Anons - how exactly do redactions work? Is it a single person who decides what to redact? Or is it several people working together? Is there a single person who is responsible for signing off on the redactions? Is there any oversight?

Personally, I think it should be a federal crime to redact something as a CYA for a person or party and for political purposes. A redaction should be done only for the purpose of national security. Without accountability and consequences to those who conduct the redacting, this CYA redaction BS will continue.
