99 Ukrainian drones shot down overnight – Moscow

27 Jul, 2025 10:17

Nearly 100 Ukrainian drones were intercepted in Russian airspace overnight, the country’s Defense Ministry reported on Sunday.

The large-scale raid comes as Kiev continues to escalate its use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) despite renewed diplomatic contacts with Moscow.

According to the ministry, 67 drones were shot down over Bryansk, Smolensk, and Kaluga regions.

Another 30 UAVs were intercepted in the south of Russia, targeting Volgograd, Rostov, Voronezh, and Kursk regions, as well as the Crimean Peninsula.

Several others were downed near Moscow and within Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, and Tambov regions.

Regional authorities have reported no casualties or significant damage. Acting Governor of Rostov Region Yury Slyusar confirmed there were no injuries.

Smolensk Governor Vasily Anokhin acknowledged the raid but said there was no immediate information about damage or victims.

In Volgograd Region, drone debris damaged a section of overhead electric lines on the railway in Oktyabrsky District, according to local officials.

Ukraine has carried out repeated UAV strikes deep into Russian territory for several months, often striking residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

The Kremlin has condemned the attacks as “terrorist actions” that deliberately target civilians.

The latest incident follows a new round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, which was held in Istanbul earlier this week.

While no ceasefire was reached, the two sides made progress on humanitarian issues, including agreements on the exchange of prisoners of war and civilians.

Russia has reiterated its openness to a diplomatic solution, but insists any deal must address what it describes as the root causes of the conflict and its long-standing security concerns.

WATCH Russian war correspondent dodge Ukrainian suicide drone

26 Jul, 2025 21:16

Russian war correspondent Andrey Filatov on Saturday published dramatic video footage of him narrowly dodging a Ukrainian first-person-view (FPV) suicide drone that exploded just a few meters away from the journalist.

The day before, multiple Ukrainian outlets reported that he went missing on the front lines of the conflict.

On Saturday, Filatov published a video that showed him riding a motorcycle while being pursued by a Ukrainian suicide drone. When warned of an incoming UAV, he turns the motorbike aside and ducks as it whirrs past and explodes just a few meters ahead of him.

According to the journalist, he was checking a radio interference blind spot along a Russian logistics route, which was created when an electronic jammer post along it was moved. This made the area vulnerable to Ukrainian radio-controlled drones.

“[Ukrainian forces] began to see further, and the road ended up in radio shadow,” he wrote in a Telegram post on Saturday. He rode too far ahead of his companions, who had a jamming unit mounted on their car, and had to “dodge” the drone, Filatov explained.

The development of jamming technology has made radio-controlled drones far less effective and has increasingly forced both sides in the Ukraine conflict to use optic cable-controlled UAVs. These drones are slower, but are entirely immune to radio interference.

The area where Filatov was attacked is situated along the Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) sector of the frontline, where Russian forces are advancing to encircle the major Ukrainian logistics hub city.

Drone Strike on Volgograd Power Substation Disrupts Russian Rail and Military Logistics

July 27, 2025, 9:06 am

In the early hours of July 27, drones attacked an electrical substation near a railway in the Russian settlement of Oktyabrsky, Volgograd region.

Local residents reported explosions and a fire, and footage from the scene quickly appeared on social media.

Based on geolocation, the strike reportedly targeted a substation supplying power to railway lines. The information was also confirmed by Russian media and several Telegram channels.

The governor of the Volgograd region, Andrei Bocharov, stated that “as a result of drone debris falling, power supply to the railway’s contact network in the Oktyabrsky district was disrupted.”

Additionally, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (“Rosaviatsia”) announced temporary restrictions on the operations of Volgograd Airport for arrivals and departures. Russian media also reported delays of passenger trains due to the incident.

The Telegram channel Exilenova+ claimed that this was part of a “systematic effort to disable railway logistics” used by the Russian army for troop movements.

Ukraine has not officially commented on any possible involvement in the attacks.

