President Trump Welcomes British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Turnberry, Scotland

July 28, 2025 | Sundance |

Earlier this morning President Donald Trump welcomed British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Turnberry, Scotland where the two leaders will hold bilateral discussions on trade and foreign affairs.

The video is prompted to 16:20. The bagpipes stop eventually in the video at 19:30. President Trump and Prime Minister Starmer take questions from the assembled press pool.President Trump calls out the British government for rampant illegal immigration, as Starmer tries to say his govt is deporting illegal migrants back to their home country.

Questions centered heavily around the Israeli conflict with Hamas in Gaza. The plight of the Palestinians is a key focus point for the British people; an outcome of the mass Islamic migration that has taken place for the past two-decades in Great Britain. The population of Islamists in the U.K now drives the political priorities.

Toward the end of the video 28:00, President Trump notes the Russia/Ukraine conflict has led to a “disappointment in Vladimir Putin,” and a possibility that President Trump will reduce the 50-day deadline he gave to Russia. WATCH:

The majority of politicians within Great Britain want to expand the conflict with Russia as much as possible and bring the full NATO contingent into the war against Russia. ==President Trump has been reluctant to support expanded war= as requested by the British, French and German group who formed a “coalition of the willing.”

In addition to London being the Jihad capital of the region, Great Britain is also the home of the Fabian Socialists.

(Starmer lies all the time to Trump, and he thinks Trump believes him.)

Harmeet Dhillon Says Justice Department Will Monitor Local Investigation of Vicious Attack on White People in Cincinnati Caught on Viral Video

By Kristinn Taylor Jul. 27, 2025 7:20

Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice, posted on Sunday she and her department will be monitoring the investigation into a vicious attack on a white man and white woman by a mob of Black people in Cincinnati Friday night after video of the beatings went viral.

Dhillion commented on a post by Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio),“Our federal hate crimes laws apply to ALL Americans. We @CivilRights will monitor closely how local authorities handle this attack. Nobody in our great nation should be the victim of such a crime, and where race is a motivation, federal law may apply.”

Moreno had posted, “The Mayor of Cincinnati, @AftabPureval, who has an opinion on lots of irrelevant topics, has not issued a statement, let alone a condemnation, of this heinous attack. Instead of dreaming about higher office, which will never happen, he should be ensuring his residents are safe.”

Moreno’s post was in response to screen images from the video that showed a man on the ground being attacked by a mob and an unconscious woman with blood streaming from her mouth.

The original video was posted to X and Facebook on Saturday morning by Vice President J.D. Vance’s half-brother, Cincinnati mayoral candidate Cory Bowman. Bowman, a Republican, placed second in a May jungle primary and will face incumbent Democrat Mayor Aftab Pureval in November.

Mob of black men and black women attacked a white man and white woman early on Saturday morning during the Cincinnati Jazz Festival, stemming from a “verbal altercation.”

(Note: More videos posted by Bowman at link, but reposted below as they are restricted from embedding from Bowman’s X account) Bowman on X: “More violence from Friday night in downtown Cincinnati It’s important to state that during large events such as last night’s music festival (the city’s 2nd largest crowded event of the year) the Emergency Communications Center has a delegated dispatcher that is solely on duty for the purpose of the event. Sources within the ECC have stated that Friday night, no such dispatcher was on duty. This reinforces what we’ve known, that major problems exist in the ECC relating to crime in the city. Cincinnati deserves better…Bowman for Cincinnati | #FlipTheNati”

Activist Tariq Nasheed posted a video claiming the white man instigated the attack by slapping a Black man, “A group of white people were arguing with a group of Black people in Cincinnati…. And one of the white males decided to slap a Black man in the face. And things went downhill from there.”

Trump’s Justice Department Takes Down Dark Web Child Abuse Network — 120,000 Users, Millions of Files in Operation Grayskull

By Jim Hᴏft Jul. 28, 2025 7:45 am

In one of the most aggressive and successful anti-child exploitation crackdowns in U.S. history, President Trump’s Justice Department has revealed the results of Operation Grayskull, a sweeping, international strike that dismantled four high-traffic dark web platforms trafficking violent child sexual abuse materials, exposing a digital cesspool that included over 120,000 registered users and millions of illicit files.

To date, 18 individuals have been convicted in federal court, receiving a combined 300+ years in prison.

