Colorectal Cancer Rising Among People Under 50: American Medical Association

A study presented at the Digestive Disease Week 2024 in May last year raised similar concerns.

The study analyzed data from a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention database to determine incidence rates of colorectal cancer between 1999 and 2020.

The changes in colorectal cancer incidence rates for each age group were:

Ages 10 to 14: increased by 500 percent

Ages 15 to 19: increased by 333 percent

Ages 20 to 24: increased by 185 percent

Ages 25 to 29: increased by 68 percent

Ages 30 to 34: increased by 71 percent

Ages 35 to 39: increased by 58 percent

Ages 40 to 44: increased by 45 percent

“This data reveals some very concerning trends, particularly in our younger population who do not typically come to mind when considering CRC (colorectal cancer) screening for patients,” Dr. Islam Mohamed, the study’s lead author, said in a statement at the time.

Liberal Zionist Jon Stewart's criticism of "Netanyahu" is that he's "putting the likelihood of a surviving Jewish state much more at risk" through his war on Gaza.

He suggests "the people of Israel" don't actually support Israel's genocidal ethnic cleansing/starvation campaign.

Stop with this bulls**t. Israelis' anger with Netanyahu is that he's not genocidal enough! He's literally a moderate by Israeli standards!

Shocking update on Australian politician found guilty of sexually abusing two young men

Gareth Ward is set to be ousted from NSW Parliament

Both major parties leaders called for him to resign

A parliamentary push could begin within weeks to remove a disgraced state MP after his conviction for sexually abusing two young men who still has not resigned.

NSW Premier Chris Minns said it would be 'ridiculous' for independent MP for Kiama, Gareth Ward, to be allowed to continue serving the state after he was found guilty of the crimes.

He called on the representative for the south coast seat of Kiama to immediately resign but added he had received legal advice that the former Liberal could be expelled from parliament if required.

'Firstly, he should resign,' Minns told reporters on Monday.

'It is completely ridiculous to be in a situation where someone has been not accused, not charged, but convicted of incredibly serious sexual assault convictions and stay as a member of parliament.

'This is just an untenable situation.'

The 'integrity' of the oldest parliament in Australia needed to be protected, the premier added, and action should be taken 'as soon as possible' when parliament returns on August 5.

'Many voters will say, "Are you really suggesting that someone who's been convicted of these incredibly serious charges continues on as a member of parliament, even if they're in jail?"' Minns said.

'…If you've been convicted of these serious charges, it's not reasonable that member stay as a member of parliament.

'I haven't spoken to all of my colleagues, and I haven't spoken to the crossbench or the opposition about it, but it would seem ridiculous that he would continue as a member of parliament.'

Under the NSW constitution, state MPs will have their seat vacated if convicted of offences punishable with a term of more than five years' imprisonment.

The most serious charge for which Ward, 44, was found guilty carries a maximum 14-year jail term but he still has the ability to appeal his convictions.

Ward was accused of inviting a drunk 18-year-old man - whom he met a year prior - to his South Coast home in February 2013.

The man told a jury that Ward, then a first-term Liberal MP, plied him with drinks before indecently assaulting him three times in one night despite his attempts to resist.

Two years later, Ward sexually assaulted an intoxicated political staffer after a mid-week event at NSW Parliament House.

The man, who was 24 at the time, said Ward climbed into bed with him, groped his backside and sexually assaulted him despite him repeatedly saying 'no'.

Netanyahu accuses Europeans of ‘rewarding Hamas’ by recognizing Palestinian state

Trump says Starmer didn’t discuss move with him, says he’s ‘not in the camp’ of pressing Israel for long-term solution

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blasts his British counterpart Keir Starmer for announcing conditional plans to recognize a Palestinian state, saying that it “rewards Hamas’s monstrous terrorism and punishes its victims.”

“A jihadist state on Israel’s border TODAY will threaten Britain TOMORROW,” writes Netanyahu in English on X.

“Appeasement towards jihadist terrorists always fails. It will fail you too. It will not happen,” he concludes.

35 US rabbis arrested in separate NYC and DC demonstrations for Gaza food aid

27 held after protesting in Senate majority leader’s office, 8 others detained near Israeli consulate, reflecting growing concern for Gazan civilians among liberal Jewish leaders

JTA — Dozens of US left-wing rabbis were arrested Tuesday morning after staging a protest at the office of Senate Majority Leader John Thune, a South Dakota Republican, calling for aid in Gaza and an end to what they called the Israeli government’s “blockade” of the enclave.

The arrests came a day after eight rabbis were arrested at a separate demonstration in New York City, in a sign of surging Jewish concern about the condition of Gazan civilians.

In Washington, the group of 27 rabbis affiliated with the advocacy group Jews for Food Aid for People in Gaza entered Thune’s office at around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday morning, and displayed banners reading “Rabbis say: Protect Life!” and “Rabbis say: Stop the Blockade.”

