JoeLange

@JoeLang51440671

More PAIN for Obama.

This is really important.

As I have said from the beginning, Speaker Johnson was “handpicked” to be Speaker and is not only on “Team Trump” but has been doing exactly what Trump wants him to do.

Reject the clowns who keep bashing him, they know nothing about what’s really happening.

Speaker Johnson was “handpicked” for a reason.

He served on the “House Judiciary Committee” that oversaw all of this corruption by the Obama administration and was investigating it along with his counterpart in the Senate, Chuck Grassley.

Johnson is “read in” on where things are going and so is Grassley.

He served on Trump’s defense team for both impeachments too.

He has seen most of the evidence of treason that we are just now getting to see because of DECLAS.

The fact that this “evidence” is being declassified and made public, means that something has changed.

The investigations are over.

We are preparing the American people for the Prosecution Phase.

The table is being set.

Stop listening to the complainers and whiners who can’t see or understand what’s happening.

Johnson is saying, there must be accountability for this conspiracy for those who “knowingly” perpetuated this “lie” to the American people.

Is Johnson “read in” on most of the plan?

He talks about how Obama corrupted the “institutions” of justice and that they are in the process of “RESTORING” the trust and faith in those “institutions” again.

That’s straight out of the “Counterinsurgency Manual” that the military is using to “restore” the Republic.

One of the biggest aspects of defeating an insurgency, is to “restore” the American people’s faith in government “institutions.”

That “starts” by removing all the insurgency players and “ends” with the PROSECUTION of those players.

The Counterinsurgency strategy:

COUNTERINSURGENCY may be defined as ‘comprehensive civilian and military efforts taken to simultaneously defeat and contain insurgency and address its root causes’.

Comprehensive = complete and including everything that is necessary:

Comprehensive CIVILIAN and MILITARY efforts SIMULTANEOUSLY.

This is important to understand; if you don’t grasp this aspect of the strategy, you will not understand what is happening and why. You’ll also continue to be frustrated by the slow pace of the justice as it unfolds.

The strategy involves simultaneous civilian and military operations. Trump set up Devolution and COG (continuity of government) right before he left office in 2020, so that the plan would continue under Biden. The civilian operations are very public—many playing out in the courts and the media—while the military operations are clandestine.

PURPOSE

COIN differs from other civil-military operations both in the methods employed and in the purpose of the undertaking. The PURPOSE of COIN is to BUILD POPULAR SUPPORT for a government while suppressing or co-opting insurgent movements.

Isn’t that what we’ve been witnessing?

The plan is to build support for the Constitution and rule of law.

We are in the process of building popular support for the courts, who are supposed to be the guardians of the rule of law and our constitutional rights. We have had more wins in the courts over the last 8 and a half years than I can ever remember; overturning Roe v. Wade was monumental, and there are more big wins coming.

Security Sector Reform is a big part of the COIN strategy.

“Indeed, effective SSR (especially reform of the JUSTICE SECTOR) may address many of the grievances that initially fueled the insurgency.”

https://open.substack.com/pub/badlands/p/whats-taking-so-long?r=q8lgy&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post

Where is this all going?

Johnson knows what his role is.

Congress has the power of “oversight” over these three letter agencies and they have been investigating this treason from the beginning and gathering the evidence in “public records.”

But their other role is public EXPOSURE.

Congress is a BULLHORN for the American people and that’s what Johnson is doing now that the investigations behind the scenes are over.

Russia must win or be enslaved – top MP

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has called for unity to achieve military goals in the Ukraine conflict

Russia cannot allow defeat in the Ukraine conflict as it would lead to the country’s “enslavement,” State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has said.

Speaking on Wednesday, Volodin called for national unity to secure victory and said Russia must achieve its military goals to ensure its sovereignty and future.

Moscow maintains that victory in the Ukraine conflict is inevitable. It has criticized continued Western military support to Kiev, arguing that this merely prolongs the fighting without changing the outcome.

President Vladimir Putin has said the conflict will end only when its “root causes” are resolved, including NATO’s expansion toward Russia’s borders, and when Moscow’s security interests are addressed. He has also accused Ukraine’s foreign backers of being uninterested in ending the war and instead using Ukraine to advance their own goals.