The Justice Department detailed how Thomas Peter Katsampes, 52, of Minnesota, became a staff member on one of these despicable sites, personally distributing CSAM, guiding others on how to do so, and helping manage operations. He was sentenced to over 20 years in prison, lifetime supervision, and forced to pay restitution to his victims.

But he was only one of many.

Among the 18 convicted predators:

William Michael Spearman of Alabama was sentenced to life in prison for his role in a child exploitation enterprise.

Joseph Addison Martin of Washington got 42 years.

Keith David McIntosh of Michigan was sentenced to a staggering 55 years, with a prior conviction on record.

Selwyn David Rosenstein of Florida was handed 28 years and a six-figure restitution order for his crimes.

Each of these individuals was found guilty of actively operating or contributing to some of the darkest, most vile content imaginable, and doing so in a highly coordinated and secretive online network.

“Today’s announcement sends a clear warning to those who exploit and abuse children: you will not find safe haven, even on the dark web,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Matthew R. Galeotti of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.

“These offenders thought that they could act without consequences, but they were wrong. Thanks to the relentless determination of our prosecutors and law enforcement partners we have exposed these perpetrators for who they are, eliminated their websites and brought justice to countless victims.”

“This operation represents one of the most significant strikes ever made against online child exploitation networks,” said FBI Director Kash Patel. “We’ve not only dismantled dangerous platforms on the dark web, but we’ve also brought key perpetrators to justice and delivered a powerful message: you cannot hide behind anonymity to harm children.”

“Yesterday’s sentencing reaffirms our steadfast commitment to protecting our children, the most vulnerable among us, from those who exploit and harm them through the despicable trade in child sexual abuse material,” said U.S. Attorney Hayden P. O’Byrne for the Southern District of Florida.

“Thomas Peter Katsampes and his co-conspirators ran some of the darkweb’s most heinous networks, enabling horrific crimes against innocent victims, but Operation Grayskull has shut these sites down and delivered justice. We applaud the FBI and our international partners for their tireless work, and let this be a clear warning: we will relentlessly pursue and prosecute anyone engaged in such atrocities, no matter how they attempt to cover their tracks.”

The operation alsoled to arrests in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Estonia, Belgium, and South Africa.

Sen. Mark Kelly Changes Subject To Trump When Pressed On Biden Inflation Chart Dems Posted

Mariane AngelaJuly 27, 2025 12:07

Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly floundered on CNN Sunday when pressed about a chart his party recently posted on social media — which accidentally spotlighted skyrocketing grocery prices when it was in power.

The Democratic Party’s official X account on Thursday inadvertently highlighted the negative impact of former President Joe Biden’s economy while attempting to discredit President Donald Trump by postinga graph showing sharp increases in grocery prices from 2021 to 2024 with the caption “Trump’s America” — despite Biden being in office during that period.During an appearance on “State of the Union With Jake Tapper and Dana Bash,” Kelly acknowledged the inflation but almost immediately deflected to discussing Trump.

“There was inflation during the Biden administration. I track this pretty closely. You know, I know what ground beef and eggs and milk costs at the Safeway where Gabby [Giffords] and I shop in Tucson, Arizona,” Kelly said when host Jake Tapper asked about the issue. “They went up during the Biden administration. They went up some more. You know, you’re going to see prices go up and down.”

Kelly then veered off into a confusing explanation about President Donald Trump’s tariff policies.

WATCH:

“I think what’s important for the American people to know is that Donald Trump’s tariff policy is very likely to increase costs. Going to take some time because of supply chains, stuff coming from, you know, in some cases from all over the planet,” Kelly continued. “And his trade policy, for my constituents in Arizona, there are a lot of products that come across the southern border, agricultural products that create thousands and thousands of jobs, not only in Arizona, but in the state of Texas.”

“And we are facing right now some significant job loss. So when you think inflation is a problem for a family, somebody losing a job is even a bigger problem. And we’re trying to figure out how we navigate that with this administration,” Kelly noted. “I’ve spoken to the Secretary of Commerce about some of these tariffs, and we haven’t gotten the response.”

Inflation in the U.S. surged to its highest point in 40 years under Biden, peaking in the summer of 2022, according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Voters consistently rankedthe economy as a top issue ahead of the 2024 elections, expressing widespreaddissatisfaction with Biden’s handling of economic matters, according to polling data.

The CPI dropped to a four-year low under Trump by April, with positive economic indicators such as manufacturing output and consumer sentiment showing resilience. Additionally, summer gas prices hit a four-year low in June, after a significant increase-during Biden’s first two years in office.