Overnight, Russian air defense systems reportedly destroyed and intercepted 99 Ukrainian drones, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

— 36 were downed over Bryansk region — 21 over Smolensk region — 10 over Kaluga region — 9 each over Volgograd and Rostov regions — 4 over the territory of annexed Crimea — 2 each over Voronezh, Kursk regions, and over the Black Sea — 1 each over the Moscow region, and Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, and Tambov regions.

3 suspected drones intruded on premises of Japan nuclear complex

Jul 27, 2025 - 13:44

TOKYO - Three bright objects believed to be drones intruded on the premises of the Genkai nuclear power complex in southwestern Japan, the country's nuclear watchdog said Sunday, correcting its statement the previous day that drones had been spotted.

The Nuclear Regulation Authority said Saturday it was informed of the incident by Kyushu Electric Power Co., the operator of the four-reactor Genkai Nuclear Power Station.

The watchdog said no abnormalities were detected after the incident was reported around 9 p.m., adding there was no risk to the surrounding area.

Drone flights over and near nuclear power plants are prohibited in principle. Saturday's incident was described as "extremely unusual" by an official of the watchdog.

Local authorities said there was no abnormality in the radiation level around the complex following the incident and residents were not told to evacuate.

Decommissioning of the No. 1 and 2 reactors at the complex is under way, while the No. 3 and 4 units resumed operation in 2018, after the implementation of more stringent safety standards following the disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant triggered by a massive earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.

The Anti‑Deep‑State President and the Deepening Shadows: Epstein, Drones, and the UFO Cover‑Up

18 July 2025

President Donald Trump positioned himself as the anti–deep state candidate - someone who would challenge the entrenched power of hidden bureaucracies and special interests.

The White House’s website even refers to Trump’s current administration as the ‘most transparent administration in history’.

Yet from almost day one, the promise of transparency began to fade.

In January 2025, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt downplayed reports of mystery drones, including those observed near sensitive military installations in New Jersey, claiming they were simply research drones approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

This was despite the fact that the FAA had imposed restrictions in direct response to these incidents.

Observers monitoring the drone incursions noticed that Trump had retreated from his earlier vow to deliver a (supposedly honest) report for the mysterious flights, which had occurred over sensitive U.S. and NATO installations across North America and Europe throughout November, December, and January.

Now, Trump’s reluctance to provide transparency and confront institutional secrecy is becoming unmistakably clear.

After Trump and several key allies hinted during the 2024 campaign that his administration would release the long-rumoured client list of Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender with ties to powerful elites, the White House has since downplayed the issue, with Trump dismissing calls for disclosure as a "hoax."

Months earlier, his Attorney General, Pam Bondi, was asked whether the “DOJ [Department of Justice] may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients?

Will that really happen?” She responded, “It is sitting on my desk right now, to review.”

Although Trump never offered a clear, on-the-record commitment to ‘release the Epstein files,’ his 2024 campaign rhetoric—and the pledges of key allies like Pam Bondi and J.D. Vance—helped foster the public expectation that a full disclosure was imminent.

Now, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, 69% of Americans believe Trump’s administration is concealing critical information about Epstein’s network, with only 17% approving of how Trump has handled the matter.

Trump’s credentials in taking on powerful vested interests have suffered a serious blow.

With this in mind, Congressman Eric Burlison - an outspoken advocate for greater transparency around Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) - has stated that President Trump has been briefed on the subject of non-human intelligence.

Sources have alleged to Liberation Times that Trump knows the truth.

This week, the Italian publication L’Espresso claimed that Trump had been briefed on an alleged secret program known as Project Preserve Destiny, although Liberation Times sources are unable to confirm this.

According to former USAF Technical Sergeant Dan Sherman, the program, run by the National Security Agency (NSA), was designed to facilitate communications with non-human intelligences.

Sherman’s program‑within‑a‑program structure of secrecy claim - recently reported by Liberation Times and corroborated by a defence source - mirrors a leaked NSA brief on Sentry Eagle, an umbrella codename that shields the agency’s most closely held core secrets.

