Investigative journalist John Solomon has uncovered a smoking-gun email from Obama’s Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates explicitly ordering FBI agents to shut down a criminal corruption probe into the Clinton Foundation.

Thanks to Judicial Watch, the American public was made aware of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Hillary Clinton conducted official business on a non-government server so she could hide her Clinton Foundation pay-to-play while she was head of the Department of State.

According to emails obtained by Judicial Watch, Hillary Clinton gave preferential treatment to Clinton Foundation donors while she was Secretary of State.

In fact, Judge Royce Lamberth previously said Clinton’s use of private emails was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”

Now, according to John Solomon, the investigation, quietly running in New York, Washington, D.C., and Little Rock, was reportedly a fully predicated criminal case examining whether Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, ran a pay-to-play influence racket.

According to Solomon, FBI agents had reason to believe foreign nationals and other deep-pocketed donors bought access and favors from the State Department in exchange for massive contributions to the Clinton Foundation, all while the Obama DOJ looked the other way.

At the time, then–FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, whose wife took campaign cash from a Clinton ally while he personally attended the meeting to solicit the funds, allegedly locked down the investigation, ordering that no action be taken without his personal approval.

Four separate U.S. Attorneys’ offices under Obama were approached by FBI agents for help with subpoenas, grand juries, and evidence gathering. Three of the four refused outright.

The most damning piece, however, according to John Solomon, is the document uncovered by FBI Director Kash Patel.

In it, Deputy AG Sally Yates directly instructs the FBI to “shut it down” the Clinton Foundation investigation, effectively granting the Clintons immunity from further scrutiny during the 2016 election cycle.

According to Solomon, several prosecutors have now stepped forward and are willing to cooperate with Congress and Trump-aligned investigators.

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is attempting to walk back its cancelation of a documentary about the Hamas terror attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, saying it is working to resolve differences.

As Breitbart News reported Wendesday, the TIFF “canceled a documentary about the October 7, 2023, terror attack, ostensibly because of concerns that Hamas might have copyright claims to footage it of its murders.”

Breitbart News added:

Hamas broadcast footage of its own atrocities while they took place, a unique form of psychological warfare designed to inflict trauma on Israelis and to encourage its supporters among Palestinians in Gaza and abroad.

There is no conceivable way that it could advance legal claims to copyright in a western court, especially as its footage has become part of the public record, but the issue provided TIFF a pretext to cancel an Israeli film.

The Communist Party of China imposed a 75.8-percent tariff on Canadian canola products on Thursday, claiming that Canada was intentionally “dumping” underpriced canola seed into the Chinese market to hurt domestic farmers.

The measure appeared to be a response to the Canadian government, still under radical leftist Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the time, imposing a 100-percent tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs) last year to protect Canada’s fledgling homemade EVs. Chinese state media explicitly mentioned Canada’s “trade protectionist and restrictive measures against China” in reporting the canola seed tariffs, accusing Ottawa of violating World Trade Organization (WTO) rules. Beijing regularly manipulates the WTO to benefit its economy, most prominently by presenting itself as a “developing” country despite being the world’s second-largest economy.

China’s tariffs follow months of the Canadian government, still under Liberal Party rule following the election of current Prime Minister Mark Carney, struggling to prevent the imposition of much smaller tariffs by the United States. Carney won a special election to replace Trudeau in April by proclaiming himself the best candidate to combat President Donald Trump’s proposed tariffs, although Trump’s tariff policies against other countries had not actually impacted Canada at the time.

Trade talks with the United States have not, at press time, yielded any significant progress on lifting tariffs on Canadian goods, and Carney began admitting in July that he may not be able to convince Trump not to impose any tariffs. In early August, Trump announced a tariff of 35 percent on Canadian goods not covered by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a continental free trade agreement.

FinDev Canada invested millions in a failing Kenyan cellphone company without due diligence, a fact revealed in a six-year-delayed internal memo.

FinDev, a 2017 Development Finance Institute with a $300 million budget, invested US$10 million in Nairobi-based M-Kopa Holdings Ltd., which sells cell phones and housewares door-to-door.

Since 2018, FinDev has invested $43.4 million in privately held M-Kopa shares, with the company reporting $138.6 million in total losses.

A November 10, 2017 board meeting revealed the team's over-reliance on external due diligence and urged directors to prepare for scrutiny. It never turned a profit, leaving taxpayers responsible for losses, which it refused to disclose, citing restrictions.

FinDev fast-tracked M-Kopa's approval from October 3, 2017, to board agreement on November 10, relying on existing due diligence. Interest was confirmed by December 8, and payment occurred on February 26, 2018.

An internal email separately highlighted the need to clearly justify their role in the first transaction, anticipating significant scrutiny. FinDev refused to comment on the documents, according to recent Blacklock’s reporting.

The City of Calgary says it will add 120 electric transit buses to its fleet to lower operating costs and reduce pollution.

Calgary made the announcement on Aug. 8, saying the vehicles would start arriving in 2027, with the entire fleet expected to be on the road by 2028.

Director of Calgary Transit Sharon Fleming said it was a “cost-effective way” to grow its fleet.

“This investment means more reliable service, lower operating costs over time and cleaner air in our communities,” Fleming said.

The city said it was given federal money for the purchase.

Canadian psychologist and public speaker Jordan Peterson is stepping away from his public engagements after mould exposure led to a “severe” flare-up of a chronic illness he has been battling for years, his daughter says.

Daughter Mikhaila Peterson took to social media this week to announce that Peterson has been forced to postpone his podcasts and reschedule his European tour due to a “severe” onset of symptoms she said is linked to chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS).

“Jordan Peterson is taking some time off of everything,” his daughter wrote in an Aug. 13 X post, saying he has a “genetic predisposition” that results in the immune system’s inability to detect and detoxify mould or bacteria in indoor air.

“He’s pausing the podcast at the moment but we’re hopeful for a somewhat speedy recovery given we at least know what’s going on, and there is treatment, and he’s responding well, although it’s pretty rough.”

She said her father’s ill health is unrelated to his akathisia, a condition characterized by restlessness associated with benzodiazepine withdrawal, and noted he is not currently on any medication. Peterson was diagnosed with akathisia in 2020 and later underwent a benzodiazepine detox in Russia.

Mikhaila Peterson said her father has been battling CIRS since 2017, but the family didn’t know what the problem was at the time. A B.C. hospice society that had its public funding and building seized by the government for refusing to allow euthanasia onsite is now seeking a “sanctuary” location in rural Alberta for its new facility.

Delta Hospice Society (DHS) President Angelina Ireland said efforts to build a new palliative care home in B.C. have gone nowhere, forcing the society to pursue options elsewhere.

“We’ll go to Alberta, as long as they will have us and allow us freedom,“ Ireland told The Epoch Times. She said the new hospice is intended to serve as a ”national sanctuary for the living to come and live well until their natural end.”

Ireland said she has already had favourable discussions with Alberta justice and health officials, after asking them if the hospices’ services would be “welcome” in Alberta. “The answer that we had was, ‘yes,’” she said.

A spokesperson for Alberta Justice Minister Mickey Amery confirmed that the society and government have been in talks.

“Alberta government officials recently met with the Delta Hospice Society and are aware of their interest in opening a MAID-free hospice in the province,“ said press secretary Heather Jenkins. The government ”seeks to build a continuum of care where vulnerable Albertans can live in long-term health and fulfilment,” she said via email. Continue…