‘Dumbest Thing I’ve Ever Seen’: Donalds, Ingraham Lose It Over Democrats Asking Crowd To Throw ‘Balls Of Yarn’July 25, 2025

Florida Rep. Byron Donalds and Fox News’ Laura Ingraham broke into laughter Friday on the outlet’s “The Ingraham Angle” after the host played a clip of Democrats at a summit suggesting supporters throw “balls of yarn.”

Youth-driven advocacy organization Voters of Tomorrow held their 2025 summit on Friday, with lawmakers like Democrat Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and Democrat California Rep. Ro Khanna speaking as guests. While discussing the Democrats’ push to motivate voters ahead of the midterms, Ingraham played a clip showing two women standing at a podium while someone said that if supporters liked “bonding” and “throwing yarn,” they should head for the breakout session.

“Oh my god,” Ingraham said while laughing. “I just want you to know, Congressman — ”

“That’s not real!” Donalds responded.

In the clip played by Fox News, an announcer was heard instructing those who liked to “throw balls of yarn” to head to the “back” of the room, adding, “if you don’t want to throw balls of yarn and bond, that’s OK.”

“It has to be fake,” Ingraham said. “I wish I had a ball of yarn because I would throw it at the camera right now just to be goofy. But at this point you just have to walk out of the room and say, I’ve got to switch parties. This is so embarrassing. Trump is so fun and has such a, you know, infectious spirit for the country, even if you don’t agree with all his policies, it just makes politics fun again. What is this? I don’t even know what it is.”

Donalds weighed in.

“If you want to know why the Democrats are losing young men, that’s why. There ain’t a young man in America today that wants to be throwing yarn in the back. I’m just sorry,” Donalds said. “That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, Laura. But why should we be shocked? This is the same party that lied to us and said that Joe Biden was capable of doing his job. And we all know he was not.”

Ingraham told the Florida lawmaker thatthe summit had required each person “to show a valid photo ID to get into” the event. Donalds called out the hypocrisy of their voting policies.

“Look, again, rules for thee, not for them,” Donalds said. “This is the craziest thing. If they actually believed in common sense, I truly believe they would stand a chance for the future. But if they continue to go down as foolishness, you need to show an ID to get into their summit. But in California, you don’t need to show an ID to vote.”

“It’s this type of idiocy, which is why the Democrats are losing Americans more and more. Just look at their approval ratings, the lowest they’ve ever been in the modern era,” Donalds added. “They’re going to continue to fall behind. I think in the midterm elections, I say let them continue these summits. We’ll go ahead and win the House and Senate majorities in the midterms. We will continue to work with President Trump to make America not just great again, but better than it’s ever been.”

Democrats have long rallied against voter identification laws, pushing back against them in recent months since Trump signed an executive order in March requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. In addition to the summit, Democrats notablyrequired proof of identity for “security screening” at the 2024 Democrat National Convention, despite lawmakers opposing voter ID laws.

Trump ‘wiped the floor’ with EU – Medvedev

Brussels has agreed to sweeping trade tariffs on European exports to the US and other concessions to avoid even higher duties

The new trade agreement between the US and the EU is “completely humiliating for the Europeans,” former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said.

The deal, announced on Sunday by US President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, includes a requirement for EU member states to increase imports of American energy and defense products. It also imposes a blanket 15% tariff on EU exports to the US – terms accepted by Brussels to avoid even steeper trade penalties.

In a social media post on Monday, Medvedev, who serves as deputy chair of the Russian Security Council, claimed that the terms of the deal meant Trump had “wiped the floor with Europe.”

“One can only feel sorry for ordinary Europeans,” Medvedev wrote. He asserted thatwhere Trump is seeking economic benefits for American businesses, EU leaders are motivated by an ideological anti-Russian sentiment, as the deal further cements Brussels’ intention to terminate all purchases of Russian oil and gas.

The Trump administration has used tariffs as a tool to confront what it considers unfair trade practices and chronic deficits in trade with key partners. In the absence of a deal, EU products could have faced tariffs as high as 50%. Last week, Brussels prepared a list of US goods it was ready to hit with retaliatory duties if negotiations collapsed.

Medvedev and other senior Russian officials have repeatedly portrayed EU leaders as politically weak and overly compliant with Washington’s agenda, often at the expense of their own economic interests.