According to Snowden documents highlighted by WIRED, these ultra‑secret operations are led by the NSA and, in the case of Sentry Osprey, conducted jointly with the CIA, FBI, Defense Intelligence Agency and Army intelligence.

The brief divides Sentry Eagle into six compartments, including Sentry Osprey, which deploys clandestine Human Intelligence teams to support Signals Intelligence, and Sentry Raven, which works with commercial firms to weaken encryption for exploitation.

Meanwhile, Sentry Owl is described as a program involving collaboration with private companies.

Following conversations with sources, Liberation Times asked the NSA, ‘Does NSA have any Foreign Intelligence it collected (Signals Intelligence) regarding UAP and more specifically, intercepted communications of other countries responding to a UAP incident?’

An NSA spokesperson responded, ‘We have nothing to offer you on this.’ The spokesperson later added, ‘In general, we do not comment on operational matters.’

Sources tell Liberation Times that much of the conspiracy to conceal UAP and non-human intelligence operates directly under Trump’s nose, shielded by elements within the National Security Council and by career officials embedded within two White House offices.

The sources say the names of these offices cannot be disclosed due to security reasons. Such concerns support what UAP advocate and acclaimed scientist, Garry Nolan, stated in March this year, when he said:

"I've said this publicly so I'll say it again here: I was personally threatened because I knew of a conversation that happened somewhere, and I alluded to it in the most elliptical fashion on a public broadcast.

Literally a couple of days later, I get a phone call from a friend saying, 'XYZ at the White House is really pissed at you and you should not ever say anything like that again, because Title 18 applies…'

"I said, 'What does that mean?' 'Lethal force is operable!' I'm not kidding you. I put down the phone and I… I honestly nearly broke down in tears. And I called a reporter friend of mine and… to just basically report it to them, to say, ‘This just happened to me. I was just threatened.’”

Trump’s National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, has been a pro-UAP disclosure advocate and instrumental to previous Senate attempts to provide transparency through legislation.

Rubio and his boss, President Trump, could play a key role in the months to come. The UAP Disclosure Act is set to be reintroduced in Congress, with the aim of securing its inclusion in the final version of the upcoming National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Originally unveiled in 2023 by then–Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Republican Senator Mike Rounds, the legislation was a bold attempt at transparency regarding UAP.

However, it was ultimately gutted in 2023 following reported resistance from the House of Representatives and failed to make it into the final NDAA passed last year.

Since the beginning of this year, talks have been occurring between White House officials and UAP disclosure advocates, including Retired Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, former Acting Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), who met such officials in February 2025.

Since then, at least publicly, no traction has been gained. Facing an uphill struggle to get passed, support from the White House will be crucial to getting the UAPDA passed this year, especially with both the Senate and House under Republican control.

With a revolt brewing over Epstein, Trump now finds himself outflanked - even by longtime political adversaries like Senators Chuck Schumer and Adam Schiff - when it comes to transparency on UAP secrecy.

The pressure is mounting on the Trump administration to prove that the White House is truly committed to confronting secrecy, rather than preserving the status quo.

Not just tariffs for Trump: in Washington, the new mystery is called "Project Preserve Destiny."

July 16, 2025

The dossier includes six levels of secrecy. The tycoon is said to be intrigued by the possibility of using the UFO theme to portray himself as the president who tells the Americans the truth.

Donald Trump 's new agenda isn't just about tariffs . Behind the scenes in Washington, a much darker issue is brewing: UFOs . And, according to confidential sources, something very concrete is already underway.

It's called Project Preserve Destiny , and it's much more than a simple program to study so-called UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena).

Behind this evocative and disturbing name lies an institutional waltz that risks reshaping the balance between the Pentagon and the White House.

According to rumors, the so-called Special Access Programs (SAPs), which until now formally fell under the Department of Defense, will no longer be managed by the Pentagon: they will now report directly to the Oval Office.

