Hot .40s in 135 gr are the only other handgun round to equal the old Federal / Remington .357 Magnum in 125 grain SJHP (96% one shot stop) from actual street data. I'll take those odds.

I like optimals. I carried a G22 12h/d for many, many years and trusted it with my life. Still do.

 

It's a bit of a brick to tote, so now it's more of an HD problem solver and I carry something a little CCW frenly. Still very potent, just not as potent as that G22 with boutique 135 HPs.