Russia has been especially critical of the EU’s break from Russian energy supplies, a move initiated as part of sanctions over the Ukraine conflict. Moscow contends that the resulting shift to more expensive US liquefied natural gas has contributed to the deindustrialization of major European economies.

Trump sets new Ukraine peace deadline

The timeline for Moscow and Kiev to settle the conflict has been reduced to “10 or 12 days” from now, the US president has said

US President Donald Trump has warned he will reduce the time frame he had set for Moscow and Kiev to settle the Ukraine conflict to just “10 or 12 days” from now. He had previously demanded the sides reach an agreement in 50 days, threatening to impose additional sanctions against Russia otherwise.

The set of punitive measures announced by Washington would involve secondary sanctions, including tariffs on countries and entities doing business with Russia. Trump’s initial deadline was due to expire in early September.

“I’m going to reduce that 50 days that I gave him [Putin] to a lesser number, because I think I already know the answer what’s going to happen,”Trump told journalists in Scotland ahead of a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. When further pressed on the new timeline, the president stated that it would be “10 or 12 days” from Monday.

The American leader claimed he had been close to reaching a ceasefire deal on Ukraine conflict with Russian President Vladimir Putin five times. “I’ve spoken to President Putin a lot, I’ve gotten along with him very well,” he said, while accusing Moscow of launching strikes against Ukrainian cities and stating that he was “very disappointed” with the Russian leadership.

Moscow has stated throughout the conflict that it is open for dialogue and could start negotiations without preconditions, as long as the situation on the ground is taken into account and the root causes of the conflict are addressed during the talks. It also said Trump’s new sanctions threats serve primarily “as signals to continue war” for Ukraine and called on Washington to put pressure on Kiev instead.

Any new sanctions, including the secondary ones, would not affect Russia’s policy as Moscow would “continue to move along our independent, sovereign, and sustained path,”Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said in response to Trump’s previous threats.

The US president said earlier this week that he could potentially impose the announced sanctions before the previously declared deadline.

Moscow and Kiev renewed direct talks in Istanbul in May following an almost three-year pause. The latest round of negotiations took place last week. No ceasefire was reached, but the two sides made progress on humanitarian issues, including agreements on the exchange of prisoners of war and civilians.

New protests erupt against Zelensky’s crackdown on anti-graft agencies

Demonstrators are seeking to maintain pressure on the Ukrainian leadership to expedite the reversal of legislation

Hundreds of protesters have taken to the streets of Kiev for a fifth consecutive day to decry Vladimir Zelensky’s crackdown on two anti-corruption agencies.Although the Ukrainian leader has agreed to reverse the legislation, protesters say they will continue to pressure the authorities until the changes are fully adopted.

The rallies began last week after Zelensky signed legislation handing over the oversight of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) to the prosecutor general, claiming the agencies were under Russian influence.

Critics, however, have accused Zelensky of authoritarian tendencies, arguing that the moveessentially eliminates the independence of agencies that have been investigating several high-profile corruption cases.

Kiev’s Western backers have also voiced discontent, warning they could reconsider aid to Ukraine if Zelensky’s reforms are enacted. In the face of the backlash, Zelensky has agreed to restore the independence of the agencies.

Despite the about-turn, Ukrainians still rallied in Kiev on Sunday for peaceful protests, with many carryingsigns reading ‘Cringe’, ‘Give the military a vacation’, ‘The people are the power in Ukraine’, and ‘Why does the government steal people's money?’.

One sign reading ‘I have a vacation too but I'm not a sucker’ referred to discontent over a parliamentary recess that would have formally made it impossible to swiftly adopt any legislation. However, Ukrainian MPs said they will hold a session on Thursday to pass a law restoring the independence of anti-corruption agencies.

The protesters also expanded their demands, calling for the appointment of a director to the Economic Security Bureau (BEB).

Kiev’s backers have conditioned further economic aid on BEB reforms. The demonstrators also demanded a full-scale reform of Ukraine’s customs system, which is also widely seen as a factor influencing the scale of Western aid and loans to Ukraine.

Commenting on the string of protests in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova suggested that neither NABU nor SAPO is really fighting corruptionbut are used by Kiev’s backers as tools “to control the flow of money coming to Ukraine from the West.

US-EU trade deal a ‘fiasco’ – Le Pen

The agreement is a “surrender” for French industry and the bloc’s energy and military sovereignty, the right-wing firebrand has said

The new EU-US trade agreement is an economic and political “fiasco” that undermines the bloc’s sovereignty, veteran right-wing French politician Marine Le Pen has said.

