Jeff Bezos has generated billions of dollars in Amazon stock sales since late June under a 10b5-1 plan. The divestitures coincide with a new report suggesting he's mulling over a potential acquisition of CNBC.

According to Bloomberg data, Bezos has been on a selling spree since late June, capitalizing on Amazon's stock rebound from its April lows. So far, the sales have generated $5.7 billion for the billionaire.

The sales, which began when Bezos unloaded $737 million around his weekend nuptials in Venice, were part of a trading plan for up to 25 million shares that he adopted earlier this year. He sold the last of the 25 million on Wednesday and Thursday, divesting about 4.2 million shares for $954 million, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Friday.

Amid Bezos' dumping of stock under the 10b5-1 plan, a new report emerged last week from The New York Post about the billionaire mulling a potential acquisition of CNBC.

The 61-year-old e-commerce magnate has signaled interest to business associates in buying the cable network — home to "Squawk Box" and "Mad Money with Jim Cramer" — after it is spun off by NBCUniversal parent Comcast later this year, according to a person familiar with Bezos' thinking.

CNBC would "align well with his interests," said another source close to Bezos, who noted that the network could serve as a credible "neutral voice" in his media portfolio — a major plus following Bezos's headaches as owner of the left-leaning Washington Post.

Graham said, “Well, I talked to Cindy McCain last night. Here’s some good news for the people in Gaza, humanitarian quarters are now going to be open. Israel is going to work with the UN, the World Food Program, to get some food into these people who need it. But I think what the topic we’re talking about today is a change in strategy. I think President Trump has come to believe and I certainly come to believe there’s no way you’re going to negotiate an end to this war with Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization who is chartered to destroy the state of Israel. They are religious Nazis. They hold Israeli hostages. I think Israel has come to conclude that they can’t achieve a goal of ending the war with Hamas that would be satisfactory to the safety of Israel. They’re going to do in Gaza what we did in Tokyo and Berlin, take the place by force, then start over again, presenting a better future for the Palestinians. Hopefully, having the Arabs take over the West Bank and Gaza, but I think going forward you’re going to see a change in tactics, a full military effort by Israel to take Gaza down, like we did in Tokyo and Berlin.”

He added, “All I can say is that you’re going to see, I think in the next days and weeks, a military effort to destroy Hamas, akin to what we did in Tokyo in Berlin to destroy the Nazis and the Japanese.”

It is estimated that Tuck – who ran the facility between 1994 and 1999 – sexually abused as many as 55 children in Batemans Bay alone, and possibly many more across his lifetime.

He is also known to have worked as a gymnastics instructor at two YMCAs; as a nurse at a children’s hospital west of Sydney; at a juvenile correctional facility; as a carer for disabled children; as a school bus driver for intellectually disabled children; and as a guide on children’s holiday camps, before finally opening his own child care centre, which he ran from his remote rural property.

Tuck, who has faced allegations of child sexual abuse spanning three decades, is also known to have spent time in Victoria, NSW, Queensland, ACT and South Australia.

Until now his name has never been published by other media, due to legal blocks by authorities.

Founded in 2003 by David Brock, a self-described “right-wing hit man” who switched sides and became an enforcer for Democrats, Media Matters set out to neutralize what Mr. Brock saw as a powerful Republican information ecosystem. The group became the flagship in a constellation of nonprofits formed or acquired by Mr. Brock to help Democrats and undermine Republicans.

The organization spent years targeting organizations such as ZeroHedge, Fox News, Breitbart - and individuals such as Elon Musk - the latter of whom sued Media Matters for defamation last year, claiming they used manipulative and deceptive tactics to convince advertisers like Apple, IBM and Disney that 'hateful' content was being displayed next to their brands - leading them to pause their X advertising campaigns. X claims Media Matters fabricated the results (deep dive here).

That lawsuit, which Media Matters attempted to settle (unsuccessfully), triggered a cascade of trouble: Republican attorneys general launched investigations, donors ran for the hills, and Media Matters was left holding the bag for millions in legal fees to the tune of $15 million.

Former Green Beret: 'Without Question, I Witnessed War Crimes' In Gaza

A retired US Army Special Forces lieutenant colonel who worked as a contractor at an aid distribution point in Gaza has gone on-the-record with claims that he personally witnessed war crimes perpetrated by the Israel Defense Forces and by American contractors working for the shadowy Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

"I witnessed the Israeli forces shooting at the crowds of Palestinians," Anthony Aguilar told BBC. "I witnessed the Israeli forces firing a main gun tank round from the Merkava tank into a crowd of people, destroying a car of civilians that was simply driving away from the site. I witnessed mortar rounds being fired at the crowd… to keep them controlled."

The GHF is led by an evangelical Christian leader with close ties to Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump. The organization was established in Israel in a collaboration of American evangelicals and private security contractors. Soon after the GHF began distributing aid to war-torn Gaza in May, disturbing reports emerged of Israeli soldiers killing unarmed Palestinians approaching aid points for food. Reports of dozens of Palestinians being killed in single incidents have become common. Last week, the UN human rights office said more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed while trying to receive food at the distribution points.

Aguilar was blunt in characterizing what he observed in the context of his US military service:

"In my entire career, I have never witnessed the level of brutality and use of indiscriminate and unnecessary force against a civilian population…an unarmed, starving population. I've never witnessed that in all the places I've been deployed to war until I was in Gaza, at the hands of the IDF and US contractors … Without question, I witnessed war crimes."

He also condemned the GHF and its hired American guns:

"My professional opinion of how the sites were established was what I would describe as 'amateur.' Inexperienced, untrained, no idea of how to conduct operations of this magnitude. That would be my most benign assessment. In my most frank assessment, I would say that they're criminal."

The GHF said Aguilar's allegations were "categorically false," telling BBC that the retired Green Beret is "a disgruntled former contractor who was terminated for misconduct." In a separate statement, GHF said its own investigation concluded his claims are "false and have no basis in reality."
