ABC News story with quotes from those interviewed:
http:// abcnews.go.com/US/dead-accident-involving-train-carrying-gop-members-congress/story?id=52741522
Some names and quotes from those that were on board todays "trainwreck" incident who were potentially targeted:
Rep. Dan Donovan, R-N.Y., told ABC station WABC that the person who died was inside the truck.
>Paid clowns?
Paul Ryan said "It just sometimes reminds you how fragile life can be,"
>This sounds a lot like Comey-code for "that's a damned shame" to me
Rep. Bruce Westerman, R-Ark., was on board and said he knew the seriousness of the violent crash right away. Westerman and Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., who was also on the train, said the impact severed the truck in half and sent the front of the train off the tracks. They estimated the train – which didn't appear to brake upon impact – to be traveling about 50 miles an hour when it struck the truck.
>No slowing down beforehand implies obstacle not stopped on tracks before incident
Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., tweeted that "there were three people inside the truck that was straddling the track and which the train hit." He confirmed that one person died and wrote that one person had minor injuries and another had serious injuries.
>Clowns1, 2 and 3
Rep. Jason Lewis, R-Minn. was transported to a hospital and released after being evaluated for a concussion, according to an aide in his office. An aide tweeted Lewis would take part in the retreat.
>Good guys win with scrapes and bruises, bad guys go home in box and cuffs?
>These House Intel Committee R's were not on train as far as we can tell.

Present:
Representatives Nunes, Conaway, King, LoBiondo, Rooney, Ros-Lehtinen,
Wenstrup, Stewart of Utah, Crawford, Gowdy, Stefanik, Hurd, Schiff, Himes, Sewell, Carson, Speier, Quigley, Swalwell, Castro, and Heck.
Looking at House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, I don't see any matches from train interviews here either:

Did [AS] send in the clowns to crash the train as payback (on other R's indirectly) for partisan memo vote?
Obviously that didn't work out. But one thing that stands out for me is with such high security focused on that train (drones, helos, rail crossings green-lit), why would members of congress immediately jump off the train to assist the injured BEFORE first responders arrived, as the interviews and pics from scene suggest? Wouldn't they be told to stay put until the scene is completely secured? Doesn't smell right.
