He said he built a much bigger hotel with "marble bathrooms" for $200 million.

Did you catch how Trump “used” Powell to carry his message and he didn’t even know it?
It was the perfect setup.
Stagecraft at its finest.
First Senator Scott delivers his well rehearsed “line” about being concerned about the cost overruns.
Then Trump sets the “bait.”
He announces that the cost overruns have increased from $2.7 billion to $3.1 billion now.
Watch Powell’s face.

He’s in disbelief.
Trump then produces the “evidence” from his pocket and hands it to Powell who quickly reads it and then disagrees.
The $3.1 billion price tag includes the building they had renovated just five years ago.
Powell feels vindicated, the media think Powell got the best of Trump.

But the American people sitting at home watching, ask this question….
“Why are they building a palace that costs $2.7 billion and has massive cost overruns when they just renovated a building five years ago?”
The American people are left wondering why they are suffering under high interest rates while the FED is building a new palace for themselves.
Trump just made the FED look like rich “overlords,” who aren’t affected by high interest rates and inflation.
Powell didn’t even know he was being played. 😆😆
