'Aggressive mandate' of Covid vaccines was 'probably a bad idea' as new study reveals WHO mandated blanket vaccination saved 'fewer lives than expected'

The 'aggressive mandate' of Covid vaccines has been blasted as a 'bad idea' by experts after a new study revealed it saved less lives than predicted.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) claimed that the jabs prevented 14.4million deaths just in the first year, with some estimating up to 20million.

However, new research by Stanford University and Italian doctors revealed the true number is closer to 2.5million.

The team estimated that nine out of ten prevented deaths were in the over-60s, while it only saved 299 people under the age of 20 and 1,808 youngsters between 20 and 30 globally.

John Ioannidis, Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and the first author, said: 'Targeting the populations who would get the vast majority of the benefit and letting alone those with questionable risk-benefit and cost-benefit makes a lot of sense.

'Aggressive mandates and the zealotry to vaccinate everyone at all cost were probably a bad idea.'

Overall 5,400 people needed to be vaccinated to save one life but in the under-30s this figure rose to 100,000 jabs, the paper suggests.

The over-70s made up nearly 70 per cent of the lives saved, while the 60 to 70s accounted for a further 20 per cent.

Meanwhile, under-20s made up just 0.01 per cent of lives saved and 20 to 30s were 0.07 per cent

Researchers concluded that although vaccines had a 'substantial benefit' on global mortality, it was 'mostly limited' to older people.

More than 23 billion doses of the vaccine have been administered since its roll out in 2021.

But there have been growing concerns over its harms, particularly for young people, and how it may not be worth it for a population who is at the lowest risk of death.

US scientists from Yale University identified an alarming syndrome linked to mRNA jabs, those made by the likes of Pfizer and Moderna.

Called 'post-vaccination syndrome', the condition appears to cause brain fog, dizziness, tinnitus and exercise intolerance, the researchers reported.

Some sufferers also show distinct biological changes, including differences in immune cells and the presence of coronavirus proteins in their blood, years after taking the shot.

Nine Indicted in Illegal Gambling Ring Worth Over $9.5 Million

Nine individuals have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their alleged involvement in an illegal gambling conspiracy occurring at six locations in southwest Missouri. Each of the defendants face multiple charges in the 72-count indictment.

Rahulkumar D. Patel, 40, a citizen of India residing in the state of Washington, Manishkumar M. Patel, 44, a citizen of India residing in the state of Georgia, Mitulkumar M. Barot, 40, of Georgia, Sunilkumar N. Patel, 52, a citizen of India residing in the state of New York, Tushar R. Patel, 39, of Georgia, Azghar Ali, 51, of New York, Harshadkumar S. Chaudhari, 38, a citizen of India, residing in Colorado, Vipul A. Patel, 40, of Arkansas, and Mohammed Iphtekar Ali Ajgar, 50, of Georgia were each charged in a 72-count superseding indictment returned under seal by a federal grand jury in Springfield on May 14, 2025. The superseding indictment replaces an indictment returned against Rahulkumar D. Patel, on Dec. 10, 2024, and includes additional charges and defendants. The superseding indictment was unsealed and made public following the arrest of several defendants and in advance of certain defendants’ arraignments on July 23 and 24, 2025.

“Illegal gambling operations affect the citizens of the neighborhoods and communities where they are located as well as the local economy. We worked closely with our law enforcement partners to shut down this criminal conspiracy and bring those responsible to justice. This case is an example of what can be accomplished when law enforcement agencies work together to tackle organized criminal activity,” said Acting United States Attorney Jeff Ray.

“What began as a local investigation quickly expanded into a large, multi-jurisdictional case resulting in numerous indictments and a significant positive impact across our community,” Springfield Police Chief Paul Williams said. “We’re grateful for the strong partnerships we have with federal agencies that made it possible to build a case of this scale.”

“This wasn’t some low-level gambling scheme. It was an organized, multi-million-dollar criminal network that operated brazenly and believed it could stay one step ahead of law enforcement,” said ICE Homeland Security Investigations Kansas City Special Agent in Charge Mark Zito. “They were mistaken. Through precise coordination, relentless investigation, and cross-agency teamwork, we dismantled their operation piece by piece-locally and overseas. To those still involved in this kind of crime: we’re watching, we’re tracking, and we will shut you down.”