This decision, they say, was not made lightly. On the contrary: it is the result of weeks of highly classified meetings, closed-door briefings, and tensions between military leaders and some of the Republican president's closest advisors.

Because "Project Preserve Destiny" is no ordinary dossier: it involves six levels of secrecy , the same sources say, that would put any conspiracy thriller to shame.

It ranges from the public level—where "they tell you fairy tales," as those familiar with the dossier sarcastically explain—to the so-called "programs within programs," sections so compartmentalized that they remain inaccessible even to the incumbent president.

Behind the decision to shift the focus to the White House, according to those in the know, lies the desire to directly control the flow of information. And perhaps, in the long run, even to decide what is made public and what is not.

This decision partly responds to pressure from a public opinion increasingly attentive to the phenomenon: recent congressional reports have raised more doubts than certainties, fueling the idea that "something" is being systematically hidden.

But in the corridors of Washington, some see this move as more political: a card to be played in the upcoming election campaign. Trump himself, they say, is intrigued by the possibility of "using" the UFO issue to portray himself as the president finally telling Americans the truth.

It wouldn't be the first time a president has flirted with the temptation of a momentous revelation. But this time, experts warn, the scope of the documents at stake would be unprecedented.

The Pentagon, officially, is not commenting. But rumors point to nervousness at the highest levels: transferring management of such sensitive programs to the White House also means exposing them to greater risks of leaks.

And the line between transparency and propaganda is becoming increasingly thin. Meanwhile, in the halls of power, confidential meetings and "eyes only" briefings are taking place: update sheets so classified that, to consult them, one needs not only authorization but also physical presence in a shielded office.

Because, they explain, Project Preserve Destiny isn't just about "unidentified flying objects," but potentially revolutionary technologies, and perhaps not all of them of terrestrial origin. Science fiction? Perhaps. But in Washington, reality and legend often blur .

National UFO Historic Records Center undergoes major expansion

July 27, 2025

The National UFO Historic Records Center (NUFOHRC) in Rio Rancho has recently undergone significant facility upgrades and acquired substantial new collections, while also pursuing an ambitious international expansion aimed at global data sharing and leveraging artificial intelligence for research.

Since November, the center has completely redone the surrounding grounds of its buildings in cooperation with the Rio Rancho public school system. This involved replacing old asphalt and dirt with new concrete, sidewalks, curbs and a new asphalt private parking lot.

Security was also enhanced, with old chain link fences replaced by new security fencing around the entire perimeter, featuring badge-access-only sidewalk and vehicle gates. These improvements are viewed as enhancing the center's role as an educational tool.

Aliens to visit Scotland? THIS technique by UFO hunters may bring extraterrestrial spaceships to earth

Updated: Jul 27, 2025, 14:00 IST

A team of UFO researchers has planned to use a technique to invite extraterrestrial spacecraft to Dechmont Woods in Scotland's West Lothian later this month.

The controversial technique known as Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind (CE5) will be led by the paranormal researcher Malcolm Robinson.

The Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind (CE5) method involves group meditation, telepathic intention, and sound recordings designed to encourage peaceful contact with unidentified aerial phenomena.

The site where the technique will be involved had already witnessed extraterrestrial spacecraft in 1979, which marks one of the UK’s most famous close encounter incidents.

The UFO experience was first reported by forestry worker Bob Taylor, who encountered a dome-shaped craft and was physically dragged by spiked objects, leaving him with torn clothing and minor injuries.

However, the incident remained unexplained, as the official investigation by the police labelled the attack as a potential assault.

Meanwhile, Malcolm Robinson expects that the plan could work, as participants witnessed “flashing lights” during a trial run. “We are trying to bring any off-world craft into our airspace.

There is a desire to bring forward these objects, which people claim to be UFOs or UAPs. The meditation will send out a desire for open contact," Robinson said, The Scottish Sun reported.

“In the background, we play these special sound effects, which help to enhance the mood but also the meditative process.

It all sounds very airy-fairy, I get that, but this has been tried successfully all over the world," he added.

