The O’Keefe Media Group on Wednesday released undercover video of Daniel Choi, a US State Department Foreign Service Officer who admitted he dated a senior CCP leader’s daughter and refused to report her.

“I defied my government for love,” Daniel Choi said of his romantic relationship with 27-year-old Joi Zao.

Joi Zao entered the US on a work visa in September 2024.

“Her dad was either a provincial or a federal minister of education. So he’s, like, straight up Communist Party,” Choi said.

“Under federal regulations, Foreign Service Officers are required to report close and continuing contact with foreign nationals from adversarial nations, including China,” the O’Keefe Media Group reported.

Choi admitted he didn’t report her: “I was supposed to, whatever, sort of report what I knew about her, but I always thought that was kind of unfair.”

The State Department responded to the O’Keefe Media Group’s undercover video exposing Choi.

“Texas House Democrats abandoned their duty and are holding flood relief and property tax cuts hostage,” Abbott said.

“I ordered Texas DPS to arrest and return every derelict House Democrat to the Texas Capitol,” Abbott added.

Denmark reintroduced the proposal on July 1, the first day of its EU Council presidency. France, once opposed, is now in favor, Korben said, citing Patrick Breyer, a former member of the European Parliament for Germany and the European Pirate Party.

Belgium, Hungary, Sweden, Italy and Spain are also in favor, while Germany remains undecided. However, if Berlin joins the majority, a qualified council vote could push the plan through by mid-October, Korben said.

Ottawa recently joined other G7 leaders in launching a critical minerals action plan, and Prime Minister Mark Carney has noted the important role such minerals play in expanding the country’s defence plan.

But while the United States is implementing plans to quickly unleash its rare earth mineral development, Canada—despite having an estimated four times more rare earth elements —faces different limitations.

“Canada has the technology to process minerals and the manufacturing industry to turn them into products that work, but [it] doesn’t have the infrastructure,” said Jack Lifton, co-chair of the Ontario- and New York-based Critical Minerals Institute.

'It feels like this shouldn't be happening,' says whistleblower of the clandestine dog testing at St. Joseph's Hospital in London, Ont.

Surrounded by security staff, an unmarked white van pulls up to a receiving door behind St. Joseph’s Hospital. Scrub-clad staff quickly remove large boxes covered with blankets from the van and slide them into the building.

Hidden beneath those blankets are puppies in cages headed for the hospital’s sixth-floor research lab, according to two staffers.

Their way out will most likely be in garbage bags.

Researchers inside the hospital’s Lawson Research Institute, studying heart attack recovery in humans, use the dogs as stand ins. They induce up to three-hour-long heart attacks in the animals before killing them and removing their hearts, according to internal photos, documents and two current staff members who work there.

It is a clandestine process that has successfully kept the hospital’s long-standing dog research program hidden from the public and patients.

The publicly funded research has been reviewed and approved. The hospital says the dogs are treated ethically in the service of medical advancement that benefits the public.

But some experts interviewed by the Investigative Journalism Bureau (IJB) say the use of dogs in these experiments is both unnecessary and unethical. And the two whistleblowers call their work deeply troubling.