“Today’s charges reflect the dedication of law enforcement – especially in Springfield, Joplin, and across Southwest Missouri - to hold those who violate the law accountable. We especially thank and commend our law enforcement partners for their persistent and unwavering commitment to this case,” said Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Stephen Cyrus.

The federal indictment charges all nine defendants with one count each of participating in a conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business, and operating illegal gambling businesses from July 1, 2022, to May 13, 2025. In addition to the conspiracy counts, all nine defendants were charged with at least one count of wire fraud, and eight defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Former Commissioner of Virgin Islands Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation and Co-Conspirator Convicted in Bribery Scheme

St. Thomas, USVI — Acting U.S. Attorney Adam F. Sleeper announced today that former Commissioner of Virgin Islands Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation Calvert White, 49, of St. Thomas, and Benjamin Hendricks, 62, also of St. Thomas, were convicted of Honest Services Wire Fraud and Federal Programs Bribery following a four day jury trial.

“No one is above the law,” said Acting United States Attorney Adam Sleeper. “Today’s convictions show that even high-ranking government officials will be held accountable for engaging in criminal misconduct. Our community deserves better.”

“Public corruption erodes the very fabric of our society. The community deserves honesty and integrity from public officials,” stated FBI Special Agent in Charge Devin Kowalski. “The FBI follows the facts no matter where they lead. Our mission is simple but powerful: to protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States. Every person in the Virgin Islands is included in that promise. I want to thank our dedicated FBI agents and personnel here in the Virgin Islands who worked relentlessly on this investigation as well as our partners at the United States Attorney’s Office and the Public Integrity Section. We encourage anyone with information on federal crimes to contact us at 1-800-CALL-FBI or online at Tips.FBI.Gov. Tipsters may remain anonymous.”

According to evidence admitted at trial, White solicited and accepted a bribe from a then-government contractor, David Whitaker, through Hendricks, who acted as an intermediary. The scheme began in at least December 2023 and continued until the defendants were approached in June 2024. In exchange for the bribe paid by Whitaker, White agreed to assist Whitaker in obtaining a contract budgeted for $1.6 million with SP&R. White, amongst other acts, provided confidential bid information to Whitaker and took official action to encourage the awarding of the contract to Whitaker. Hendricks served as a middleman for the payments and facilitated the bribery scheme.

The offense of Honest Services Wire Fraud carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, and the offense of Federal Programs Bribery carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

The FBI San Juan Field Office, St. Thomas Resident Agency investigated the case. Trial Attorneys Alexandre Dempsey and Lina Peng of the Criminal Division’s Public Integrity Section and Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Conley for the District of the Virgin Islands are prosecuting the case.

Former Krum band director pleads guilty to 11 counts of sexual misconduct

In an amended indictment, Turner was accused of indecency with a male child under the age of 17 in August 1998, and for two counts of sexual assault of the same child in August 1998. The original indictment reported that the incidents had taken place in 1996, 1997 and 1998.

Court documents show that Turner is permitted unsupervised contact with her grandchildren but can’t be in the company of children under age 18 without supervision otherwise. She is barred from supervising or taking part in programs with participants under 18 years of age. She is barred from being or living within 1,000 feet of facilities where children commonly gather.

The deferred adjudication also bars Turner from accessing social networking websites and requires her to submit to forensic searches of her personal computer.

Turner worked for Krum ISD as a fine arts consultant from 1991 until her arrest. In 2021, the Krum ISD Education Foundation awarded her a grant for more than $8,000 to launch an after-school piano club for children in third through fifth grade at Blanche Dodd Elementary School.

The Texas Education Agency in April revoked Turner’s teaching certificate, which qualified her to teach music to students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The deferred adjudication also requires Turner to “surrender all teaching licenses.”

If Turner successfully follows the terms of her probation, she will not be formally convicted. If she does not, the judge could convict her of the 11 counts.