Speaking at a Duma session, Volodin declared that Russia could not be “intimidated, broken, or destroyed,” and warned that efforts to defeat it would fail, just as past attempts to “enslave [the country] 80 years ago” had done.

Volodin added that Russia is facing “the full might of NATO,” andclaimed that the Ukrainian people have been “tragically reduced to expendable material” by the Western bloc.

“Everything that is done in Ukraine in the framework of thespecial military operation is aimed at saving the Ukrainian people, saving a country that is close to us. The sooner the neo-Nazi regime flees, the better,” he said.

Russia has demanded the “denazification” of its neighbor, where many historic ultranationalist leaders are widely revered today, as part of a negotiated peace agreement. Moscow has also accused Western governments of deliberately ignoring continued neo-Nazi activity in Ukrainian ranks.

Top NATO officials have said Ukraine should seek to defeat Russia militarily. The bloc continues to supply arms and intelligence to Kiev, even as Russian forces make territorial gains. Moscow claims NATO aims to turn Ukraine into a “military foothold” to contain Russia and poses a threat to its national security.

Armenia ready to place part of territory under US control – Spanish media

The plan reportedly involves a private contractor protecting a strategic route with Azerbaijan

Armenia has quietly agreed to hand over a strategic part of its territory to the US, the Spanish news outlet Periodista Digital has claimed.

The small, landlocked country in the South Caucasus has a longstanding dispute with neighboring, oil-rich Azerbaijan, which in 2023 regained full control over the breakaway region of Karabakh.

On Tuesday, the Spanish publication reported having obtained a copy of a memorandum from unnamed members of the Armenian diaspora in France, outlining the creation of a 42-kilometer (27-mile) corridor through southern Armenia, connecting Azerbaijan with its exclave of Nakhchivan.

The area would reportedly be managed by a US company and protected by around 1,000 armed private contractors, who would be authorized to use force to “preserve the integrity of the corridor.” The arrangement is said to be designed to last 99 years. According to the outlet, the text of thememorandum has been approved by the US, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.

Periodista Digital described the document as “a catastrophe” for Armenia, claiming it would benefit the US, as well as Armenia’s regional rivals Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and strain Yerevan’s relations with France.

In a statement on Wednesday, theArmenian government denied the report, calling it “an element of hybrid warfare and manipulative propaganda,” and dismissing Periodista Digital as a “dubious source.” The US and Azerbaijan have not commented on the matter.

Yerevan and Baku have been engaged in talks to normalize relations, with Azerbaijan demanding Armenia establish a transport corridor to Nakhchivan. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan rejected the proposal earlier this month, stating that the dispute must be resolved based on mutual respect for territorial integrity and equality.

(This is pretty big, it’s been a long running dispute)

Von der Leyen warns Zelensky over risk to Ukraine’s EU bid

The European Commission chief has urged “respect for the rule of law” following Kiev’s crackdown on anti-corruption agencies.

European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen has requested explanations from Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky over the crackdown on the country’s anti-corruption agencies, which has sparked nationwide protests and international backlash. The agencies were seen as key conditions for Kiev's EU membership bid and continued Western aid.

Under the legislation, passed by the Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday and signed by Zelensky hours later, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) wereplaced under the direct control of the Prosecutor General, a political appointee. The controversial law followed security raids on NABU in light of claims by Zelensky that the agency was subject to Russian influence.

Von der Leyen has been in contact with Zelensky, her spokesman Guillaume Mercier told reporters on Wednesday, where she “conveyed her strong concerns about the consequences” of the new law and requested “explanations.”

The legislation “risks weakening strongly the competences and powers of anti-corruption institutions of Ukraine,” Mercier said.

The EC chief has urged “respect for the rule of law” and the “fight against corruption,” he stated, adding “There cannot be a compromise.”

European Council President Antonio Costa reportedly also voiced concern to Zelensky and asked for explanations. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul wrote on X that the development “hampers Ukraine’s way towards the EU.”

The creation of NABU and SAP was one of the requirements set by the European Commission and International Monetary Fundmore than a decade ago to fight high-level corruption in Ukraine. Since then, the two bodies have led far-reaching investigations, including into Zelensky’s circle. The organizations say they now have been stripped of the guarantees that allowed them to operate effectively.

EU Economy Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis told the Financial Timesthat financial aid to Kiev is “conditional on transparency, judicial reforms [and] democratic governments.”

