

But Rosenberg on Wednesday rejected that request, saying that the DOJ had not met the standards for such a transfer of the petition.