Ghislaine Maxwell Has Been Granted Limited Immunity by the DOJ To Be Interviewed: REPORT

“The immunity allowed Maxwell to freely answer Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s questions without fear that her responses could later be used against her, the sources said.

The so-called proffer immunity is commonly granted to individuals [that] prosecutors are seeking to make cooperators in a criminal case. Maxwell has already been tried, convicted and sentenced for sex trafficking underage girls.”

Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, told ABC News afterward, that ‘There have been no asks and no promises’, and that she was asked about ‘maybe 100 different people’ during her interview with the deputy attorney general – and answered every question.

Markus: “We haven’t asked for anything. This is not a situation where we are asking for anything in return for testimony or anything like that. Of course, everybody knows Ms. Maxwell would welcome any relief.”

Deputy AG Blanche has vowed to reveal what he learned from Maxwell ‘at the appropriate time’.

As for President Donald J. Trump, he has stressed that he has the power to pardon Maxwell, but said that now ‘it is not the time’ for discussing that.

New Jersey rocked by 7 shallow earthquakes in 17 hours: residents shaken by loud boom

Morris County, New Jersey logged seven shallow earthquakes inside a 17-hour window on July 21. All registered between M0.7 and M2.0. The strongest hit at 21:00 EDT, clocking M2.0 just southeast of Randolph. Depths held steady around 5 km. No injuries. No damage. But residents heard it. Felt it. Called it in. The Morris County Office of Emergency Management confirmed multiple 911 reports of loud booms and light shaking. One caller described it as “something huge fell on my house.” Another said the couch jumped.

The Ramapo Fault is the likely culprit. It runs beneath the region, stretching over 185 miles between the Appalachian Mountains and the Piedmont. It’s not a high-frequency zone, but it’s known for intraplate seismicity. The USGS flagged the swarm as unrelated to the M4.8 quake that hit New Jersey in April 2024. That one followed a typical aftershock pattern. This swarm didn’t.

The first tremor struck at 05:40 EDT. The last came at 23:25 EDT. All seven were shallow. All clustered near Randolph and Mendham. The final quake measured M1.1. Emergency services stayed on alert but reported no structural impact. The Watchers confirmed the sequence and noted the swarm’s unusual pacing. EarthquakeTrack shows Randolph has logged 19 quakes in the past year, but none in this tight of a cluster.

The Ramapo Fault has history. It’s been quiet. But it’s not dormant. And shallow quakes carry sound. That’s why residents heard the boom. It wasn’t thunder. It wasn’t construction. It was the ground.

House just subpoenaed Trump and Clinton Epstein files. Maxwell set to give prison testimony. Trump’s poll numbers with independents crater.

The Epstein story just split wide open, and the public is watching what both parties do with the fuse.

The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed Trump-era DOJ records naming both Trump and the Clintons in the Epstein files. Ghislaine Maxwell is expected to testify under oath from prison on August 11. Behind closed doors, Dan Bongino reportedly told staffers that the DOJ’s decision to keep these files sealed “blew up” his credibility with the base. That’s coming from someone who once worked Secret Service for Bush and Obama and rode MAGA media to stardom.

The bigger story? Maxwell has never been interviewed by federal or state prosecutors. Not once. No press. No questioning. Nothing.

Key takeaways getting buried:

• DOJ informed Trump privately about his name appearing in sealed records.

• House Oversight voted 8 to 2 to issue subpoenas to the DOJ and the Clintons.

• Maxwell’s testimony will be taken from federal prison.

• Despite leaks, no Epstein co-conspirators have faced charges beyond Maxwell.

• A new Gallup poll shows Trump’s approval among independents down to 29%, a sharp fall tied to secrecy over Epstein, debt, and foreign aid.

A retired JAG officer in Florida told a local radio show, “If Ghislaine still hasn’t been questioned, then the fix was always in.” That’s the part no one wants to say out loud. Maxwell’s silence has been protected for years. Now that both parties are implicated, the media has gone quiet.

This isn’t about planes and party photos. It’s about the systemic shielding of power. Voters know it. Polls reflect it. The question is whether Congress and the press are willing to follow it all the way through.