Ukraine was ranked 105th out of 180 countries in Transparency International’s 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index.

(Something very strange about this, is the rogue CIA that are running Kiev and leaders, afraid the U.S. can come in and arrest them? The only reason why this war is ongoing it’s the rogue agents want to destroy Russia. They can’t let it go. There seems to be some mission from Trump administration is in play there. Just my guess)

(KEK like the EU obeys the rule of law! It’s a stupid idea to invite “Ukraine the welfare territory” to be in the EU. They are more corrupt than any place in EU which is saying a lot)

House Oversight Panel Votes to Subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton, Comey, Barr, Garland, Holder, and Mueller in Bombshell Epstein Investigation

by Jim Hᴏft Jul. 24, 2025 8:15 am25

The House Oversight Committee’s subcommittee took aim at the Deep State—voting to subpoena a who’s-who of Washington heavyweights, including Hillary Clinton, former FBI director James Comey, ex–AGs Barr, Garland, Holder, and even Special Counsel Mueller—in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

Led by Republican Rep. Scott Perry (PA) and voted through by an overwhelming voice vote, the motion directs Oversight Chair James Comer (R‑KY) to formally issue subpoenascompelling these top officials to testify and submit documents related to Epstein’s network—and potentially incriminating ties into elite circles.(why are they doing this?)

“I have a motion to subpoena the following individuals to expand the full committees investigation into Miss Maxwell – and the list reads as follows: William Jefferson Clinton, Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton, James Brian Comey, Loretta Elizabeth Lynch, Eric Hampton Holder, Jr., Merrick Brian Garland, Robert Swan Mueller III, William Pelham Barr, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions the third, and Alberto Gonzales. That’s the full list, Mr. Chairman. And that’s the motion,” Perry said.

More from Fox News:

The motion passed by voice vote, meaning there was not an individual roll call.

The subpoenas would actually need to be issued by Comer to be active.

A House Oversight Committee aide told Fox News Digital, “The subpoenas will be issued in the near future.”

It comes after Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., a member of the progressive “Squad,” pushed for a vote on her own motion to subpoena any files related to Epstein.

That motion passed in an 8-to-2 vote, also directing Comer to issue that subpoena.

Republican lawmakers have dealt with a barrage of media scrutiny on Epstein’s case over the last two weeks. It’s a side effect of the fallout over a recent Department of Justice (DOJ) memo effectively declaring the matter closed.

On Wednesday, the House Oversight Subcommittee on Federal Law Enforcementalso voted to subpoena the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all of the Epstein files with three Republicans joining the Democrat motion.

The Gateway Pundit also reported that the House Oversight Committee voted to subpoena Epstein-affiliate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for recruiting and sex-trafficking underage girls for Epstein to groom and abuse.

Chairman Comer announced on Wednesday that he issued the subpoena for a deposition to occur at Federal Correctional Institution Tallahassee on August 11, 2025.

Pam Bondi Forced to Withdraw from CPAC Summit After ‘Sudden Medical Condition’

by Jim Hᴏft Jul. 24, 2025 7:45 am

Attorney General Pam Bondi abruptly dropped off CPAC’s high-profile Summit Against Human Trafficking this Wednesday, claiming she suffered a “torn cornea” and couldn’t make it.

The announcement was read live on stage by Acting Assistant AG Matthew Galeotti.

Galeotti:

“Thank you all for being here with us today and for having me. I do have a note from the Attorney General—Attorney General Pam Bondi—that I wanted to share, which is the following:

‘I’m sorry to miss all of my CPAC friends today, especially Matt and Mercy Schlapp, Senator Blackburn, and the wonderful team at the Tim Tebow Foundation.Unfortunately, I am recovering from a recently torn cornea, which is preventing me from being with you. I truly wish I was able to join you and support all of the work being done on this critical issue.'”

The announcement came just hours after WSJ allegations that she’d told President Trump his name appears multiple times in Jeffrey Epstein’s sealed file trove.

The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday dropped another Trump-Epstein hit piece after the DOJ asked three different courts to unseal grand jury transcripts related to Epstein’s sex trafficking cases.

According to The Wall Street Journal, US Attorney General Pam Bondi told President Trump in May that he is mentioned in the Epstein files.

However, Bondi said the information about the several people who appeared in the Epstein files is “unverified hearsay.”