This method is known as the Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind protocol, which was developed by Dr. Steven Greer, founder of the Centre for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence.

Through this process, the Strange Phenomena Investigations will try to communicate using telepathy and guided meditations, which followers believe will help guide UFOs at Dechmont Woods, near Livingston, later this month.

Baba Vanga was right? Scientists claim alien ship larger than Manhattan, moving at 1.3 lakh mph, to attack Earth this Nov

Updated: 26 July, 2025 09:37 PM -7 GMT

Legendary Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga had reportedly predicted that humanity would make contact with aliens in 2025. But recent scientific claims suggest that contact may come sooner — and far more hostile.

According to a report published on July 16 on the preprint server arXiv and cited by the New York Post and South West News Service, a team of scientists has warned that an alien spacecraft may be heading toward Earth — potentially launching an attack as early as this November.

The object in question, named 3I/ATLAS, was first detected on July 1 and is racing toward the Sun at over 130,000 miles per hour.

Just a day after its discovery, astronomers confirmed that it originated from outside our solar system. Initial observations suggested it might be a comet, roughly 15 miles in diameter — making it even larger than Manhattan.

However, in their paper, researchers Avi Loeb, Adam Hibberd, and Adam Crowl from the Initiative for Interstellar Studies propose that 3I/ATLAS might not be a natural object at all, but rather a piece of extraterrestrial spy technology in disguise.

Loeb, a Harvard astrophysicist known for his controversial theory that the 2017 object `Oumuamua could have been an alien reconnaissance probe, argues that 3I/ATLAS displays several unusual characteristics — including a unique trajectory and exceptionally high speed. These anomalies, he suggests, could point to an intelligent origin.

In a blog post, Loeb noted that the object's path through the solar system allows it to pass close to Jupiter, Mars, and Venus — an ideal opportunity, he says, for aliens to covertly deploy surveillance “gadgets” on these planets.

What’s more concerning is that when 3I/ATLAS reaches its closest point to the Sun (perihelion) in late November, it will temporarily vanish from Earth’s view.

Loeb suggests this may be a deliberate move to avoid detection by Earth-based telescopes — possibly the moment when alien technology could be dispatched toward our planet.

If 3I/ATLAS is indeed a technological artifact, it may support the "dark forest hypothesis" — the idea that intelligent alien civilizations stay hidden to avoid detection by potential threats.

Loeb warns that this situation might not just be surveillance, but a precursor to a potential alien attack, urging that "defensive measures" may need to be considered.

Whether this object turns out to be a comet or a cosmic Trojan horse, the scientific world — and the public — will be watching closely as November approaches.

‘Alien: Earth’ Crashes Into Comic-Con With a Massive Outdoor Experience

July 26, 2025

The USCSS Maginot, a Weyland Yutani research vessel, crashed into the large lawn next to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.

Onlookers remarked they hoped there was nothing dangerous on board, as containers had spilled all over the surrounding area.

That’s both the tease for a very cool activation put together by FX for its new show, Alien: Earth, as well as the setup for Alien: Earth itself.

The show, which debuts August 12, centers on a crashed ship and all the horrors that it contains. One of them is a xenomorph, everyone’s favorite killer alien with acid for blood.

But the xeno isn’t the only creature on the Maginot. At least on the show. At Comic-Con, it was the main one, but there were teases of others.

io9 was lucky enough to walk through the Alien Earth activation during the daytime of the con, with the understanding this was just half the experience.

You could also come back in the evening, and what was once light, bright, and open becomes dark, dim, and scary. It’s a whole other, more terrifying experience.

But even in the daylight, the amount of work and detail that’s been put into this activation is impressive.

You enter through an almost military installation surrounding the crashed ship. Containers with those classic Alien eggs are scattered about, as well as some new, odd, yellow eggs.

You enter the MUTHUR computer room, just like out of the original film, and traverse two long hallways, both of which have been torn to pieces by… something.