The demonstration called to mind some of the US protests by rabbis and other Jews in favor of a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war that took place regularly in the war’s first year, and some of the rabbis arrested were involved in those protests as well. But it comes as calls for an end to the war and relief for Gazan civilians grow more mainstream, amid a hunger crisis that has captured headlines around the world.

Over the past two months, over 23,500 American Jews, including over 750 rabbis and over 100 Jewish congregations, synagogues and organizations, have signed a statement titled “Jews for Food Aid for People in Gaza.” More than 1,000 rabbis worldwide signed an open letter this week demanding that Israel “stop using starvation as a weapon of war.” Jerusalem vehemently rejects this allegation.

And lawmakers from both parties, as well as US President Donald Trump and other world leaders, have expressed concern about the plight of civilians in Gaza — even after Israel announced that its army would pause military operations in some parts of Gaza for 10 hours a day to facilitate the distribution of aid.

Of the group of arrested rabbis, many have been vocal supporters of pro-Palestinian Jewish movements, including Rabbi Mordechai Liebling, the former director of the social justice organizing program at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College; Rabbi Abby Stein, the first openly transgender female rabbi from a Hasidic background; and Rabbi Andrue Kahn, a Brooklyn-based Reform rabbi who heads the historically anti-Zionist American Council for Judaism. One of those arrested, Rabbi Amelia Wolf, is the leader of the Conservative congregation Etz Hayim in Arlington, Virginia.

“This is about life and death. Our most urgent spiritual responsibility as Jews and as rabbis is to protect life,” Rabbi Alissa Wise, the founding director of Rabbis for Ceasefire, said in a statement. “All life is sacred, but Palestinian lives are not treated as such, and that is a blot on our collective humanity. We are here to insist on the sanctity of life of every Palestinian, of every Israeli, of all of us.”

Ex-girlfriend of Delta pilot arrested at SFO allegedly knew of daughter's abuse: court docs

The Contra Costa District Attorney's Office charged 45-year-old Jennifer Powell in the case. Powell is the mother of the girl who survived the abuse.

Powell is the ex-girlfriend of Delta pilot, Rustom Bhagwagar, who is accused of sexually abusing her daughter.

According to court documents, Powell was allegedly aware that her daughter was being abused.

The ex-girlfriend of a Delta pilot, who was arrested after landing at San Francisco International Airport on child sex abuse charges, has also been charged in the case that involves her young daughter, according to prosecutors.

The Contra Costa District Attorney's Office has now charged 45-year-old Jennifer Powell in the case. Powell is the mother of the girl who survived the abuse.

Powell's ex-boyfriend, 34-year-old Rustom Bhagwagar of Florida, faces 24 felony counts of engaging in sex acts with a child 10 years or under, oral copulation with a child, lewd acts on a child, and aggravated sexual assault on a child, prosecutors said.

According to a probable cause statement, Powell was aware that her daughter was being sexually abused by her then-boyfriend. The court documents said she watched, and even participated in the alleged sex crimes against her daughter.

Abuse allegedly went on for years

The abuse started when the girl was six years old and continued until she was 11. That was around the time when Powell and Bhagwagar broke up, according to prosecutors.

This is a pedo protection racket being run by the cops and courts

Hundreds accused of child sex crimes are convicted of lesser offenses in SC, some jailed one day

In Anderson County, one man has spent a chunk of his 20s racking up child sex crime accusations in recent years.

But despite multiple allegations, he’s continued to avoid a lengthy prison sentence so far, and his name doesn’t appear on the sex offender registry.

WIS Investigates found Donavon Jessie Austin Jr.’s case is far from an anomaly in South Carolina. In this state, child sex crime charges are often reduced to assault and battery as offenders can avoid the sex offender registry and sometimes spend little to no time in jail.

An arrest warrant shows Austin was accused of sodomizing a 13-year-old boy in 2020 when he was 26.

But as a part of a negotiated sentence, Austin instead pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and battery, according to sentencing records.

Instead of being incarcerated for as much as 20 years under the initial charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, Austin received no prison time when he pleaded guilty in 2022.

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but the sentence was suspended for 5 years of probation. He was not immediately ordered to register as a sex offender.

Sentencing records show in his case, the sex offender registry was “held in abeyance for psycho-sexual evaluation.”

SC lawmaker calls for special session, vote to expel representative facing federal charges

A formal request has been made to begin the process of expelling a South Carolina state lawmaker facing federal charges.

State Rep. Jordan Pace penned a letter to South Carolina House Speaker Murrell Smith and South Carolina Senate President Thomas Alexander on Monday calling for a special session and a vote to expel state Rep. RJ May.

May was arrested in June and is facing 10 federal counts of distributing child sex abuse material. Soon after his arrest, he was suspended from his role without pay as required by the state constitution.

The South Carolina State House Ethics Committee has also since launched its own investigation into May.

The only requirement to expel a member of the House is a two-thirds vote in favor of expulsion, per Article III, Section 12 of the state Constitution.