“When Justice Department officials reviewed what Attorney General Pam Bondi called a “truckload” of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that Donald Trump’s name appeared multiple times, according to senior administration officials,” The Wall Street Journal reported.

“In May, Bondi and her deputy informed the president at a meeting in the White House that his name was in the Epstein files, the officials said. Many other high-profile figures were also named, Trump was told. Being mentioned in the records isn’t a sign of wrongdoing,” WSJ said.

The Justice Department responded with fire.

“This is a collection of falsehoods and innuendo designed to push a bullshit narrative and drive clicks,”according to Gates McGavick.

DOJ Announces Formation of “Strike Force to Assess ODNI Evidence” Against Former Intel Officials

July 23, 2025 | Sundance |

Main Justice has announced the formation of a DOJ strike force to assemble and assess the evidence provided by Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, against former intelligence and government officials.

This will require the DOJ to take a new approach, extracting information from multiple silos and then overlaying context to the content therein.

That’s essentially the new approach that DNI Gabbard has taken to break down the silo defenses, and this is the first time since I’ve been outlining how they self-protect that someone (DNI) has actually done the extracting and cross-referencing.

Dept of Justice – WASHINGTON – Today, the Department of Justice announced the formation of a Strike Force to assess the evidence publicized by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and investigate potential next legal steps which might stem from DNI Gabbard’s disclosures.

This Department takes alleged weaponization of the intelligence community with the utmost seriousness.

Upon the formation of the Strike Force, Attorney General Pamela Bondi stated:

“The Department of Justice is proud to work with my friend Director Gabbard and we are grateful for her partnership in delivering accountability for the American people. We will investigate these troubling disclosures fully and leave no stone unturned to deliver justice.” (LINK)

Don’t underestimate how radical and challenging this type of an approach is going to be.

OIG Michael Horowitz never could attempt it (not authorized), SC John Durham was not permitted to do it (not authorized); the House Select Sub-Committee on Govt Weaponization ran away with hair on fire at even the suggestion of doing it (ask me how I know), andno modern internal investigative unit has ever been allowed to extract national security information from multiple IC institutions, and review it in context.

The DC intel silos are built so their lack of sharing creates a natural defense mechanism; there is no cross-reference capability.DNI Tulsi Gabbard has the unique ability -due to her position- of reaching into each IC silo regardless of their effort to stop her. That’s what has led to this point.

If the DOJ is successful, things could change; but that’s a very big ‘if’.

The entire mechanism of the USIC, led by defenses fromthe Senate Intel Committee (Cotton), will do everything to stop any internal extraction and review of their silo information.

“National security” claims will run rampant. This will be a heavy lift requiring Executive Office support and coordination at every level.

If you want to understand how difficult this type of thing is, listen to this: https://youtu.be/5uGIxEUlzIo

Howard Lutnick Discusses Massive New Trade Agreement with Japan with Exceptional Potential

July 23, 2025 | Sundance |

The Japanese essentially did not want to face a 25% tariff on automobiles exported to the USA. At the same time, they did not want to permit full USA access to several sectors of their market. The solution is quite remarkable.

Japan agrees to be the bank, to essentially finance any national security priority of President Trump to the tune of $55o billion. In return, Japan gets a 15% tariff on automobiles, and 10% return on the profit of the ¹business they finance in the U.S. Japan is essentially purchasing a lower tariff rate.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “We just completed a massive Deal with Japan, perhaps the largest Deal ever made. Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 Billion Dollars into the United States, which will receive 90% of the Profits. This Deal will create Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs — There has never been anything like it. Perhaps most importantly, Japan will open their Country to Trade including Cars and Trucks, Rice and certain other Agricultural Products, and other things. Japan will pay Reciprocal Tariffs to the United States of 15%. This is a very exciting time for the United States of America, and especially for the fact that we will continue to always have a great relationship with the Country of Japan. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

EXAMPLE:President Trump wants generic drug manufacturing in the USA. U.S. company ‘Main Street Drugs’ agrees to build a $100 billion manufacturing plant.Japan finances the building and company creation. Main Street Drugs owns and operates the business, keeps 90% of the profits, Japan gets 10%.

Trump (USA) has $450 billion in financing left to spend on the next priority, perhaps a railroad connection or transit system.

Pretty cool, solution.