The agreement, finalized by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and US President Donald Trump on Sunday, averted a full-blown trade war between Washington and Brussels.Under its terms, the EU will commit to increased imports of US energy and military equipment, while the US reduces its proposed 30% tariffs to a flat 15% on most European exports.

Le Pen, a key member of France’s National Rally party, the largest opposition group in the National Assembly, condemned the deal, calling it “a political, economic and moral fiasco” for the EU.

”Politically, because the European Union, with 27 member states, obtained worse conditions than the United Kingdom,” she said, referring to the fact that the UK agreed to 10% tariffs – which was widely regarded as a bad deal.

Le Pen also accused Brussels of accepting unequal terms on exporting American gas and weapons that she claimed no patriotic French government would have agreed to.“This is an outright surrender for French industry and for our energy and military sovereignty.”

She added thatthe deal sacrifices the interests of French farmers to benefit Germany’s automotive industry, pointing to “clauses forcing us to further open the single market to American agricultural products in exchange for reduced taxes on German automobile exports.”

“This globalization that denies and shatters sovereignty has been outdated for many years… The least that could be done is to acknowledge this stinging failure rather than asking the French, who will be its first victims, to rejoice in it.”

Le Pen’s criticism was echoed by former Belgian Prime Minister and MEP Guy Verhofstadt, who called the agreement “scandalous” and “a disaster,” which failed to secure any concessions from the American side.

Trump described the agreement as “probably the biggest deal ever reached in any capacity, trade or beyond trade.” Von der Leyen said the deal brings “certainty in uncertain times,” adding that a 15% rate “is the best we could get.”

Russia alone against entire West for first time in history – Lavrov

The country has no other choice but to rely on itself, the foreign minister has said

Russia is fighting the West alone for the first time in history and must rely solely on its own strength, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking at the ‘Territory of Meanings’ forum on Monday, Lavrov highlighted the unprecedented geopolitical landscape Russia found itself in following the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, which led to a heated stand-off with the West.

”The main task is to defeat the enemy. For the first time in history, Russia is fighting alone against the entire West. In World War I and World War II, we had allies. Now we have no allies on the battlefield. So we must rely on ourselves and not allow any weakness,” he said.

Lavrov stressed that Russia will not back down from its core security demands which led to the Ukraine conflict.“We insist on what is our legitimate demand… no dragging Ukraine into NATO, no NATO expansion at all.It has already expanded right up to our borders, contrary to all promises and documents that were adopted,” he said, adding that a settlement of the conflict should also recognize the new territorial reality on the ground.

Lavrov also likened the West’s behavior to that of childhood bullies. “When you’re a kid messing around with other boys in the yard, sometimes a big kid, three or four years older, shows up and starts chasing the little ones,” he said. “That’s roughly what the West is doing to everyone else right now.”

Moscow has stated on a number of occasions that NATO expansion and Ukraine’s aspirations to join the US-led military bloc were among the key reasons for the conflict. It has also warned that Western weapons deliveries to Ukraine only serve to prolong the hostilities without changing the outcome, while making NATO a direct party to the conflict.

Moscow calls for ‘International day against Russophobia’

The ideology is “literally” killing people, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said

The world needs an “International Day against Russophobia,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said, adding that this “extremist” ideology should not be allowed to take root in the international community.

Anti-Russian propaganda spread by Western nations has already led to numerous tragedies, including the Ukraine conflict, the spokeswoman told an International Summer School for young public officials. “Weapons are being supplied to the terrorist Kiev regime under the hellish banners of Russophobia,” she said.

According to Zakharova, the hatred of everything Russian has become “yet another extremist, Nazi… neo-Nazi ideology that kills people both literally and figuratively.” It should be combated just like any other racial or religious hatred, the spokeswoman maintained.

Russophobia should have “no place on Earth,”much less as a state ideology, she said, naming Ukraine as one of the prime examples of nations harboring the ideology and depriving millions of people of their native Russian language.

The government in Kiev has waged a campaign to purge anything linked to Russia for years. The authorities have renamed streets and demolished monuments deemed linked to Russia, including some UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Moscow has cited the protection of the Russian-speaking population of Donbass among the key reasons for the military operation it launched in 2022. The continued repression of the Russian-speaking population by the Ukrainian government has been consistently ignored by the US and the EU since the Western-backed coup in Kiev in 2014, according to Russia.