Finally, you enter a massive research facility, which offers a hint of just how many different species had been collected by the ship, only to, in the end, finally be greeted by the Xeno itself.

Luckily, we survived. Here’s a video of the experience.

Jaw-Dropping Fossils Found in Grand Canyon Reveal Alien-Like Early Creatures

July 26, 2025

A stunning new discovery in the Grand Canyon is offering scientists an unprecedented glimpse into Earth’s earliest complex life.

Exceptionally preserved Cambrian fossils, dating back over 500 million years, were uncovered in a formation that could redefine our understanding of early animal ecosystems.

The study, led by a team from the University of Cambridge, paints a vivid picture of how ancient creatures fed, evolved, and thrived in what researchers describe as a “Goldilocks zone” for evolution.

A Rare Fossil Treasure From The Cambrian Explosion

The fossils were found in shale rocks formed during the Cambrian explosion, a crucial evolutionary window between 507 and 502 million years ago.

This was a time marked by dramatic biological change, when many of the major animal groups appeared for the first time.

During a 2023 expedition along the Colorado River in Arizona, the Cambridge team collected 29 shale samples, showcasing a variety of colors, textures, and weathering patterns.

Back in the lab, the rocks were dissolved using hydrofluoric acid, a process that allowed researchers to extract thousands of microscopic fossils from the residue.

These tiny remnants included an array of soft-bodied animals rarely preserved in the fossil record — from rock-scraping mollusks and filter-feeding crustaceans to toothed worms and even fragments of their last meals.

“This is the first time such fossils have been found in the Grand Canyon,” said lead author Giovanni Mussini, a Ph.D. student in the university’s Department of Earth Sciences.

“By combining these fossils with traces of their burrowing, walking, and feeding – which are found all over the Grand Canyon – we’re able to piece together an entire ancient ecosystem.”

Tools For Survival: Feeding Strategies Of Early Animals

Despite being over half a billion years old, many of the fossils revealed remarkable detail. Researchers identified spiky teeth, scraping limbs, and feeding tools—complex anatomical features that offered early animals a competitive edge.

Some of the most advanced fossils came from a new species of priapulid worm, also known as a cactus worm, whose elaborate feeding system was unlike anything seen before.

Named Kraytdraco spectatus, this species featured hundreds of branching teeth used to sweep food particles into its expandable mouth.

The structure reflects a level of sophistication that suggests Cambrian animals were not only surviving, but actively innovating.

Other fossils included crustaceans resembling modern brine shrimp, equipped with hair-lined grooves and molar-like teeth for grinding food.

Close examination of these structures — alongside fossilized food particles — provided rare insight into dietary behaviors of ancient marine organisms.

Slug-like mollusks with chains of teeth, similar to modern garden snails, hinted at algae or bacteria being scraped off rocky surfaces.

“We can see from these fossils that Cambrian animals had a wide variety of feeding styles used to process their food, some which have modern counterparts,” Mussini explained.

A Fossil Snapshot Of An Ancient Equatorial Ecosystem

Half a billion years ago, what is now the Grand Canyon was located near the equator. Back then, it featured shallow, warm waters, rich in oxygen and nutrients, bathed in consistent sunlight.

According to the researchers, these conditions provided the perfect setting for evolutionary experimentation.

The term “Goldilocks zone“ used by the team refers to this precise balance — not too extreme in any direction — that allowed early life to flourish.

“Animals needed to keep ahead of the competition through complex, costly innovations, but the environment allowed them to do that,” Mussini said.

He likened this evolutionary risk-taking to an economic model: “Invest and take risks in times of abundance; save and be conservative in times of scarcity.”

The fine-grained sediment of the Grand Canyon preserved these delicate fossils with exceptional clarity, revealing not only the forms of ancient life but also how they functioned and interacted.

Places like the Burgess Shale in Canada or China’s Maotianshan Shales were once thought to be the only windows into this pivotal period of evolution. Now, the Grand Canyon joins their ranks as a fossil site of global importance.