UnitedHealth says it is cooperating with DOJ investigation into Medicare billing practices

THU, JUL 24 20258:34 AM

Annika Kim Constantino

KEY POINTS

• UnitedHealth Group revealed it is facing a Justice Department criminal and civil investigation over its Medicare billing practices, adding to a string of setbacks for a company that owns America’s largest and most powerful private insurer.

• UnitedHealth also said it has launched a third-party review of its business policies and performance metrics.

• It comes after a tumultuous last year for UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest and most powerful private health insurer.

UnitedHealth Group revealed Thursday it is facing a Department of Justice investigation over its Medicare billing practices, adding to a string of setbacks for a company that owns the nation’s largest and most powerful private insurer.

In a securities filing, the company said it has started complying with formal criminal and civil requests from the DOJ, and that it reached out to the department after reports of the probes surfaced.UnitedHealth also said it has launched a third-party review of its business policies and performance metrics.

The company told CNBC that it expects to complete that review towards the end of the third quarter.

In the filing, UnitedHealth said it “has full confidence in its practices and is committed to working cooperatively with the Department throughout this process.”

UnitedHealth Group shares dropped around 2% on Thursday. The company’s executives will likely face questions about the probe during its second-quarter earnings call on July 29.

Jared Holz, Mizuho Securities health care strategist, said in an email to clients on Thursday that the announcement is “not shocking,” =but noted that the company previously denied DOJ investigation claims==. He said UnitedHealth’s decision to admit to the probe and cooperate with the department “all sounds logical as it moves forward with a new CEO.”

The company announced the abrupt departure of former CEO Andrew Witty in May.

UnitedHealth’s announcement on Thursday comes after the Wall Street Journal reported in May that the Department of Justice is conducting a criminal investigation into the health-care giant over possible Medicare fraud. In response at the time, the company said it stands “by the integrity of our Medicare Advantage program.”

In July, the Journal also reported that the DOJ interviewed several doctors about UnitedHealth’s practices and whether they felt pressured to submit claims for certain conditions that bolstered payments from the Medicare Advantage program to the company.

That marked the second time this year that the insurer’s Medicare Advantage business has come under federal scrutiny. The Journal also reported in February that the DOJ is conducting a civil investigation into whether the company inflated diagnoses to trigger extra payments to its Medicare Advantage plans.

But on Thursday, UnitedHealth said independent audits by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services “confirm” that the company’s practices are “among the most accurate in the industry.”

UnitedHealth also pointed to a special master’s recommendation in March in favor of the company in a yearslong legal battle with the DOJ that began with a whistleblower who alleged the company illegally withheld at least $2 billion through the Medicare Advantage program. The special master assigned to the case by a judge said the DOJ lacked evidence.

UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare and retirement segment, which includes the Medicare Advantage business, is UnitedHealth Group’s largest revenue driver, raking in $139 billion in sales last year.

The update in the probe comes after a tumultuous last year for UnitedHealthcare. Shares of UnitedHealthcare’s parent company, UnitedHealth Group, are down more than 42% for the year after it suspended its 2025 forecast amid skyrocketing medical costs, announced the surprise exit of Witty and grappled with the reported probe into its Medicare Advantage business.

The company’s 2024 wasn’t any easier, marked by a historic cyberattack and the torrent of public blowback after the murder of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO Brian Thompson.

(UHC has been ripping off Medicare and Medicaid for literally years. They been sued so many times they don’t care. They just go back to doing it.)

Farage: We Are Facing Societal Collapse, I Will Fix Britain Like Rudy Giuliani Fixed New York

Oliver JJ Lane24 Jul 2025

Brexit leader and aspirant Prime Minister Nigel Farage launched his ‘Britain is Lawless’ campaign this week, warning of a collapse of government legitimacy as the public see through the lies as crime soars apparently unchallenged.

“We live increasingly in a lawless Britain… most people think that Britain has become lawless”,said Nigel Farage on Monday as he launched his party platform on law and order.Stating the country needs to leave the European Court of Human Rights to make effective criminal deterrence possible and turn around a descent into collapse, the Reform UK leader unveiled a raft of policies including outsourcing to foreign jails and a hard-line three-strikes rule.