The Baltic states have also ramped up enforcement actions against anyone suspected of having Russian ties. Hundreds of people, primarily ethnic Russians, have reportedly been deported from Latvia for failing a Latvian language exam. Riga has also prohibited entry of Russian citizens who own real estate near strategically important sites, citing security concerns.

In June, top officials from Baltic and Nordic nations called on Brussels to ban all Russians with past or current ties to the military from entering the Schengen Zone.

US could slash troop presence in Europe – Politico

The report comes as Washington pushes European NATO members to take greater responsibility for their own defense and to boost military spending

The US could cut its troop presence in Europe by up to 30%, Politico reported on Monday, citing sources. The reduction could beannounced as early as Septemberas part of a Pentagon-led reassessment of military deployments called the Global Force Posture Review.

Since taking office, President Donald Trump has accused European NATO members of not paying their fair share of defense costs, while his administration has hinted that the US may reduce its military footprint on the continent. In February, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth urged allies to boost defense spending, warning they cannot assume “America’s presence” in Europe “will last forever.” Reports indicate European leaders have been unsettled by potential drawdown plans, though neither their scope nor timeline has been defined.

Aylin Matle of the German Council on Foreign Relations has predicted a roughly 20% troop reduction possibly this fall, most likely involving the removal of about 20,000 troops deployed under Joe Biden in 2022after the Ukraine conflict escalated.

She said even such a cut “would still leave a substantial American footprint,”noting current US troop levels fluctuate between 90,000 and 100,000.Matle further suggested that the cuts could be lower, as US forces in Europe are used for regional defense and “projecting power into the Middle East and, to some extent, Africa.”

The report notes thatGermany, which hosts the largest US contingent in Europe of around 35,000 troops at 35 sites, is particularly alarmed by the potential cuts.Berlin’s concerns come amid the EU’s broader militarization drive, including the €800 billion ($930 billion) ReArm Europe initiative and a recent NATO pledge to raise defense spending to 5% of GDP, both citing Russia as a threat. ChatGPT conversations could be shared with court – OpenAI CEO

Users increasingly share personal issues with AI, but current laws offer no legal protections, Sam Altman has warned

The tech industry has yet to resolve how to protect user privacy in sensitive interactions with AI, CEO of industry leader OpenAI Sam Altman has admitted.

Current systems lack adequate safeguards for confidential conversations, he warned, amid a surge in the use of AI chatbots by millions of users – including children – for therapy and emotional support.

Speaking to the This Past Weekend podcast published last week, Altman saidusers should not expect legal confidentiality when using ChatGPT, while he cited the absence of a legal or policy framework governing AI.

“People talk about the most personal sh** in their lives to ChatGPT,” he said.

Many AI users – particularly young people – treat the chatbot like a therapist or life coach for advice on relationship and emotional issues, Altman revealed.

However unlike conversations with lawyers or therapists, which are protected by legal privilege or confidentiality,no such protections currently exist for interactions with AI.“We haven’t figured that out yet for when you talk to ChatGPT,” he added.

Altman said the issue of confidentiality and privacy in AI interactions needs urgent attention. “So if you go talk to ChatGPT about your most sensitive stuff and then there’s like a lawsuit or whatever,we could be required to produce that, and I think that’s very screwed up,”he said.

OpenAI claims it deletes free-tier ChatGPT conversations after 30 days, however, some chats could be stored for legal or security reasons.

The company is facing a lawsuit from The New York Times over alleged copyright infringement over the use of Times articles in training its AI models.

The case has compelled OpenAI to preserve user conversations from millions of ChatGPT users, barring those by enterprise clients, an order the company has appealed, citing “overreach.”

Latest research has found that ChatGPT has been linked to psychosis in some users. According to researchers, concerns are growing that AI chatbots could exacerbate psychiatric conditions as they are increasingly used in personal and emotional contexts.

Michael Flynn Reflects on the Russia Investigation: Exclusive

July 26, 2025 55:48

This is the full version of Jan Jekielek’s interview with Michael Flynn. The interview was released on Epoch TV on July 26, 2025.

Former Trump national security adviser retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn found himself at the center of a national firestorm when he was charged with lying to the FBI over a phone call he had with the Russian ambassador to the United States.

The DOJ would later drop the case, saying there was no “legitimate investigative basis” to have targeted him.

In his new book “Pardon of Innocence,” he details his story.

As new documents are released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Jan Jekielek sat down with the 33-year military veteran to understand how he sees everything that happened to him, almost a decade later.