Expressing the scale of the damage already done to Britain, once one of the most peaceful and best-policed nations on earth, Mr Farage said reports The Daily Mail:“We’re actually facing, in many parts of our country, nothing short of societal collapse. People are scared to go out to the shops, scared to let their kids out. That is a society that is degraded, and it’s happening very, very rapidly”.

At his press conference Mr Farage said a major factor in thecollapse of the legitimacy of the state is the government telling the public that things are getting better, while anyone can see the truth with their own eyes. He said: “huge numbers of law-abiding, taxpaying Britons have also lost respect for the police but in a different way. The idea, the concept that we’re living in a system of two-tier policing and two-tier justice under two-tier Keir has really taken hold.”

Indeed, the establishment reflexively responded on those lines after Farage said ordinary people felt the country was less safe, haranguing him and his supporters for having made such a claim.

Attacking the de facto legalisation of public drug taking and shoplifting — and noting that one in three Londoners have now been victims of mobile phone theft— Farage promised a putative future Reform government would be “the toughest party on law and order and on crime that this country has ever seen”, working to halve crime in one parliament.

This means “zero tolerance policing” with every crime, no matter how small, prosecuted, and a return to stop and search. The practice of police stopping members of the public for knife searches in high-crime areas has been all but abandoned now after years of activism decrying the practice as racist, yet Mr Farage said it had to come back with such force it reaches “saturation point until we drive knives off the street”.

Name-checking erstwhile New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, well known for having turned around the fortunes of ‘Fear City’ New York with the broken windows theory of policing even the smallest transgressions to express an unmistakable message that crime will no longer be tolerated. Mr Farage said: “we are borrowing from the Giuliani playbook, unashamedly, I think what Rudy Giuliani did to New York in the 1990s was nothing short of a blooming miracle.

“And as someone who spent over 20 years working for American companies, I was a regular transatlantic commuter, and I saw what one inspired, brave leader with a New York Police Department that wanted to work with him… I saw what could happen, what the potential was. I believe London needs a Giuliani, not a Sadiq Khan.”

Arresting people for comparatively minor crimes like shoplifting wouldn’t mean immediately releasing them back onto the streets to offend again, either, Mr Farage said, saying a Reform government would immediately set the Army to building a network of temporary prisons on military land. As soon as a suspected criminal was caught shoplifting, he said, they would immediately be marched off to a converted Army base.

Prisons would still perform their traditional role of rehabilitation and deterrence, Mr Farage said, but with a three-strikes policy, he said a Reform government would remove habitual criminals from the public realm permanently with life sentences on the third offence. The cost of this would be ameliorated by buying prison spaces abroad in less expensive countries, like El Salvador or Estonia.

Trump’s DHS Oversees 400% Increase in Detainers for Criminal Illegal Aliens in Sanctuary New York City

John Binder23 Jul 2025

President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has overseen a massive surge in detainer requests for criminal illegal aliens accused and convicted of crimes in the sanctuary city of New York City.

On Wednesday, DHS officials revealed that since Jan. 20, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued 6,025 detainers for illegal aliens in New York City. Detainers are requests for local law enforcement to hold an illegal alien until they can be transferred to ICE custody.

For perspective, in former President Joe Biden’s full four years in office, ICE agents issued less than 9,500 detainers for illegal aliens in New York City — indicating that such requests have increased more than 400 percent under Trump.

Despite the huge increase in detainers, New York City officials have only honored a handful, according to DHS officials.

“In just six months, ICE has issued over 6,000 detainers in NYC alone — that’s a more than 400 percent increase in the number of detainers lodged under Biden,” DHS’s Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement:

When sanctuary politicians like Mayor Eric Adams ignore ICE detainers, they are protecting criminal illegal aliens at the expense of American citizens. These are barbaric criminals with prior convictions for rape, murder, drug trafficking, and instead of holding them for ICE, sanctuary politicians release them back into your communities. These reckless policies have deadly consequences.

[Emphasis added]

McLaughlin pointed to two illegal aliens who are accused of attempting to murder an off-duty Customs and Border Protection officer after they were released into the United States interior by the Biden administration and repeatedly shielded from ICE thanks to New York City’s sanctuary policy.

Earlier this year, in testimony to the House Judiciary’s Immigration Subcommittee, National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE) President RJ Hauman revealed that some 25,000 criminal illegal aliens were shielded from federal immigration enforcement thanks to sanctuary jurisdictions from October 2022 through February 2025.

“The American people spoke loud and clear in November. It’s time for Congress to wake up, shift into Trump gear, and act decisively —end sanctuary cities for good and launch mass deportations now,” Hauman told the subcommittee.

Supreme Court sides with Trump administration in battle over ability to remove agency commissioners

By Amy Howe

on Jul 23, 2025

=The Supreme Court on Wednesday cleared the way for the Trump administration to remove three of the five members of the Consumer Product Safety Commission from office while their challenges to their firings continue.

In a brief unsigned order, the justices blocked, at least for now, a ruling by a federal judge in Maryland that had directed the Trump administration to reinstate the three commissioners, who were appointed by then-President Joe Biden. The majority explained thatthe case was “squarely controlled” by its May 22 ruling that allowed Trump to remove board membersof the National Labor Relations Board and the Merits Systems Protection Board.

Justice Elena Kagan dissented, in an opinion joined by Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson. “By allowing the President to remove Commissioners for no reason other than their party affiliation,” Kagan contended, “the majority has negated Congress’s choice of agency bipartisanship and independence.”

The dispute began in early May, when the three commissioners – Mary Boyle, Alexander Hoehn-Saric, and Richard Trumka – were notified that they had been fired from their positions. Under the laws creating the CPSC, a commissioner can only be removed by the president “for neglect of duty or malfeasance in office.”

Boyle, Hoehn-Saric, and Trumka went to federal court, where they argued that the Trump administration’s attempt to fire them without cause violated the law.

U.S. District Judge Matthew Maddox agreed and issued an order requiring the Trump administration to reinstate the three commissioners. He relied on the Supreme Court’s 1935 decision in Humphrey’s Executor v. United States, in which the justices ruled that although the president can normally fire subordinates for any reason, Congress can create independent, multi-member regulatory agencies with commissioners who can only be removed for cause. That ruling, Maddox emphasized, not only “remains good law and is binding on” district judges, but, he concluded, it also applies to the CPSC.

After the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit declined to put Maddox’s order on hold, the Trump administration came to the Supreme Court on July 2, asking the justices to intervene. U.S. Solicitor General D. John Sauerpointed to an order issued by the court in late May that had allowed the president to remove members of the National Labor Relations Board and the Merit Systems Protection Board while their challenges to their firings move forward. That order, Sauer contended, “squarely controls” the commissioners’ case. By ordering the reinstatement of the three commissioners, Sauer argued, Maddox “has sown chaos and dysfunction” at the CPSC, warranting the court’s “immediate intervention.”

In a filing on July 11, the commissioners urged the justices to leave Maddox’s order in place – and allow them to remain in their jobs. Doing so, they told the court, would preserve the status quo, because they have been back at work since June 13; before that, they added, they served for four months without any complaints before the Trump administration attempted to fire them.

On Wednesday afternoon, the majority granted the Trump administration’s request to pause Maddox’s order while litigation continues. The court’s brief order acknowledged that Trump v. Wilcox, its ruling in the case of the MSPB and NLRB board members, was only an “interim” ruling that was “not conclusive as to the merits” of the dispute. However, it continued, such interim orders nonetheless “inform how a court should exercise its” discretion in similar cases.

The decision to grant the Trump administration’s request to be able to fire the MSPB and NLRB board members, the majority explained, “reflected ‘our judgment that the Government faces greater risk of harm from an order allowing a removed officer to continue exercising the executive power than a wrongfully removed officer faces from being unable to perform her statutory duty.’” That reasoning applies equally to the CPSC commissioners, the majority wrote, when the CPSC “exercises executive power in a similar manner as the” NLRB, “and the case does not otherwise differ from Wilcox in any pertinent respect.”

In her dissent,Kagan decried what she characterized as the court’s repeated use of the emergency docket “to destroy the independence of an independent agency, as established by Congress.”

They lefties never read or understood the Constitution, it’s called Executive Powerall three should go to work for NGOs!

All these guests are saying Obama will not be charged with treason. I disagree with them because I’m sure Trump and team have been consulting with great legal minds ever since Tulsi found the information. And Trump would not throw that out casually, people think he makes things up, but he wouldn’t make this up with such a serious and possible life ending crime. I think Trump will be proven right. And Tulsi definitely not say that because she’s stated I’m not a lawyer, so the whole team consulted with lawyers
